Do you think he has it in him to be one of the big Hollywood stars?
too old
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 14, 2017 6:04 PM |
I am not into any Eastwood.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 14, 2017 6:05 PM |
Very handsome but lacks charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 14, 2017 6:05 PM |
I think he's great looking, but he's aging very fast. He's 31 going on 42.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 14, 2017 6:07 PM |
R3 is Matt Bomer
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 14, 2017 6:08 PM |
The only thing "in him" that has gotten him this far, is Clint's DNA.
He's very handsome, but no real talent.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 14, 2017 6:12 PM |
He is trying way too hard. It's gross.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 14, 2017 6:17 PM |
He should write an "Easy Rider" kind of film. He needs to do something extraordinary to break out of his father's shadow.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 14, 2017 6:26 PM |
He's a handsome guy, but lacks broader appeal beyond being handsome. He lacks screen charm or charisma - even the four Chrises have screen presence that he lacks which both says nothing and says a lot.
They'll try to keep making him happen for a few more years, but eventually will give up.
What Clint ought to do, except ego would never allow it, is remake as a director one of his own classic westerns with the son starring. If done well, would be a huge success for both of them.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 14, 2017 6:30 PM |
I think he should go the David Mayer Rothschild route and be an eco-enviro adventurer who gets media spreads.
Why? Because he'd look great on a boat - and it is even better if you aren't solely posing.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 14, 2017 6:33 PM |
No.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 14, 2017 6:34 PM |
But that was a dead end of Josh Bernstein, Zay Harding, and Hunter Ellis, all of whom were DL heartthrobs.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 14, 2017 6:35 PM |
I prefer my wood pointing north.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 14, 2017 6:37 PM |
No I don't.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 14, 2017 6:37 PM |
Yet another member of the lucky sperm club, trying to make it based on their parent's fame. Who would have thought that acting talent was genetic?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 14, 2017 6:42 PM |
I am sure he used the same method to be a star that his dad did. Take it up the ass!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 14, 2017 6:44 PM |
He is so thirsty, but just doesn't have "it"
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 14, 2017 6:45 PM |
He's got to have a break-out role, which is difficult unless it's in some movie franchise or big-budget special effects movie. Otherwise, they don't make movies these days that propel the leads to be stars.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 14, 2017 6:47 PM |
I've made out with him before - he's a great kisser but only into dudes when he's wasted
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 14, 2017 6:48 PM |
How about showing some serious skin?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 14, 2017 6:56 PM |
Don't think I've ever seen someone so hot with so little charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 14, 2017 6:57 PM |
How are his crows feet that deep at 31? Wow.
Not like it matters, he's very hot. I haven't seen him act.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 14, 2017 6:59 PM |

You mean Bryan Singer's cock?
Nope. He's too old.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 14, 2017 6:59 PM |
Too obviously douchy.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 14, 2017 7:01 PM |
No, can't act.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 14, 2017 9:43 PM |
He doesn't have the talent.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 16, 2017 3:12 AM |
Do you not think we've moved away from the big star era somewhat? I could be wrong. People flare up, are in a string of 'blockbusters' for a bit, and then they fall off the radar. May not be a bad thing.
As for Scotty boy, he has said several times in interviews that people need to toughen up, suck up their problems, man up - all that boring macho horse shit he learned from his dad. In other words: he has ZERO empathy, which means in the long run, he is NEVER going to be a great actor. Best he can hope for is to get 3 or 4 big budget action films and count his blessings.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 16, 2017 3:12 AM |
He's really only 31? Looks early 40s in OP's pic.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 16, 2017 3:31 AM |
r28 Obviously you've never received a blowie from Scott
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 16, 2017 7:42 PM |
He's too gay.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 13, 2017 6:02 AM |
He looks respectably hung .
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 13, 2017 6:02 AM |
He has "it" to be in one of the big Hollywood stars...
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 13, 2017 6:06 AM |
He's fuckable but he's not a star. He should try for some idiot tv show like the Caan son.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 13, 2017 6:08 AM |
I've read several blinds about him being into dudes. Supposedly Clint doesn't know.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 13, 2017 6:09 AM |
Blinds from where, R37? All blinds are not created equal.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 13, 2017 6:11 AM |
He does that thing where he says, "I'm too traumatized by my last ex girlfriend whom nobody knows to be in a relationship ever again". It's typical talk of closet male celebrities who don't have the guts to come out but are too gay to get themselves a beard.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 13, 2017 6:11 AM |
I want to fuck him hard. Seems Like Scotty boy would know how to take it
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 13, 2017 6:49 AM |
He has no credentials other than being a well known actor's son.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 13, 2017 6:53 AM |
Nope. Would have happened by now.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 13, 2017 6:57 AM |
He needs to get attached to a major franchise or comic book movie if he wants to get famous.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 13, 2017 6:58 AM |
[quote] "I'm too traumatized by my last ex girlfriend whom nobody knows to be in a relationship ever again".
Ding ding ding ding ding! Ladies and Germs, we have a winner.
Yep, he's gay. Hey, I'll bet that traumatizing ex-girlfriend lived in.... wait for it... wait for it...... CANADA!

R22 all lines on the face like crows feet, forehead are due to sun damage. Too many sunburns. No head coverage with a hat and sunglasses. He doesn't wear sunblock. Sunglasses with spf-type ratings also protect against skin cancer. I read recently that 15% of skin cancers first occur on the eyelids.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 13, 2017 11:58 AM |
The celeb kid curse--you can be cute but if you lack charisma or unique acting talent---if lucky he'll be doing supporting roles in straight to streaming stuff and basic cable for the rest of his life. There was a time when there were a lot of these guys: Jim MItchum, Patrick Wayne, Jody McCrae. They never got beyond small roles in their dads' films or big roles in low budget beach movies and if they still show up it's in small parts in cable tv junk.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 13, 2017 3:31 PM |
Handsomer than his dad, but just not a star.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 13, 2017 3:35 PM |
The first word that came to mind when I read the thread title was "stupid." So yeah, with his name advantage, he'll have some kind of career, but not like his dad's. He should do TV, like daddy did, if he hasn't already.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 13, 2017 3:36 PM |
His daddy was a late bloomer as a star but had a solid track record in tv, b-movies , and spaghetti westerns.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 13, 2017 4:36 PM |
Botox would help him look his age.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 13, 2017 4:47 PM |
He lacks charisma, he hasn't daddy's rough charms.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 13, 2017 4:53 PM |
He's a cute mouth breather.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 13, 2017 4:55 PM |
His hair has star quality, not him....
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 13, 2017 4:57 PM |
If it were going to happen, wouldn't it have happened by now? Just wondering.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 13, 2017 9:06 PM |
Deep, deep crows' feet for 31. He needs to stop smiling forever. Sun block
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 13, 2017 9:08 PM |
This is probably what he looks like when he smiles
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 13, 2017 9:26 PM |
Seems like the bro that would always swallow and never spit.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 13, 2017 10:00 PM |
If Scott didn't have a famous father, he would probably be a Sean Cody model famous for taking cream pies and eating cum. He loves attention.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 13, 2017 10:04 PM |
Now I want to see that R60
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 13, 2017 10:06 PM |
he's probably a republican like his father. so, no thanks.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | August 14, 2017 12:45 AM |
Well, at least based on a 2015 interview, he seems pretty chill with his views
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 14, 2017 12:48 AM |
Is he one of Clint's many bastard kids?
by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 14, 2017 3:07 AM |
Yes, he was never married to Scott's mom.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 14, 2017 3:09 AM |
He definitely has the looks, and the bonus of not yelling at empty chairs like a crazy person. He's been in a lot of stuff, but I can't say I remember seeing him in anything.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 14, 2017 3:13 AM |
Are we trying to make him happen?
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 14, 2017 3:17 AM |
Not with that sun damaged skin, he looks like a crocodile handbag
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 14, 2017 4:59 AM |
What I've noticed most is that they are really trying to shove him down our throats.
They put him in some horrid Nicholas Sparks film to try and spin him as a romantic lead. Not sure of what he's done since, but he's a fixture in the Daily Fail.
He's nothing but a set of abs with a famous name attached to it.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 14, 2017 5:12 AM |
[quote]Handsomer than his dad, but just not a star.
Uh no.
I mean, if we're talking about Clint CURRENTLY, then yes but Clint in his prime? Not even close.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | August 14, 2017 8:35 AM |
Clint looking so hot,so authoritative and so archetypal in "Coogan's Bluff"
Scott Eastwood is good looking but his face is characterless.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | August 14, 2017 8:49 AM |
He's totally gorgeous but it would have already happened by age 31 if it was going to happen...
by Anonymous | reply 73 | August 14, 2017 8:58 AM |
Scott has kind of a Howdy Doody thing going on at times. Sorry, but I have to give the title of most handsome to Clint and his amazing, manly ass.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | August 14, 2017 9:14 AM |

Yeah, there’s really nothing there. He’s a pretty cardboard box.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | August 14, 2017 10:16 AM |
They've already tried. It's not like he's just shown up this year, it's been quite a few years, and he's gotten almost nowhere. If he's going to be anything of note, he's going to have to do something extraordinary. Something worthy of an Oscar, or at least decent bait.
[And if he hadn't insisted on doing the Eastwood squint, in an effort to remind us of daddy, he wouldn't have aged his face an extra ten years]
by Anonymous | reply 76 | August 14, 2017 10:46 AM |
If "big Holllywood star" to you means an ABC Television career as the bachelor followed by a dancing "star," sure! He has all the qualifications: he's a generically attractive white guy and
by Anonymous | reply 77 | August 14, 2017 11:09 AM |
I don't think he'll ever reach "major star" status, mainly because he's not that great an actor.
He's attractive but he desperately needs to have work done on his teeth. He has an ugly smile with those teeth that are too small, and poorly positioned. His looks could improve significantly if he had good teeth.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | August 14, 2017 11:59 AM |
He looks more like george bush Jr than clint
by Anonymous | reply 79 | August 14, 2017 12:25 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 82 | March 23, 2018 1:37 AM |
First time I saw him I thoughts he was insanely hot.. until I saw a side profile. Dude has the most bizarrely tiny ears. It seriously looks like an optical illusion on the sides of his head. Now every time I see him, that’s all I can think of.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | March 23, 2018 2:18 AM |
He’s getting to old to make a shot at it honestly...
by Anonymous | reply 84 | March 23, 2018 2:24 AM |
He needs a big blockbuster remake of Paint Your Wagon to make it with Fraus who drag their men and the college theater queens who'll see it again and again.
Of course I'm the only person on the planet who actually likes the movie.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | March 23, 2018 4:26 AM |
He’s 31 and has eye wrinkles like that? I guess it is genetic.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | March 23, 2018 4:36 AM |
In the comparison photos Clint looks like there’s somebody home in there behind the eyes. Scott looks good but nobody is home and not much is going on behind his eyes.

Most people don’t even notice teeth unless they’re glaringly obvious. Only gays are shallow enough to care about something as minor as a few crooked teeth on a guy that looks like Scott Eastwood.
MEANWHILE, we know that YOU look like what the cat dragged in.

Here's an interview where Scott talks about his upbringing. Apparently Clint refused to lend him money to buy a car when he was broke, and punched Scott and slammed his face into a wall when he was 16.
Scott tells these stories with pride, obviously thinking that this stuff reflects well on his upbringing, but all it did was make me think that Clint is a huge asshole who probably bullied Scott in countless ways from childhood.
Anyhow, the lesson is that libertarian assholes make the worst dads, I guess.

He never made it big because he just didn’t have Charisma.
by Anonymous | reply 102 | February 17, 2021 6:18 AM |
No. No charisma. Doesn't have his father's intensity.
by Anonymous | reply 103 | February 17, 2021 8:12 AM |
I liked him in that one western (I think 'Diablo', but there's a few in the surprisingly long list of movies he's been in) -- idk if that's because I also found the twist on a traditional western story interesting, maybe giving his acting too much credit. I'd have to see him in more to have a solid opinion.
If he takes care of himself, he could still have a decent career like Paul Walker did. I didn't find him particularly characteristic either, but he worked enough for the type of casual movies he was in. He does have those looks that are either wow he's hot or not unfortunately.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | February 17, 2021 3:59 PM |
Dad wasn't a great actor either, just good timing for what was popular during his peak years. The original lead on 7 seasons of Rawhide (Eric Fleming as Gil Favor/ trailboss), was quite charismatic, earning a big movie deal, well before Clint became a bigger star. Unfortunately he died on the movie set by drowning. The 8th and final season lost viewership when Clint took over as the star lead.
Clint started out kind of goofy on that show too. His tough, silent, intense guy persona wasn't a thing until his movie career. Though ratings dropped significantly, Clint still showed more range than he did the rest of his career and with Fleming, it worked well. Probably the smartest change was when he went to movies because his wider range of acting wouldn't have been good enough to carry most types of movies. Very lucky to fit a popular trope at that time.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | February 17, 2021 5:17 PM |

Scott is good in The Outpost and other action flicks. Like his Dad, he’s awkward as a romantic lead.

R111 LOL!
by Anonymous | reply 112 | July 11, 2021 4:41 AM |
As stated upthread, doesn't posses an ounce of his father's characteristic intensity. That was Clint's calling card. He does have a goofy likeability, however, that could translate well in romcoms or light drama-comedies.
Film is a bit of a reach for him. Television would be a better fit - he'd be a shoe-in as lead for one of those episodic police/LE procedurals, a L&O-type show.

He already tried that when he had brief stints on Chicago PD and Chicago Fire years ago, and he was so mediocre they didn’t keep him.
