Desi was very good looking while he was on Here's Lucy, he was 15 or 16 when he started. He got fairly good reviews, and got a swollen head and left the show.

Both kids were better looking than their parents, Lucy's white background took the rough edges off of Desi's Latin background (Look at Lorenzo Lamas as another similar result).

Desi Jr hit the skids fast and like his father (unlike the Lamases) he was prone to being chubby which hurt a lot.

Lucie seems to be the most level headed of anyone involved with Lucille Ball. She accepts her failures and doesn't make excuses for herself or her family while defending their good points.
