Poor thing. I do hope she's not doing as bad as she looks. My busy schedule has pre-vented me from going to see one of her farewell performances, but she knows how fond I am of her. That is, if her mind hasn't gone.

Ree had the tummy surgery around 2010, that was her first dramatic and noticeable weight loss. She probably has many other health issues that have caused her to lose even more weight recently. And a person of her age already deals with natural aging, skin loosening. Just remember she probably has about three times as much stretched out skin, all over her body.

I'm missing them already.

She's been dealing with Cancer for several years and she is obviously doing another round of Chemo. Sometimes, because Chemo supresses your immune system, you can get very weak and be hospitalized. And sometime...you die from the Chemo treatments. So God Bless, Re Re !!! Hang in there. I just love it that she is gravely ill and still in control, talking to the media and reassuring us. There is no other Diva in the whole wide world who is or ever was like Aretha. I love her!!!!!!

She's not in the hospital. She's home and she's "in care."

I hope she gets a side of ribs before she goes.

She's not eating. it's a good bet she's in hospice care and I seriously doubt she has more than a week left.

This is very much Aretha. It's always on her terms.
