Love the guy. Nobody dishes on vintage stars like DL. What is there to say about him?
Yves Montand

What is there to say about him? He had an affair with Edith Piaf when he was young. I think she helped his career. He started his career as a singer and then got into movies. He never really made it in America. He was married to the long-suffering Simone Signoret and the marriage lasted until her death, despite his constant philandering.
He was considered to oh so sexy and attractive, but I never thought he was. Apparently Marilyn Monroe did; he's probably best known for his affair with her during the making of that terrible movie "Let's Make Love." By all accounts (except for Donald Spoto's, and you can't put much faith in anything HE says) she was crazy about him. She thought they were in love and that he would leave Simone for her. He didn't. She was crushed by his rejection.
After his death, his body was exhumed because some girl said he was her father. DNA testing showed he wasn't.

Paris shut down for his funeral, no? Are any of his French detective films any good? He was pretty darned gorgeous when he was younger.

Did Yves have sizemeat?

Belmondo and Delon were hotter French actors to me than Montand, but he has some great classics in his filmography. The Wages of Fear, for one, remains my favorite film from Montand.

His reaction shots while Barbra is singing in "On a Clear Day" always make me laugh: He looks like a dumbfounded turtle.

He does have a few genuine classic films -- Wages of Fear; Z; Jean de Florette; Manon of the Spring. And he's actually quite good in Grand Prix.
Of French actors, however, he's simply not in the league of, say, Jean Gabin, Jean-Louis Trintignant, Alain Delon, Jean-Paul Belmondo, etc.

Yves Montand is really Italian not French. His family moved to France when he was young. His real name is Ivo Livi. His father was Jewish and his mom was Catholic.

I think he's actually pretty funny in some of Let's Make Love. That scene where they bring in Milton Berle to teach him how to land a joke is hysterical.

Jewish-Italian = CIZEMEAT CITY!

Yes, the very idea just screams "hilarious" to me!

His grandson went on to host the French version of Big Brother. He wrote a tell-all book Grandpa dearest, where he claims the French-Italian lover abused his own stepdaughter (grandson's mother).

Wait, he might have been his step-grandson then. Anyway.

10 years ago his stepdaughter (Signoret's daughter with Yves Allegret) said he molested her when she was 4 years old during a bath. Apparently it was a one time thing but then she can't remember if he did try at another time. Hard to have an opinion when the guy's been dead for years but I don't see why she would lie.

Supposedly his underwear with shit stains are in the Louvre.

Was it Belmondo who was the Nazi ?

No the smegma from his uncut cock is in the cheese selection at The Louvre.

If his father was Jewish, would he be uncut?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | September 15, 2015 6:29 PM |
He was uncut. Just ask Barbara(real name) Streisand. Contrary to popular belief she was fascinated with uncut members.

Love his performance in "The Wages of Fear", which is a great movie. He was exceptionally gorgeous. Marilyn Monroe was lucky if she got that dick.
