This is a photo of a famous film director in his early 20s. Do you recognize him?

Penny Marshall?

Yes, it is Oliver Stone.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 12, 2017 6:17 PM |
Oliver Stone still has those features.
Speaking of directors, young George Lucas was my type.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 12, 2017 6:24 PM |
Damn, Oliver Stone was hot!
Two other 70s/80s directors who were hot when they were younger: Robert Altman and Brian De Palma.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 12, 2017 6:25 PM |
John Sayles is still hot today, in a daddy way.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 12, 2017 6:34 PM |
A lot of people are hot in their youth, it's not really surprising. It takes a certain level of confidence to think you can be a director, unattractive people usually lack confidence.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 12, 2017 6:35 PM |
President James Garfield was quite fuckable in his youth.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | February 12, 2017 6:41 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 12, 2017 6:51 PM |
Didn't Oliver Stone admit to "experimenting" when he was in Vietnam?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 12, 2017 6:53 PM |
Oliver Stone was as hot as man gets in the OP's picture.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 12, 2017 6:55 PM |
Is anyone else wondering what Oliver's crotch and feet smelled like when that picture was taken?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 12, 2017 6:57 PM |
OP's pic of Oliver Stone is so hot. Just chillin' after burning down a Gook village. Fuckin' badassss!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 12, 2017 7:04 PM |
Young Bela Lugosi was pretty cute. It's hard to believe he was only 18 when this photo was taken.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 12, 2017 7:06 PM |
My theory is you can be attractive into your 50s maybe a few 60s. women can do the make up thing. so into 60s maybe but no one no matter how much money or how goodlooking they were in their youth can be "hot" after 45. it just does not happen. now a bunch of people will post brad pitt, bla bla bla but brad pitt , jonny depp, ect.. are no longer "hot" they are attractive older men, but not hot any longer
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 12, 2017 7:07 PM |
[quote]unattractive people usually lack confidence.
There's definitely something to this. Attractive people are usually confident, and their confidence only adds to their attractiveness, and their apparent "zest" for life in a kind of virtuous cycle. Unfortunate looking people often never enter into that cycle, though some do with their personalities. Hot types can barely be pulled out even if their personalities are ghastly or non-existent.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 12, 2017 7:12 PM |
I know this subject. (Attractive people) unfortunately if they use their powers for evil, its a very bad ending.....i have watched it happen time and time again. when you are attractive things come toyou without any effort , that can sometimes be a bad thing
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 12, 2017 7:16 PM |
The usuals:

Joe Biden was quite hot when he was young, his deceased son Beau Biden was equally hot.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 12, 2017 7:44 PM |
Yes! Young Joe! Definitely not as handsome later in life. Why is that, I wonder? What about his features made them not retain their attractiveness as he aged? Surely someone here knows.
He was stunning back in the day. So sad, how we are doomed to age and die. It'll get us all in the end.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 12, 2017 8:01 PM |

Oliver Stone was from a conservative, moneyed family and like a good son intended to destroy Commies when he went to war.
I know several family friends from when I was a kid who were just devastated by Nam, they went bezerk and returned the completely changed men.

Kirstie Alley was a contestant on the old Match Game show before she became a star - she also had gross jacked up teeth - before $cientology magically fixed them.

This thread is for celebs that were SURPRISINGLY hot...not ones that everybody already knows were hot like Jeff Bridges, Clint Eastwood , Russell Crowe and Kirstie Alley.
And judging by some of these choices I have to say I've haven't seen as big of "stretches" even from the U.S gymnastics team!

by Anonymous | reply 100 | February 13, 2017 9:26 PM |
R97, I put up pictures of young Eastwood because people who haven't seen his early films probably think of him as a rugged star of westerns. He was quite the pretty boy. Same reason I put up John Wayne--he was surprisingly dandy in his youth.

R100 . alcohol abuse. same with jonny depp. puffy bloated grey skin, guaranteed
by Anonymous | reply 102 | February 13, 2017 9:30 PM |
R97. Clint Eastwood was beyond beautiful. worked at a gas station on wilshire which was long ago torn down to make way for abecrombie store. thats how that old gay agent found him and then the other financier guy who also "discovered" Clint. love to know what made both these old gay men want to help clint out so much even when everyone in the business were saying he was without talent , wooden, could not act. Clint must have had some talents. God he was beautiful

Well, fuck the living shit out of you, R97. That R100 is a photo of Russell Crowe could hardly have been more SURPRISING. I had to click back three times to find out who that hot guy was. 'Cause he didn't look anything like Bloatino Crowe.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | February 13, 2017 9:35 PM |
Young Woody Allen was considered very cute and had his fair share of the fairer sex.
by Anonymous | reply 106 | February 13, 2017 9:35 PM |
R105 and others, I was about eight feet away from Russell Crowe at a premiere about two years ago. He looked pretty good, with clear skin and twinkly eyes. A sprinkling of grey in the hair and beard. Fine given his age and reputed alcohol intake.

speaking of peter beard. I had a fitness trainer referred to me by another trainer. he said he is ex actor model and he needs work badly . he just moved back to los angeles. he had this 1965 red mustang and i pulled up his profile Steve Lyon. and saw he was in movie in the 80s campus man. well, i trained with him like this was 15yrs ago. my friend was crazy about him so he started to train with him. he had alot of problems. even his mom would call me and ask what to do . i think he must have been like 40yrs old then. he always smelled bad. cause no shower at this place and as a straight guy he thought farts were funny when training me. i kinda was over his training sessions but i did help him to arrange this deal to get this money. it was a long shot. but wtihout going into detail all of a sudden with the deal i arranged.. he had $50k smart man he loaded up his two dogs and left for paris and became a very successful photographer , its kinda unbelievable but i am glad he appears to have a happy ending. not sure what he looks like now but i guess he is the peter beard of his generation

There is a huge market for these fantasies that make MGM musicals look like documentaries.

William Holden was a sexy beast before all the years of drinking took their toll.
No wonder Gloria Swanson went crazy for him.

Here's a February 2017 pic of Val Kilmer. He's no longer overweight.
by Anonymous | reply 212 | February 15, 2017 3:38 AM |
Wow, not a good look either. He must be really sick.

Maybe Gerard Butler's still marginally hot in the right light, but this is from when he was smoking hawt
by Anonymous | reply 214 | February 15, 2017 3:41 AM |
I saw Val Kilmer in a recent interview on one of those ET-type shows. He talked about doing a sequel to Top Gun.
But his voice was completely destroyed, incredibly hoarse. It wasn't explained.

Christopher Atkins from before he tried to do all the drugs in Hollywood and Palm Springs. If he had been sober for the meeting with the producers of "Footloose", his career probably would've been completely different. I heard him tell the story about how he lost that movie on one of those reality TV shows.

Has anyone seen Peter Frampton lately?
I charged a few up to his shirtless album pix in the late 70s and early 80s.

R218 isn't that Rex Smith?
by Anonymous | reply 219 | February 15, 2017 4:09 AM |
Yeah, you're right...but I probably rubbed out loads to both of them.
Here's Peter Frampton.

John Rubinstein used to be so hot.
I saw him on an episode on "This Is Us" the other night - I could only recognize him by his voice - he's an OLD man.
by Anonymous | reply 227 | February 15, 2017 4:35 AM |

You were hot piece of man meat, Hugh.

I don't remember this hot actor named Ty Hardin, but I love the way Joan Crawford is sexualizing him.
"Don't move, young man, I'm undressing you with my eyes and they don't move as quickly as they used to." Miss Joan Crawford

Val Kilmer has throat cancer. It's kind of an open secret. He was on steroids, which is why his face looked so blown up, and now he's wasting away.

Nah, I would say it's the lethal combination of those incredible blue eyes, sensuous but masculine lips and adorable chin dimple that really sells it.
Why can't men stop aging at the age this pic was taken? Handsome with a little mileage on them. IMO guys look best around that time.
by Anonymous | reply 238 | February 16, 2017 8:49 PM |
Yeah, it's too bad they can't stop aging right around here...
by Anonymous | reply 239 | February 16, 2017 9:55 PM |
I know Paul was supposed to be the "cute" Beatle, but looking at pictures of him really young, he's more goofy-looking to me than cute. I don't think he got really attractive until he got a little older, lost the baby fat and his face had more gravitas. I guess beginning in his 30s.
by Anonymous | reply 240 | February 16, 2017 11:11 PM |
I hate myself for saying this, but I would definitely suck off a young Dick Cheney.

Lucy was always beautiful. People don't really think of her that way because, with the TV show, she styled herself almost like a cartoon character, with the bright red bouffant, heavy makeup and zany facial contortions. But when you see her styled differently, you see just how pretty she really was. And as she aged, she grew into a "handsome woman" kind of face.
by Anonymous | reply 243 | February 17, 2017 12:12 AM |
I'd be happy if men stopped aging right here....still retaining some of the facial fullness, the tighter neck, leaner jawline and unbaggy eyes of youth but with enough wear and graying to give them a rakish, experienced toughness.
Not all men are into the soft, smooth skin and nubile features of youth and many YOUNG men love a handsome, sexy older man.
Unfortunately, most of us turn into spotted, sagging blobs.

R240 Paul McCartney was 26 in that picture, it's from the White Album. I think he looked best in that area 67/68. In 67 he was on a creative roll, and doing certain drugs. He got very thin, more than usual, and rather ethereal looking(except when he had the mustache).

[quote]There's definitely something to this.
That's not entirely true. I've had some ugly bosses in my day, one was so ugly I couldn't even look at him. Yet all of them were arrogant overly confident bastards. They all thought they were attractive and funny! They were also quite inept at their jobs. Yet they went about every day as if they were the hottest, most attractive, talented and self assured people on the planet.
In every instance it was truly an amazing sight to behold. I always wonder what became of those freaks, one died but the rest are still alive and possibly still tormenting their staffs!
