Have any of you heard of the vimeo site Pumping Muscle? Used to watch and all this talk about sexual harassment has reminded me of it. The website is basically several hours long photoshoots of fitness models. Sporadically throughout the shoots, the cameraman (and site owner) would cop multiple feels on the models. Most of them were clearly uncomfortable and didn't know how to react. Any viewers who are rethinking the ethics of it?

Some look uncomfortable while others don't care or even like that kind of attention. I think the terms should be determined prior to filming to avoid the awkwardness. As a viewer I don't want to feel uncomfortable by seeing someone uncomfortable.
I like the concept behind the videos, I like the intimate talk although it disappoints me when they speak about women and girlfriends, as usual. I would prefer there wer more gay and bi bodybuilders open about it. I don't want bodybuilders to fake homosexuality if the producer ends up reading this, hahaha, but obviously, as a homosexual guy, I don't relate to heterosexual desire.
I understand that it is the bodybuilders themselves who approach these producers instead of the other way round, right? You know, in the field names and faces are known and bodybuilders inform each other of ways to make easy money.

R1 I guarantee most of the guys would turn it down if they were asked if they wanted to be groped during the photoshoot lol Especially knowing the video would be posted for the whole world.
And is that any different from young actresses that approach sketchy producers for roles? Not trying to criticize you, actually asking. I'm trying to sort through this all
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 24, 2017 6:15 PM |
This site? I don't see any cameraman or someone else touching them which video?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 24, 2017 6:59 PM |
That's the site R3 and the groping isn't advertised AT ALL lmao that would defeat the purpose. The owner presents himself as a legit Fitness photographer. If you go through the videos there is just just a lot of groping. Sometimes in some rated x areas if you know what I mean.
Models just see he website you linked to and think it's legit. A bunch are clearly unhappy and just deal with the groping. Some seem not to mind but that's rarer. And I assume there are guys on there we have never seen because they stomped out angrily

R3 if you want specific videos that have a lot more than usual. Find Daniel D 1 or 2. Maxwell 2. Dylan C 1. Aidan G2. There are a ton. About half the Vids on the site have groping of some sort
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 24, 2017 7:13 PM |
I don't know the details of how the producer works with those bodybuilders, but from hearing the talks and some intuition it looks like it's bodybuilders who try to approach him first while not setting the rule before any filming. You can see there is a lot of informality. Mnay of the guys he films with seem to be right in the middle of competitions. R2
Not all the bodybuilders look uncomfortable and not all of them seem to be ignorant of the touching part. Touching doesn't happen all the time either; only with some.
I remember a blond bodybuilder who while identifying as heterosexual and boasting about his success with women he allowed the producer to touch him all over except the penis, but apparetly he ended up liking the whole experience and has appeared in three other videos and there is touching ofthe penis too.
There si another bodybuilder who got all hard when getting his muscles touched. You can see his penis going up and the stimulation in his facial expression.
For me, intimate touching is not really the appeal but rather the exhibition of the muscular body and the confidence of the bodybuilder doing it, as if recreating foreplay where the part tries to entice you sexually by using his own body.

I want to watch and get off-there's no search option :( Looking for Maxwell.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 24, 2017 7:24 PM |
Search on YouTube and pulling muscle model name and photoshoot number. Find the PG trailer and link is in the description. But you don't need to pay. The Vids are pretty common online lol
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 24, 2017 7:27 PM |
Oh shit I forgot I was trying to ask if this is ethical lmao
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 24, 2017 7:27 PM |
Bodybuilders can always say no.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 24, 2017 7:49 PM |
But actresses can't?

#metoo!!!
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 24, 2017 7:55 PM |
What?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 25, 2017 3:10 AM |
I have to say I very much enjoyed watching Maxwell 2. The video is very good.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 25, 2017 12:48 PM |
So some like Maxwell are fine, he doesn't mind. Some like Jack or Zack actually seem over the line. Zack is 18 at the time of filming and actually looks almost in tears while being groped. He's clearly emotionally a kid, this is a pretty bad practice. I don't see how its different than Weinstein for real.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 25, 2017 1:05 PM |
Bodybuilders can say no. The owner of the studio has no power in the bodybuilding indistry and they can still film without the intimate touching. It's not like he start feeling them up all of a sudden. If you watch he always asks them first.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 25, 2017 2:13 PM |
But how is this different from Weinstein (besides the alleged straight up rape). Or what roger Ailes did when he was casting women. It's still wrong I think.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 25, 2017 2:53 PM |
I think you may be overthinking things way too much.
They can always say no. The producer always asks them if touching is OK. Some have said no touching; some have accepted but have restricted the touching to certain body parts; others are completely OK with being touched all over their bodies like the most natural thing.
Most of the bodybuilders who look uncomfortable look that way from the very beginning. Obviously the fact that those are videos for gay guys haunts them. Touching or not touching they look insecure anayway.
If they say no they can still film. The focus is muscle exhibition; not the touching. It is about showing your muscles, posing and flexing pretty much like you would do in stage but with a bit more of intimacy and coquetry if you will.
Perhps, to avoid problems they could set the rules prior to filming. That way they can also work on how to maximise the eroticism in muscle exhibition even if there is no touching.

Is this the same guy who made those Tim K videos?
He definitely did more than just groping in those.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 26, 2017 2:08 AM |
Yes. Tim K was very shye and insecure in his first video and didn't want the touching to go too far so it didn't go far. Apparently, he liked the experience and then he allowed the guy to touch him even down there.
There is a webcam video with hi in the net and he seems to enjoye the showing off and there is also another of him jerking off. His own production.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 28, 2017 12:47 AM |
WHO is Tim K?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 28, 2017 4:10 AM |
HOT dude, but unremarkable in this age of countless hot, flexing dudes on Instagram. PM is Beyond dated and quaint now.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 28, 2017 4:23 AM |
I don't think PumpingMuscle is dated at all. It seems the studio makes nice money.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 3, 2017 1:17 AM |
It's amoral money. It's predatory a lot of these guys are young. Don't know what they are getting into and seem too intimidated to say no
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 3, 2017 1:20 AM |
WRONG, the models know what they're getting into.
The website owner briefs them and asks their consent beforehand. Plus, they can see what everyone else does on the website beforehand.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 3, 2017 5:07 PM |
I hope r25 chokes herself to death with pearls from the clutch.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 3, 2017 5:10 PM |
When they look uncomfortable it is because it is their first time on camera so they are not accostumed to cameras on them and because it is material for gay men. Obviously if they did it for women they would be less comfortable for those who are heterosexual.
They are not forced to do anything they don't want to.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 3, 2017 5:44 PM |
LOL Im sure it has NOTHING to do with them being groped. Bet you same people SJW online all day for the women coming out agains Harvey Weinstein. And you should, this is just the same thing
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 3, 2017 5:58 PM |
People tend to think it’s unseemly and predatory largely because it’s unattractive or older men doing the groping. It would not seem to unseemly if other attractive fitness bros were doing the groping.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 3, 2017 6:15 PM |
Some people do think that way R30 but I don't. On another thread on here I called out the predatory relationship between two attractive IG muscle bros. One was MUCH older than the other but was also in physique contest shape and I personally found him attractive
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 3, 2017 6:17 PM |
Ther are some douchebags he has hired too. This bodybuilder given the name David S was all the time saying "no homo" and during a scene he asked the producer not to sell the video to gay men. He said he didn't mind women but not gay men. All this while he was naked, then being touched and then jerking off.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 3, 2017 6:23 PM |
Link r32?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 3, 2017 6:26 PM |
This one.
During a scene he also says "so gay" to something he finds lame.
There you can see the producer doesn't seem to have as much power as some think.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 3, 2017 7:25 PM |
Choosing most obnoxious guy is cheap way to argue. Zack J is 18 years old and on the verge of tears as the producer touches around his Junk
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 3, 2017 7:31 PM |
You are exaggerating. They appear in the videos because they consented. R35
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 4, 2017 12:33 AM |
They consented to being PHOTOGRAPHED not groped. How complicated is that?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 4, 2017 12:36 AM |
He asks them first, that's even on camera. Stop with the victimization. They are adults and consent to all they do like the adults they are. If they don't want it they can say "no".
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 4, 2017 12:46 AM |
Exactly how Roger Ailes would spin it
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 4, 2017 1:00 AM |
None of them looks like they are about to cry at all. Some of them look uncomfortable because they are something for a gay audience instead of a heterosexual audience. With or without touching they still like uncomfortable because it is gay material.
I bet th US is a free country and none of these bodybuilders are forced to appear in these videos, right?. These men get on a stage almost naked hitting suggestive poses for an entire male audience. They know what they are doing. If they have the guts to expose their nearly naked bodies on a stage then they have the guts to discuss with the producer what they agree on doing and what not.
They are adults; not kids.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 4, 2017 1:14 AM |
The owner of the site should apply some kind of criteria to filter out bodybuilders that may be homophobic. As a viewer you don't want to hear or sense homophobia from the bodybuilder who's beeng filmed.
Those kind of bodybuilders could perfectly become escorts for women, male strippers and any kind of job that caters to womens sexually. There are a lot of options they can take; just stay away from material that caters to gay men.

by Anonymous | reply 42 | January 5, 2018 1:53 PM |
r41, I know this is an old discussion, but the site owner seems like trash. He agrees with all of the right wing crap some of the guys spew.I remember Roger's video where he recalled a negative experience wrestling with a black guy in high school; complaining about way the guy's hair smelled from "the grease" and his dry skin. He goes to say "nothing against black people, but they stink." Now that guy could have had smelly hair and dry skin, but why does he feel the need to lump all black people into the category of smelly people?
Does the owner edit out that shit? Nope, he leaves in in, going about his merry way feeling up the guy, probably nodding his head off camera. The owner also laughs off another guy's jokes about Asians and their smell. Finally, the owner has guy-on-guy action with some of the models but edits them out, such a mess.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 17, 2018 8:03 AM |
Bodybuilding tends to attract men with poor social awareness, right? He probably nods to what they say so that they agree to do the "dirty" stuff on camera or else if they don't get their ego stroked they could just desist and walk away... R43
by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 17, 2018 3:21 PM |
oh no r44, I understand being neutral on the subject to get through the photo shoot, but he went into his own triad laughing at racist jokes about Asians.. I'd say he should have edited that crap out but he probably doesn't see any problem with the statements, and it help me avoid giving money to an asshole.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 17, 2018 3:32 PM |
I can't find a single one that shows groping.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 17, 2018 3:33 PM |
