Wild, Wild, West and Robert Conrad in his tight pants and leather chaps, totally did it for me. However Artemus Gordon was a boner killer for me, God I hated him and his stupid over acting.

I never allowed myself to get one as there was ALWAYS someone around and I was terrified of anyone finding out I was gay. I held it all in, until bedtime when it would come gushing out!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 7, 2016 8:48 PM |
Oh and power rangers did it for me. yeah thats right, the red ranger was always some hot jock dude.

Wednesday night wrestling, loved watching the guys in speedos getting thrown around the ring, sometimes you could see them getting boners.

The Monkees
Battle of the Network Stars
The summer & Winter Olympics, when ABC broadcast them
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 7, 2016 8:58 PM |
Emergency! but it was Kevin Tighe, not Randy Mantooth that gave me a boner.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 7, 2016 9:09 PM |
another photo of Kevin Tighe. I liked redheads then and now. He was some shade of redneadedness, sort of reddish blonde I guess.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 7, 2016 9:13 PM |
Totally Wild Wild West. But I agree with R1. Artemis Gordon was a boner-killer. He also wore tight pants, but on his misshapen body they looked so wrong. Wrong,
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 7, 2016 9:16 PM |
R12, Sable's furs were to die for, but it was shirless Maxwell Caulfield who made the blood rush to my happy member.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 7, 2016 9:18 PM |
I know I'm insane, but I used to like watching Starsky & Hutch just to see Paul Michael Glazer in his tight blue jeans. I thought Robert Blake was sexy in Baretta, too. You don't have to point out how much you disagree with me, that's okay.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 7, 2016 9:24 PM |
^^^ I watched Starsky & Hutch for the bulge and the chest hair. I beat off to the Paul Michael Glaser TV Guide cover. I also watched Emergency, with the constant hope that they would somehow reveal Robert Fuller to be hairy.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 7, 2016 9:27 PM |
The original Superman series starring George Reeves gave me a boner when I was 5 years old.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 7, 2016 9:33 PM |
shame Fuller always had those long lab coats on during Emergency, when Laramie and Wagon Train showed how well he worked tight jeans.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 7, 2016 9:44 PM |
Robert Conrad ala Wild Wild West owns this thread for 1,000 years.

Late 60s Gerry and Sylvia Anderson scifi series UFO. Imagine a remake using those uniforms with the fitness level of today's actors.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 7, 2016 10:19 PM |
Lee Majors in The Six Million Dollar Man and in reruns on Saturday afternoons as Heath Barkley in The Big valley (until his hot leather-vest wearing brother Nick [Peter Breck] got to me). Lyle Waggoner on The Carol Burnett Show and as Major Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman Grant Goodeve in Eight is Enough
The Olympic Games and tennis matches. In the late seventies and early eighties, tennis players still wore tight, white shorts...so much sexier than today's outfits. And, since it's Super Bowl Sunday, when I was a kid there would be classic movies on some other channel. I wasn't all that interested in football then, but I fell hard for some movie actors. I remember getting all tingly watching John Kodiak in Lifeboat. Perhaps I was in the larva stage before becoming a full blown gay man!

"Maya," with Jay North and Sajid Khan. There was one episode, I'm not sure which one, where they went skinnydipping, and that thrilled me and made me feel "funny like" down there.

Doug McClure
Ben Murphy (and now Peter Duel would as well - but as a kid was focused on Ben.
This one is more obscure Lee Horsley in Matt Houston and to an even shorter lived Nero Wolfe series right before that. While Matt Houston might not have been the first times I had feelings, I think it might have been the show where I put two and two together on a more conscious level.

by Anonymous | reply 44 | March 3, 2021 12:07 AM |
Wild Wild West. Absolutely.
Artemus Gordon should never have worn the same tight pants that Robert Conrad wore perfectly, but Conrad was getting so much adoration for his extraordinary butt that Gordon insisted the costume designers make the same kind of clothes for him. Apparently he truly believed his body was as good as Conrad's. People can talk themselves into anything.

Sea Hunt with Lloyd Bridges and his splendid physique
Route 66 with George Maharis and his beautiful ass sending homoerotic vibes on the road with his comely bud.

GIL GERARD AS BUCK ROGERS!...
ROBERT CONRAD BOTH in the wild wild west show and his decade later show "black sheep squadron" where he would wear his khaki pants (not his 1 piece jumper but his uniform pants) so so tight you could actually see his "panty lines' of his underwear as clear as day and his pants looked LITERALLY spray painted on! CAN ANYONE IMAGINE HOW TIGHT THOSE KHAKI PANTS made of thicker material have to be to see underwear lines?! incredible...i think i actually prefer conrad's ass in black sheep squadron over his ass in his wild wild west days... during WWE, his ass was smaller, shapely and "pert".... whereas in black sheep squadron his ass was bigger, muscled, more "manly"....
i second everyone else's comments (batman, 6 million dollar man, sea hunt, magnum p.i.etc) and of course THE ONE AND ONLY CLINT WALKER IN CHEYENNE...
I WOULD ALSO make mention of the other hot men of the 60's westerns like sexy robert horton! pretty boy doug mcclure! rugged built masculine william smith...and hugh o'brian too!..
by Anonymous | reply 75 | March 3, 2021 5:40 PM |
R58 I hear you! Those early seasons had a lot of shirtless guys running in loose shorts & sweats 🍆👀. Flip Rodriguez was a feast for the eyes. Seems like now the cameras aren't as... generous? They never show close ups above the waistline now.

The Real World. Was 11 when it premiered and those guys were my bread & butter, I definitely "discovered" some "feelings" during those first few seasons. MTV in general. Watching all those "Club MTV" shows, "The Grind" etc. The shooting break & summer shows where it was just a sea of college kids dancing in swimwear.

Yes to many already noted, but also James Naughton in the TV series 'Planet of the Apes.' This particular episode (link) was teen JO heaven. Thank the gods I had the den to myself that night!
Years later, after seeing Naughton in 'City of Angels' on Broadway, I made him laugh in the fan line after the show when I asked him to sign an old 'Apes' publicity photo; he did sign it, and a Playbill.

Thanks to this thread, I’ve Identified Kent McCord in both “Adam12” and “Galactica”.
