These are actually good choices, OP.
I would not describe any of these women as "lazy." But there is a difference between naked ambition and a work ethic, eg, Celine Dion may be ferociously ambitious (or not), but has always had an exceptional work ethic re: consistency of performance and keeping in touch with her fans. OP did not include her, and I'm not a super-fan, but let's give the bitch her due. Moving on:
In descending order: JL Dreyfus, Sandra B, and J Aniston have all had the financial security (at least early on enough) to seek out the unique projects that genuinely interest them. Dreyfus and Bullock have done very well with this strategy and continue on. Aniston.... not so much.
Tina and (perhaps) Cher are way too mature, rich, and happy in their lives to invest in this. (Tina would never compare herself to ANY of these women, frankly.) Cher continues to try to appear relevant (and preternaturally young), but she's long given up seriously competing with younger gals; she's turning into The Wise Elderwoman and is actually one of the few divas who enjoys/welcomes younger women. Which leads us to....
Madge, Bette, Mariah, and Roberts. The aggressive heat and hunger could be identified in outer space!
Bette & Mariah, I suspect, would both be happier hanging out at home in their snugglies eating bon-bons, watching WENDY, but their reps are always on the line, at least in their heads. Or that of their management, or anyone else counting on them for a fat paycheck.
(Can you imagine a Bette/Mariah project? It could be so insanely brilliant that it made HISTORY!)
By contrast, Madge and Julia will go on, endlessly: there's never gonna be satisfaction enough.
Which leaves us with Reba. Adorbs. She has a terrific, highly regarded rep among peers. Aging well.
But I know nothing of her, and care even less.
