I tried to use a 90's legitimate word to describe them but you know who I'm talking about: Who were/are your favorite guys of the 90's and the era specific shows they were in (90's sitcoms, the action-fantasy TV series revival, Western comedies, etc.)?
I like the sunny, cheesy beefcake vibe of the "Hercules" series and Kevin Sorbo in it. I miss that kind of goofy optimism found in the 90's tv of my childhood.

Sasha Mitchell, nice Jewish boy.
Has hardly acted at all in recent years.

Let's go with MTV Host extraordinaire Simon Rex.

Simon Rex for sure.
Brendan Fraser
Dean Cain
I know it probably doesn't count, but all of those gorgeous guys that were in the Bel Ami videos. In retrospect, I think I like the more cute but normal guys in American porn from the eighties and nineties, but I never saw such beautiful men in porn before. They were pretty enough to be Calvin Klein models.

I concur.
The 90s seemed to usher in the "super model" look in gay porn. Especially compared to the 70s and 80s.

Keanu Reeves (circa SPEED)

Ulf Ekberg (Ace of Base neo-Nazi; again, not proud but he is beautiful)
AJ Hammer (has he ever come out?)
Matthew Perry (early years of Friends)

I didn't know about his crime. Against family, that is rather disappointing. The article is dated 2010. I wonder if he became anyone's bitch boy during his 2 years in the pen. And I was wrong about it being the 90s, he was popular in the 80s. Yikes, how time flies.
by Anonymous | reply 188 | February 26, 2016 4:28 PM |
Poor Scott- actually, what a SOB. I'm sure that many, many inmates were happy to teach him a lesson though. I swear that he still was in those ads in the early 90s also. It seemed like they were black and white film then (popular in advertising and music videos at the time).

Another vote for the luscious William McNamara, though the photo at r141 shows a disappointingly flat butt. And the link up thread to the gracefully aging—almost Clooneyesque—Michael Bergin as an LA real estate agent is an eye-opener. Let's remember his status as a DL icon for his cathartic memoir of his tempestuous life with Carolyn Bissette.
by Anonymous | reply 192 | February 26, 2016 5:59 PM |
I spilled so much splooge over Scott Madsen that I could have populated the entire Eastern seaboard. My father worked for a newspaper, and he'd bring home review books. When he had the exercise book with Madsen on the cover, I tore it from his hands hungrily. He gave me a knowing look when I did. Not sure if he was bothered or not. Anyway, my fuck buddy and I used that book and the images of Madsen in our teenage fantasy sessions. Ah, to be young and hot and gay...

R195, I was a teenage boy and I lunged at a book with a half dressed man on the cover. He knew I didn't want it for exercise ideas.

He never said anything one way or the other. And no, I don't think he's gay. Could have been bi when he was younger though. Who knows?

To me, JFK Jr was not just a hunk, he was simply the most beautiful sexy man of the entire 20th century. Wish he had lived a bit longer, he had more greatness left in him.
