You wouldn't necessarily think he was all that sexy just to see a still photo of him, and in some roles (as in "Poldark") this Welsh actor isn't sexy at all. But as Detective Tom Mathias On "Hinterland" the camera just loves him. He's got great hurt eyes, and nice muscular legs--they always show him in tight jeans and often emphasize butt shots. He reminds me of Russell Crowe back when Russell Crowe was attractive.
he was really cute when he was young--now he can look either very sexy or even ugly depending on how he's photographed.
He has great eyes.

He really does have the best ass and legs on British television. His upper body is nothing to get excited about, but because he runs "ultramarathons," his legs and ass are just pure muscle. He bulges out of his jeans on "Hinterland," and they often film him from behind when he's bent over a table because his ass is so nice.

Only 42 but he looks ten years older at least.

He’s perfect for Hinterland. Masculine with the right touch of empathy. Oh and legs...

I agree, he can look rather rough but there is something rather ugly sexy about him.

Watching now and his brown eyes carry the show.

Harrington was in the news over the weekend because he said he'd been working as a Deliveroo delivery driver/cyclist during lockdown in London.
His big break was in the mid 90s when he started in a short Welsh language film called Dafydd where he plays a rent boy. He was touted as the next big thing but he never achieved the same kind of stardom as other Welsh actors, but has worked consistently. There's a lot of snobbery in Wales around the Welsh language and Harrington was a Welsh learner. He is not a natural Welsh speaker but attended a Welsh language school.
As for Hinterland I found it so cringeworthy. At times it felt like a French and Saunders parody of the Scandinoir genre, not a homage.
