It's kind of amazing how long the Pam Anderson clone look has lasted. If you look at Playboy centerfolds in the 70s (and even into the 80s), the women were still fairly natural looking. At some point they all morphed into blonde airbrushed Jenny McCarthys. This is just an extension of that.

It's all one color on these rugs--white hair can look like a granny too. Cameron Diaz has highlighted blonde which is a natural look..or christie Brinkley. But Cuntway needs to chop it off

Natural blondes are usually high IQ in my experience, but then puberty comes and it becomes easier for most of them to sit back and let the many the guys who are begging do the heavy lifting. Fake blondes are a whole different world: dumb, cheap, and/or hyper ambitious.

The brunette transformed into a really bad color of "blonde" ie obviously bad dye job thing kind of seems like a signal to mean that they're more than willing to cheapen themselves for men. Kind of like those bad stripper/porn shoes. I don't think anyone actually thinks they look good. They are ugly enough styles to be demeaning. None of these conservative dyed blondes are working a Grace Kelly look. Which is also an obvious dye job aesthetic but on the opposite end of the spectrum. Agree, R32. They're signalling that they're tractable (but only to the right guy of course, i.e. that special Fox viewer). One might wonder why that's necessary on a "news" channel, but I guess we have Roger Ailes to thank for that.

The only attractive blonds on Faux News is Ashley Earhardt and the late Megan Kelley. Both are/will be getting harder looking as they age, but neither will ever be as ugly as KAC or Ann Coulter.

I remember Kellyane as a talking head on FNC when I used to watch it while at my parents' house. This was 20 years ago and she was Kellyanne Fitzpatrick. She was never a beauty, but she was way less crispy looking and she wasn't quite so thin.

Aside from Megan Kelly most of these women mentioned have the quintissential "hair color from a box" style. This is the type of hair color that is done by mistake at home with supplies from WalMart by someone who doesn't know better. It's the hair version on "Lee Press-On Nails." Extra strange because these women are in the public eye for a living. Getting their hair color done professionally would be easily done. Most stylists would balk at or even refuse to let one of their clients leave the chair like this. Don't blame the gays for it unless you're insinuating it's a practical joke.

R35: Found this from 20 years ago. The clothes are so different! She's not dressed like a housewives warrioress whore! She's got frizzy hair no matter what. She probably tried to straighten it and it looked much better smooth for five minutes until it turned into an extra crispy slice of bacon.

They actually pay a lot of money for these dye jobs. I doubt any of them uses box hair color. It is very common to be a blonde as a child, but unless you are Nordic, it goes into an ashy brown color during the teen years. Stripping and dying it blonde makes it look brassy because most people have red undertones that come through. Even if you get the cool blonde look, it will be a fried mess eventually. I don’t think straight men actually prefer this look, unless they’re really dumb. They like sexy brunettes and they aren’t that into heavy makeup. They do like tans and boobs and long legs and all types of women as long as they are pretty. I worked in an office full of straight men and heard them talking all the time. Many of them like the Jane Birken type—waif like and brunette with blue eyes.
