By the time Neverland opened (1988) laserdisc players had dropped in price and it was clear they weren't taking off the way they were initially expected to. This person was one of the most famous power players in the industry, but the other side was working to take him down.

The story had details about the whispering campaigns and smears that were being spread about him, and about actual sabotage, 'accidents' and attempted sabotage on some of his film sets. Once he and his friends figured out this wasn't all a coincidence and that it appeared to be organized, the subject called in the heavy troops on his side to help him out. Supposedly, there was a meeting, at which his side told the other side: keep this up, and We.Will.Destroy.You. We have the means and the opportunity - don't give us the motive . . . or else.

Everyone figured it was the Co$ vs. Spielberg. But then, the site disappeared, and we never heard anymore.

It was a pretty gripping read while it lasted.

He made the move back in September, and said it's only temporary until he gets something else worked out. I gather they believe some of the attacks were from a couple of disgruntled or outright crazy commenters on his site. Speaking of which, Poo Shoes posts over there under the name of one of her nemeses (KatieDot).

They've outright admitted that Himmmmm isn't an individual, it's a group of people posting blinds under that moniker. That would explain the incredible upsurge in conspiracy loon blind items: the group probably added a new member or two who's contributing them.

As for why, it's all about the clicks. Which works in the short run, but in the long run it's going to shoot Enty's credibility with his fans all to hell.

Whatever the disclaimer on the site says the blinds are pretty much presented like they were true, especially when some of the names are later revealed. I do get that the stars would rather stay away from the publicity that comes from a court case but one of these day Enty finally crosses the line and he/she will be dragged to court.

When she contacted Enty about the matter he was really nasty to her. Unfortunately her legal action doesn't seem to have gone anywhere. An actress from Little House on the Praire gave some thought to suing but ultimately decided it wasn't worth it.

I don't know about Spielberg, but there was a Summer when his partner in Dreamworks, David Geffen used to show up at Disneyland with Michael Jackson. They would tool up to the cast member entrance in his Jaguar and want to get comped into the park. MJ was in Captain EO at the time, so they got in.

Once they were in they would hang out in the arcade by Cpt. EO playing video games and trying like hell to get recognized. The funny thing was the almost no one paid them any attention. It got so bad that Michael started wearing more and more elaborate costumes until he was damn near in his full Sargent Pepper outfit. If Michael did get recognized he would run to security and complain (and yes, there was ALWAYS security right there monitoring what those two were up to). Someone high up must have eventually had a talk with him, because it stopped, but for a few months it was pretty damned creepy.

My point is, if you substitute "Geffen" for "Speilberg" that blind item makes a lot more sense.

One thing I happen to know, regardless, is lots of info about River’s death and the days leading up to it. I was heavily immersed in that “scene” when all of that went down. That night was a game changer for many of us in that circle, and many ended up either clean and sober, or more fucked up on dope as a result, but NOT because of the ridiculous conspiracy theories these nutjobs at DL blather about.
