Is that.... TV's Morgan Fairchild?
She knew a decent slab of beef when she saw one.

Did he produce any equally hot sons?

One of the hottest men ever to grace a TV screen, now and forever.

Funny, I just watched the abysmally-bad Galactica 1980 because of a random comment that suggested the reboot (probably some of the best television, ever) was based on a throwaway line from this abortion of a second season (for lack of any other description). Barry played the Starbuck-esque character, clearly because of his resemblance to Dirk Benedict, chiseled jawline and his feathered hair.

Oh, that square jaw, and that totally 70s hair....
Yes, feathered, blow-dried perfection.

Higher-waist levis gave everyone lovely bulges back then.

Not merely heterosexual, but a prolific BREEDER. Putting one in mind of a stud horse...
In 1974, he married Mary Carey; the couple had 4 children: Carey (born February 25, 1976), Shane (born August 28, 1979), Wes (born October 22, 1984), and Taryn (born June 1, 1986).

Very dated look. shows how standards of beauty change every few decades.

Not at all. Barry VD is like a fine wine.

I actually thought the grandson who played another doctor on the show was cuter.

He looks like a community college football coach.
Dick van Dyke was extraordinarily handsome: this son, yech.

Dick Van Dyke. Dick Van Patten. There aren’t enough Dicks in Hollywood anymore.

Amazingly, I never heard about him. He’s quite handsome! Any nudes?

I bet there is porn out there of naked men in soot face doing the chimney sweep number.
I’d pay.

Handsome, but I don't think I've ever seen anything with him. Perfect candidate for the Speedo-rific Battle of the Network Stars programmes in the late 70s/early 80s.

Glad to know he's still with us. His nonagenarian father is in remarkable shape.

Recent pic. Still a hot man.
According to (a completely unreliable) internet search, his net worth is $3 million. Not bad, but not stellar for a working actor with a pedigree and a wife and 4 kids.

That's not a recent pic R35, unless you consider 2008 recent.

Yes incredibly handsome man. As for the 3 million net worth- he's Dick Van Dyke's son so...

Amazing body, but like the awesome Marc Singer (BEASTMASTER), such an unfortunate face.

He was primarily a TV actor in the 80's and 90's. They didn't pay that much back then.

Unfortunate face? I thought Barry was extremely handsome.

I always thought he was very good looking in his 20s-40s-----------also very very good bod for the time period. I liked Grant Goodeve of eight is enough also, I had a thing for the slightly offbeat ones Iguess. Barry Vad Dyke s sons are nice looking as well

Jerry used to come into my Radio Shack store before I started working there. The sales staff I worked with said that he often spoke of his brother Dick in the most hateful terms. At that time, at least, it seemed he despised him.

Jerry's daughter Kelly Jean (an adult film star) killed herself. Her husband Jack Nance (a regular in David Lynch projects) was on the phone with her trying to talk her out of it when the power went out at the mountain lodge where he was staying. He was on location filming Meatballs 4. By the time he was able to call for help, she was gone.
He died alone at home a few years later of a head injury sustained while in an alcoholic stupor.
You can't make this stuff up.
