Poor guy was only 39. Apparently died of complications from IBS. What a shitty way to go...
Mychael Knight of Project Runway is dead to me!
by Anonymous | reply 73 | January 1, 2019 5:45 PM |
Who?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 18, 2017 1:05 AM |
so sad. I hope people don't make jokes about his death. He was talented and seemed like a nice guy
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 18, 2017 1:12 AM |
SAD :( he was so cute and actually a nice person
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 18, 2017 1:12 AM |
Is he gay?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 18, 2017 1:13 AM |
Is Opal OK?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 18, 2017 1:15 AM |
Is this the guy with the talking car or the one on All My Children?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 18, 2017 1:18 AM |
Was he the guy with the F'd up grill who ended up working with She By Sheree?
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 18, 2017 1:19 AM |
IBS complications? That’s... terrifying.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 18, 2017 1:21 AM |
Didn't he have a furniture line?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 18, 2017 1:21 AM |
No idiots, he sang "One Last Cry", remember?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 18, 2017 1:21 AM |
He was on RHOA
If he was gay he was closeted. So he was closeted
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 18, 2017 1:22 AM |
Damn, I didn't know IBS could kill.
Has Laura Bennett released a statement?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 18, 2017 1:22 AM |
IBS ... a shitty way to go... I C what U did thar OP :^) .
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 18, 2017 1:24 AM |
He actually died of AIDS but they are saying it's IBS.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 18, 2017 1:24 AM |
How in the world can you die from IBS??
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 18, 2017 1:25 AM |
He's black.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 18, 2017 1:28 AM |
That seems very suspicious. I've had IBS for more than 25 years and it doesn't affect your immune system. It's just a nuisance.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 18, 2017 1:29 AM |
It was sadder when his sister Jynny died
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 18, 2017 1:30 AM |
What? IBS? Sad - he seemed really sweet. Can't believe he's 39 - always thought he was a lot younger.
Can you die from IBS? No way - that's no - there's no way.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 18, 2017 1:31 AM |
Unlike IBD, IBS doesn't usually damage tissue.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 18, 2017 1:36 AM |
Wow. Nice and talented guy. Used to see him fabric shopping at Gail K’s in Atlanta all the time.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 18, 2017 2:00 AM |
Someone in another thread posted a photo of him at his most recent/last exhibit that showed extreme wasting...
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 18, 2017 2:06 AM |
According to mr.google, ibs isn't fatal.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 18, 2017 2:06 AM |
Young people still die from AIDS in America? I thought medicine made it possible to live a long life with AIDS now.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 18, 2017 2:07 AM |
Here is his Project Runway finale. After a very respectable season, he sadly went off the rails and created a collection of cheap-looking and ill-fitting resort wear. Judge for yourself. He did come across as a nice and likeable person.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 18, 2017 2:07 AM |
He didn't die from IBS, that's ludicrous. It's as ridiculous as saying he died from stubbing his toe.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 18, 2017 2:08 AM |
l'aids
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 18, 2017 2:12 AM |
Thanks for the vid, r25.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 18, 2017 2:12 AM |
L'ayds
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 18, 2017 2:17 AM |
Why did his tweet say that IBS can trigger other illnesses? He said there was internal leakage from his intestines.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 18, 2017 2:25 AM |
Explosive diarrhea can be fatal.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 18, 2017 2:36 AM |
I ain’t no fashion expert but his collection didn’t look so bad. The reaction of the audience looked like it was the worse.
How was his career after the show?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 18, 2017 2:36 AM |
If I had explosive diarrhea in public I would die of embarrassment. I had it once in a public toilet and that was bad enough.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 18, 2017 2:39 AM |
Doesn't Housewife Camille suffer from that too?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 18, 2017 2:42 AM |
Lol r34
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 18, 2017 3:06 AM |
He did not die of IBS for fuck’s sake. He probably was poz.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 18, 2017 3:16 AM |
It was complications. So maybe he had surgery and a seizure or heart attack, or a severely adverse reaction to medication.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 18, 2017 3:21 AM |
[quote]Young people still die from AIDS in America?
Alexis Arquette died recently from complications from AIDS. Yes, it does still happen.
[quote]In 2014, the last year for which these data are available, 12,333 Americans with HIV died of any cause, and 6,721 of them died from causes directly attributable to HIV.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 18, 2017 3:34 AM |
It does indeed. Also, how many people with HIV cannot take meds because of severe side effects, or take meds despite having side effects?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 18, 2017 3:39 AM |
[quote]I've had IBS for more than 25 years and it doesn't affect your immune system.
Post-infectious IBS most certainly does, R17, and the last few years have seen a lot of research on the theory that most types are linked to chronic immune system deficiency. You might want to get another doctor, or just pay attention to what the doc you have actually says.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 18, 2017 3:44 AM |
There is a difference between irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel syndrome. The former is uncomfortable and and makes you constipated, diarrheal or both. The latter includes ulcerative colitis and Crohns and can be deadly. He had the latter.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 18, 2017 4:08 AM |
He said he had IBS, R42.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 18, 2017 4:09 AM |
So he was a closet gay?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 18, 2017 4:15 AM |
It's like saying he died of indigestion. Absurd.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 18, 2017 4:20 AM |
I have Crohn's Disease, which is an autoimmune disorder. The medicine I am on to treat the Crohn's suppresses my autoimmune system to allow my intestine to heal. It also makes me more susceptible to infections, cold, flu, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 18, 2017 4:22 AM |
Sorry, R46. I have a very good friend with severe Chron's. It's difficult, the biologics are really helpful but take a toll. Hang in there!
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 18, 2017 4:23 AM |
Also a Crohn’s sufferer, let’s make the distinction: IBD can kill, IBS cannot.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 18, 2017 4:32 AM |
He had AIBS
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 18, 2017 4:40 AM |
R39, 47 is too young to die, but certainly not if youve been poz for 25 years. I doubt that Alexis Arquette was the most healthy person outside of that. She was a bad example...
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 18, 2017 4:58 AM |
Thank you, r42. So people can stop dragging his barely cold corpse through the mud. He said what he had, but people need something juicier.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 18, 2017 5:08 AM |
He never said he had IBD.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 18, 2017 5:11 AM |
Maybe he was initially diagnosed with IBS and the doctor later changed to IBD. These things happen all the time.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 18, 2017 5:15 AM |
Christ, I gotta fart.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 18, 2017 5:16 AM |
Yes r54 I imagine you do, but that fart won't kill you.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 18, 2017 6:25 AM |
wasn't he The Straight One that season?
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 18, 2017 6:35 AM |
I remember him well. His forte was sportswear design for both sexes. His connection with his model was extraordinary. When watching, I remember thinking that she was telling him what to do sometimes. His finish just had the "it" factor.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 18, 2017 7:11 AM |
[QUOTE]but that fart won't kill you.
I've been told mine do.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 18, 2017 2:56 PM |
MYCHAEL A KNIGHT, JR R.I.P. 1978 - 2017
HERE LIES THE DEARLY DEPARTED HE WAS ALIVE BUT THEN HE SHARTED
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 18, 2017 3:06 PM |
If he had intestinal leakage, he had BID, not ins, and he died from the resultant peritonitis.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 18, 2017 3:21 PM |
Some of y’all are twisted.
I bet you make Holocaust and slavery jokes too.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 18, 2017 3:23 PM |
[quote]wasn't he The Straight One that season?
His sexuality never was addressed on his season.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 18, 2017 3:31 PM |
Frau @ r61.
The affected, written “y’all” gives it away every time.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 18, 2017 3:39 PM |
Not as tedious as you r63.
Y’all can go FUCK yourselves!!
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 18, 2017 3:43 PM |
Poor guy. I had no idea you can die from IBS.
Kind of scares me because I have Crohn's pretty bad.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 18, 2017 5:06 PM |
Fraus love ALL CAPS, r64!
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 18, 2017 5:11 PM |
OMG I have been loudly cackling at R59 's epitaph the whole train ride 🙊
by Anonymous | reply 68 | October 18, 2017 5:14 PM |
r66 I actually came across that youtube video a couple years ago, funny as fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | October 18, 2017 5:17 PM |
what????????
by Anonymous | reply 70 | October 18, 2017 7:23 PM |
Bumping this because I’m watching his season on Bravo. Was it ever revealed what he died from? It certainly couldn’t have been IBS.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | January 1, 2019 5:31 PM |
It's still a mystery R71
by Anonymous | reply 72 | January 1, 2019 5:42 PM |
They are keeping it secret because he died from complications related from HIV/AIDS.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | January 1, 2019 5:45 PM |
