Well people knew exactly how AIDS was spread back then. It was not a secret and it was through homosexual sex and through promiscuity and unprotected sex in the homosexual male community that spread the virus. It began in the USA by some male flight attendant ( I forget his name) who had an unbelievable number of sexual partners, he, as you can imagine flew all over the USA and met many men. After it spread like wild fire through the homosexual community and they were told to not be promiscuous, they ignored that advice and continued with anonymous, unprotected, promiscuous sex.

Even in African countries where people like to claim it started as a heterosexual disease that is not true, it was started among closeted homosexual men who were married, but on the down low and they gave it to their g/f's and wives. In Africa homosexuality is way more frowned upon than in other countries, as that you can go to prison when caught in homosexual acts, so do you think homosexual men, back then, even now would be open about their homosexuality?

Apparently, everyone, the general public, knew even by the 50s/60s. I guess he was so handsome and popular, he somehow got a pass.

Don't you people remember the boyfriend who sued his estate because Rock was having unprotected sex with him after Rock knew he was HIV+? Jeez, it was all over the press and tabs. I believe the the estate settled with him. He had unprotected sex after finding out he was HIV+, and yes, at the we knew at was passed through sex. That is what the comment was about.

R13 well to be fair next to no research had been done at the time and even if the government had assured use your could only contract it a certain way, given how little had been done at that point, would you have necessarily believed them?

Big time liar, Marc Christian. Talked about how traumatized he was by Rock and hadn't been with anyone since. And the very week he was trying to get his settlement, he was with a friend of mine fucking away in Laurel Canyon. I begged my buddy to call the lawyers but no fucking way was H going to be caught up in that -- the whole slant was Marc was the badly treated potential AIDS victim who was lied to.
