Who wants to leave the USA for a bubble in Nice.?
Tasteful friends: Pierre Cardin's house for sale.

Gee, I wonder why they had a $100,000,000.00 price drop.

Pierre Cardin designed the interior of my first fucks 76 Camaro. It had bold wavy stripes, soiled now I imagine.

The exterior is the stuff of nightmares, hideous beyond belief.
The interior seems completely devoid of privacy.

The asking price for the property is half of his net worth.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 1, 2016 8:51 PM |
There is something kinda seductive about it.

Looks like a disease.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 9, 2020 6:13 AM |
Well, isn’t that . . . special.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 9, 2020 6:13 AM |
An amphitheater might come in handy. You never know.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 9, 2020 6:14 AM |
Looks like a cool vacation resort, but I think the novelty would quickly wear off as a private home.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 9, 2020 6:25 AM |
I hate it, I actually loathe it!
I don't understand why I have such strong negative feelings about it, but I do. There's something repellent in the photos.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 9, 2020 6:27 AM |
this is hideous, i'm sorry.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 9, 2020 6:36 AM |
Interiors.
I like them better than I expected.

one word:
Bulldozer

When I was a kid in my doctor's office he had a cut away plastic model of a human intestinal tract that looked just like this. From the bowels of Nice we present the asshole house...
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 9, 2020 6:47 AM |
It could be rented for short term stays until recently: $31,000/night.

Palais Bulles is not in Nice, OP. It's in Théoule-sur-Mer, west of Cannes.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 9, 2020 7:02 AM |
Yup, I loathe the interior just as much as I loathe the outside!
What a creepy place.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 9, 2020 7:53 AM |
Somewhere on Tatooine....
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 9, 2020 8:11 AM |
I love it.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 9, 2020 8:16 AM |
Tattooine Nouveau Riche!

A nearby observatory designed by the same architect.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 9, 2020 8:35 AM |
It gives me the creeps. I get itchy just looking at it.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 9, 2020 9:23 AM |
It's certainly an odd building complex, but the interiors and views are more appealing than one might first assume, based just on the exterior shots.
Seems like the kind of place that would be cool for a weekend or a house party.
Of course, I wouldn't drop $100 million on it.

[quote] I get itchy just looking at it.
It reminds me of a bad case of chicken pox I got when I was 12.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 11, 2020 7:13 AM |
Very fungal on the outside, very Star Trek: The Next Generation on the inside.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 11, 2020 7:33 AM |
Very singular very cool - not enough veneer or neo-classical or faux Georgian details for the commenters upthread. So unimaginative as a group.

Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen are buried on the property
