Bruce was one of my first crushes as a young teenager. I had a raging boner for him in The Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, in the latter of which he spends a significant amount of time in a half-torn shirt, exposing his hairy chest and abdomen. I rubbed quite a few out thinking of him. A gorgeous man, and by all accounts, very kind in person.

He is still an attractive older man. I've always thought he looked like he could be Matt Dillon's older brother. He possesses a similar strong jawline.

He apparently showed his ass in the recent Ash vs. Evil Dead series (around 2015), and he looked hunky and hot. It's hard to tell if it was actually him though; it could have been a body double. I remember he'd gained a bit of weight when he was on Burn Notice, but he appears to have lost it in the past few years.

I loved that series Beggars and Choosers. I don't know why it never caught on. Tuc Watkins and Brian Kerwin.....2 gorgeous men! And Gary Dourdain (sp?), a hot mess but a a hot man!!

Most of the cast was Canadian because it was filmed there. Is Bruce Canadian?

I'm not sure why it ended R18, but I recently listened to Christina Hendricks's interview on Marc Maron's podcast, and she basically said that the lead actress on the show (she didn't name her, but it was Charlotte Ross) was a fucking cunt to everybody—even Carol Kane. Ross also no longer has a career, so it's nice to know there is some justice in the world. I didn't even know Bruce was on that show, let alone playing a gay man. I'll have to track that down. I'll always be up for seeing Bruce Campbell kiss a man.

There is a sex scene with him and another man (played by Tuc Watkins) in it IIRC. You can see it in some screen caps on this website, albeit in low quality. I can't tell for certain, but it appears Watkins is riding Bruce cowboy style in bed.

He is classically handsome and was beautiful in the first two Evil Dead films—he was even hotter when he bulked up a bit for Army of Darkness. A gorgeous man.

I don’t want to get into an argument over a 20 year old cancelled show, but Hendricks was talking about Charlotte Ross. Isabelle Hoffman might have been second billed (probably because she’d just come off a few seasons of DEAR JOHN) but she was still mostly just the “wife” on B&C.

My esteem of Bruce Campbell went up a lot after seeing him in his role here—not a lot of straight actors were signing on for gay love scenes 20 years ago.
