When I first saw a Realtor.com commercial (linked), I thought I recognized the actress in it, but it took me several viewings to conclude "WTF is Parker Posey doing this kind of an ad and what did she do to her hair?" I Googled her and, sure enough, she turned up in a recent NY Times article as a blonde. I was complaining to a friend about the tendency for the industry to turn women blonde even if it doesn't suit them and mentioned Posey and the commercial. He informed that it's Elizabeth Banks. Fuck, they're practically doppelgangers now, snark and all. Or maybe I'm going blind...
Why did Parker Posey go and have to dye her hair blonde?

I agree.
I'm not sure that it's the 'industry' though.

You're right about Posey. In her case, it is probably her quirkiness. At the time, I thought she was trying to become more mainstream hence the hair and the commercial, but I totally misidentified her!

Because she is a grade A cunt.

It really doesn't suit her and it looks fried.

I'm sure she's just bored but Posey is the perfect brunette. She's like a Louise Brooks; it's part of an entire look for her that's perfect. With dark hair, she's a particular kind of beauty. Blonde, she's a non-descript, pretty girl.

Why am I reading a thread about Parker Posey's hair?

I thought she should've played Kate Hepburn in that Aviator movie with Leo Di. On the show Louie, he did a video of close-ups on Parker's face, and she looked like Kate's twin.

R6 You tell us. Why? Is it filling some profound feeling of loss in your soul?

R7 She has that same kind of look. I always thought Hepburn looked like Louise Brooks, too. And Amelia Earhart. It's a very, particular look.

OP, she didn't dye her hair, she bleached it. That's how it got lighter.

Oh, God...I'm back here reading this again.

Isn't it bleaching first then dying to add the color?

I would kill a puppy for the chance to bang either one of them. And by "bang" I mean put my penis in either or both of their vaginas.

Elizabeth Banks.
This thread has some kind of drug in it R11/R6. Can't believe I'm posting about it either.

What's got you so uptight that you're bumping three-year-old threads, R13?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 22, 2018 2:00 PM |
Many women want to do the blonde thing at some time in their lives.
