I am seeing a lot jacked and buff guys in the gym wearing fitted sweatpants that essentially look like compression pants in jogging pants material. Anyone know what clothing brands make sweats like this?
Perhaps you'll find some info in the thread below, OP.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 30, 2017 3:27 PM |
well r1, compression tights are different, but I guess it's the same concept.
I like the athelisure trend, and guys showing their asscheeks in compression pants, but it has gone too far with fitted sweatpants. If you want a pair of fitted pants, just buy some real fitted pants. Sweatpants are for when you need to wear pants, but don't want to feel like you have pants on. This fitted bullshit is not as comfy.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 30, 2017 3:40 PM |
Saw jacked dude in gym yesterday in fitted sweatpants. His big bubble butt was so hot and tight in those pants.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 30, 2017 3:45 PM |
I've been looking for fitted sweatpants for ages. Not as tight as the one in OP since I don't have the bod for it. But more contoured than the usual.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 30, 2017 3:54 PM |
Most sweatpants available now are fitted. You can buy cheapo ones at Target or Old Navy, which is what those bubble butt guys in your gyms are wearing. But good luck finding loose fitting ones now, they aren't on trend
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 30, 2017 3:59 PM |
Uniqlo?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 30, 2017 4:07 PM |
It's a gym, not Fashion Week in NYC. Guys who wear shit like this are trying way too hard.
Wear shorts and a tank top. The hottest guys at the gym really don't give a flying fuck about fashion trends.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | September 30, 2017 4:13 PM |
I wear them for work. Search term is “jogger”. Nike makes great thicker material therma-dri but throws logo too much. Reebok has some good stuff. Amazon features no-names with decent stuff.
There are specific business sweat pants makers who price about the same as Nike.

by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 30, 2017 4:47 PM |
They look hot on built dudes.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 30, 2017 5:12 PM |
Hot guy in op's picture. More?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 30, 2017 5:20 PM |
You should only wear them if you are fit muscular.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 30, 2017 6:21 PM |
Real men don't wear that shit
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 30, 2017 6:24 PM |
I knew I had reached the middle age threshold about a year ago when I realized dudes are wearing calf-length black socks (dad socks from my generation!), leggings and oversized Blanche Devereaux tee shirts in Golden Girls colors. WTF? I am officially too old for trends because this shit looks ridiculous to me.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 30, 2017 7:10 PM |
R14, you just realized that a year ago. Black socks have been huge all decade. But they are not Dad socks; they must be athletic jock socks, mostly with Nike swoosh.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 30, 2017 7:12 PM |
R15 It was seeing men in tights that made me feel old. The black socks thing was the tipping point for me. Seeing trendy guys dressed like Golden Girls was the apex.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 30, 2017 7:18 PM |
Seriously, minus the heels, Blanche's outfit would translate perfectly to a trendy Millennial.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 30, 2017 7:22 PM |
They're called leggings.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | September 30, 2017 7:26 PM |
Men that hot have earned the right to wear short shorts.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 30, 2017 7:27 PM |
[quote]Seeing trendy guys dressed like Golden Girls was the apex.
Are you sure that wasn't a drag show?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 30, 2017 7:28 PM |
No Golden Girl ever wore a sleeveless hoodie.
You're an old fart, r19.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 30, 2017 7:29 PM |
R23 Nope, it's the Zara/H&M crew who walk around in XXXXL sweatshirts and printed tights. In other words, Brandon from Project Runway.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 30, 2017 7:30 PM |
You can tell me this Brandon Kee design isn't something Blanche would wear. But my eyes tell me otherwise.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 30, 2017 7:32 PM |
Use the search terms "slim-fit" or "skinny" or "tapered" with "men's sweat pants."
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 30, 2017 7:43 PM |
The Golden Girls old nuts are trying to ruin another hot dude thread with their archaic effeminate obsession. Stay In your lane, man.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 30, 2017 7:45 PM |
I work with a super sweet early 20's guy and ran into him the other day, shopping. He was wearing a pair of fitted sweatpants and some sort of athletic team shirt. His ass looked scrumptious and I had to excuse myself from our friendly conversation to keep myself from propositioning him.
I've been j.o. to thoughts of him, since.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 30, 2017 8:45 PM |
I don't see anything wrong with the style. To me these pants look like a cross between pants I wore back in my 80s college ballet class, and the pair of long (thermal) underwear I still sometimes wear in the winter today. They're just using a heavier cotton material and have added a drawstring and pockets. But the cut with the tapered legs is basically the same.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 30, 2017 9:14 PM |
I bought a couple of Hind tapered pants. They are really nice and comfortable for running and working our. They are not running tights, either.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 30, 2017 9:19 PM |
Hind?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 30, 2017 9:38 PM |
Those guys are going to get staph infections from working out shirtless on shared gym equipment.

Bless you, R28.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 4, 2017 4:09 AM |
I just got a black pair at Old Navy (!) for $39.
I'd been looking for a while and was pleased to espy them in the window.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 4, 2017 4:38 AM |
Clothes for men now show off the body a lot more than they used to. I recently tried champion athletic shorts on at target and found them hard to move in. Then I realized they were cut specifically in order to show off the butt.

by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 4, 2017 11:34 AM |
R33 Could it be that he looks like that because he works out four hours a day and lives off whey protein and steroid smoothies?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 4, 2017 11:40 AM |
One of the trainers at my gym wears black pants like the ones that the OP's guy is wearing. He looks hot as fuck in them. Of course, he is jacked.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 4, 2017 11:46 AM |
I'm looking for sweatpants that look like dress pants. Seriously I can't find them. What do you call them? I see them around now and then and they are cool as hell. It's a nice way to be comfortable on the weekends without looking like a pig.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 4, 2017 12:19 PM |
I want pajama jeans
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 4, 2017 1:11 PM |
Yeah, skinnny and Chunky dudes should not wear these. Just look at all the hot buff jacked bros looking so hot in these. How could anyone w a busted bod even dare wear them?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 4, 2017 1:20 PM |
Hmmmm
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 4, 2017 2:46 PM |
I can't stand fitted/tight sweatpants. They're supposed to be baggy so that your dick bangs around when you walk. You can't see the goods in those things--the way that you want them to be displayed, anyway.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 4, 2017 2:48 PM |
R42 I want a hot guy wearing them.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 4, 2017 2:52 PM |
As long as the dude is fit muscular
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 4, 2017 3:30 PM |
Exactly r45 ! Finally, someone who sees what I see. Are you single? We might be soulmates!
I saw a guy with these shits on today, his legs were like toothpicks. He was very tall as well, which drew attention to it. Please do not wear these things unless you have LEGS. With real muscle definition.

OP's guy is wearing Aesthetic Revolution pants. I think R33's guy is as well
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 13, 2017 3:13 AM |
Sooo let’s see...only bodybuilders should wear sweatpants. Only bodybuilders should show up on gay apps. Only bodybuilders should be seen in public. This is not the place for independent-minded gay men, is it?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 13, 2017 3:18 AM |
Not just bodybuilders, but also fitness models and male aesthetics physique bros.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 13, 2017 3:25 AM |
"Male aesthetics physique bros". That's quite the title. Does anyone actually identify as that?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 13, 2017 3:28 AM |
R56 Well the common ground among fitness models, gay pornstars and your average gayboyhood tank top prancer is that they are all bodybuilders. Not necessarily competitive, but always at the gym at least five days a week and ranging in size and dedication from creatine (level 1 intermediate bodybuilder) to IV steroids (level 5 live-and-fuck-in-the-moment oily bodubuilder).
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 13, 2017 3:28 AM |
Ha, I know the guys -- errrrr, bros -- in R53's photo. The one on the left ass out was Steve Grand's love interest in Steve's first video, "All American Boy." He was also (formerly) in the thruple relationship with Steve Pena and Brent Everett. I see him around DC and at the gym every once in a while. The guy whose dick he's holding is his current boyfriend.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 13, 2017 4:46 AM |
How can you identify without faces?
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 13, 2017 4:50 AM |
Trust me. I know I'm correct. (That tat was a big clue.)
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 13, 2017 4:52 AM |
Why would you workout in sweatpants. I would be too hot and too sweaty to wear them because I actually run and workout, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 14, 2017 8:29 AM |
R64 - ever run outside? If you do actually run you want to keep your muscles warm from start to finish. Also depending on the fabric sweatpants can wick moisture away from you body. Workout gear has been following fashion trends for quite awhile. Welcome to the 21st century.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 14, 2017 9:31 AM |
They're called "joggers" or "jogger pants" OP. Everybody has been wearing them for the last 5 years or so. Slim fit and cuffed or elasticated bottoms. You can get them in sweats material or in cotton drill and even denim.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 14, 2017 9:39 AM |
Aesthetic Revolution joggers cost $120. I have the body to wear them, but I would consider that “try hard” for workout gear.
I may but some that are cheaper.

I stopped by Marshall’s to check out discount joggers. I’m a 31 waist and 5’10”. In the Nike joggers I was a Small waist, but the leg length were high waters. In the Adidas joggers, I had to go up to a Medium for my waist size, but the leg length was to long....they bunched up.
Suggestions? I don’t have a Uniqlo in the city that I live.

Ok, boys, I bought my first pair of joggers today....black Nike small.
It’s getting cold out, so no wearing a tank top or t shirt. The hoodie in R105 is “try hard” but I like the Beyond Limits hoodies at R81. However Beyond Limits is a European site and I want to buy at a US retailer.
Any suggestions from the wise sages of DL?

If they're tight and fitted, they're NOT sweatpants. They're something else -- give them a different name. Stop trying to appropriate perfectly good relaxing apparel.
