What did the hottest person in your high school graduating class end up doing with his or her life?

Did the gorgeous looks translate to success? Share your stories here. Thanks.

by Anonymousreply 209June 12, 2018 5:45 PM

President of the class was the only black guy of 300 students. Also gay with a lisp. He is some big shot in administration of a NYC hospital now at about age 59. A fine man.

by Anonymousreply 1February 8, 2015 4:21 AM

Oh, he wasn't the hotest, just the "most likely to succeed".

by Anonymousreply 2February 8, 2015 4:22 AM

His Dad's Construction Biz, Wife, kids, breeder spread.

Soooooooo sad, at 18 he could give you a boner with a smile, at 45 he's fat and pasty.

by Anonymousreply 3February 8, 2015 4:24 AM

The one in my class was the hottest and also black. He became a successful corporate big wig and is a multimillionaire

by Anonymousreply 4February 8, 2015 4:25 AM

Quarterback who married the captain of the cheerleader squad. Was a pothead and alcoholic. Dived into a pool with not enough water and became a quadriplegic. Died last year.

by Anonymousreply 5February 8, 2015 4:26 AM

That is sad R5.

by Anonymousreply 6February 8, 2015 4:27 AM

Shit R5 that's kind of sad.

by Anonymousreply 7February 8, 2015 4:27 AM

The hottie I had a crush on in High School became a doctor. The last I heard he went to the Jamaica for his internship. I jerked off to fantasies of rimming him, sucking his cock and fucking the shit out of him.

Unfortunately, if I saw him today I would probably not want to do any of those things to him. Honestly, I don't even know if he's alive at this point. I've tried tracking him down and can't find a single trace of his existence online, which is very odd.

by Anonymousreply 8February 8, 2015 4:29 AM

Basketball star, though he was too short. He was sexy, with blond hair and an ass that looked hairless at age 16 due to the blond hair. He used to dribble his ball by my house every day at 4 pm. He is an assistant principle of a junior high, though I wasn't aware he could string a sentance together. He still has the same haircut, at age 50.

by Anonymousreply 9February 8, 2015 4:31 AM

His name is Clay. Most gorgeous man I have ever seen at 18 not bad looking now at 50. He lives in some shack on a river in South Carolina and fishes all day. He was never comfortable with the attention his looks got him, but he wasn't much more than a pretty face.

by Anonymousreply 10February 8, 2015 4:32 AM

Became a bigshot at Enron. Lost everything when that collapsed, and by most accounts was lucky to stay out of jail. Has dropped off the face of the earth since then.

by Anonymousreply 11February 8, 2015 4:52 AM

He became a celebrated stage, film and TV star that has been drooled over endlessly on DL.

by Anonymousreply 12February 8, 2015 5:20 AM

No idea, I haven't kept up with people from my hometown. But a beautiful girl I went to college with works at Vogue now, which I learned from the good ol' NYSD.

by Anonymousreply 13February 8, 2015 5:29 AM

She became a Tony and Oscar nominated actress.

by Anonymousreply 14February 8, 2015 5:31 AM

I have never been able to google him, and he has a very unusual last name. I find nothing about him online, so my guess is he died young and stayed pretty. Another guy from that gang of friends became a street hustler in Manhattan, if you get what I mean.

by Anonymousreply 15February 8, 2015 5:34 AM

Married early and now has three kids and is a stay at home mother.

by Anonymousreply 16February 8, 2015 5:36 AM

The hottest blonde, white girl is still hot, married well with three kids and has moved to CT where she lives an outdoorsy high end, yoga-frau life with the executive husband. She does not work. The hottest non-white girl is even hotter, but has had trouble finding a good man; she is unmarried and has a PR career in the Industry. The hottest guy is going gray and has gained weight. He is successful, healthy looking, and into his boat. (There were very few non-white guys at my school and no hot ones.)

by Anonymousreply 17February 8, 2015 5:52 AM

All through middle school and into high school I had a crush on this kid named Marc. He was so hot and quite popular. He was not only a jock (he played football, ice hockey, and baseball), but he was also an honors student. Needless to say, he was quite popular. I was a loner with no friends who ate lunch in the bathroom stall, so all I could do was admire from afar.

His family moved out of state in the middle of freshman year, so I never saw him again. However, I found him on Facebook last year and discovered that not only does he still look phenomenal at 35, but he's now a mechanical engineer and lives in Florida. (He went to Virginia Tech and got his MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.) He's also married to a beautiful Brazilian woman and they have a cute girl together.

I didn't request him because I don't think he'd remember me. Not that we said much to each other before, just a few classes together 20 years ago. All I could do was admire from afar again. It just doesn't seem fair. He has always led a charmed life. Meanwhile, I experienced every type of abuse and have had a hard time adjusting to life and have spent my adult years institutionalized and am now on disability because I can't hold down a job. And I still don't have friends. My adoptive parents are out of my life as well.

Who thought up this system of the haves and the have-nots anyway?

by Anonymousreply 18February 8, 2015 6:19 AM

I didn't think he was the hottest one, but he was the one all the girls lusted after. He's now a real estate agent, and to be honest, he has aged well, still looks handsome 35 years later.

by Anonymousreply 19February 8, 2015 6:27 AM

The taste on this site is so bad that it's a meaningless question. I can almost guarantee that the ones labeled hottest weren't nearly the hottest.

by Anonymousreply 20February 8, 2015 6:33 AM

The one who was probably the best-looking and most popular is now a very trashy mother of four in her 40s. She sounds really old because she is a heavy smoker and drinker. Her voice is alarmingly raspy and tired-sounding, from the cigs/booze. She's in mortgages or something and got fat and ugly (everyone gains weight, but when you're the best in the class and become ugly, it's a dramatic shift). She does scandalous things in her marriage like swinging and then gets upset when her husband goes behind her back to continue fucking the other women.

I was not the most popular in high school and it makes me feel great that my imperfect life is so much better and more appealing to me than Ms. Popularity's.

by Anonymousreply 21February 8, 2015 6:52 AM

Most of the people who were considered "hot" in my school still look exactly the same (maybe less hair and more weight). I have realized though via Facebook that what makes you attractive at 16 doesn't always translate to being striking at 30. The people who are the most attractive now were, for the most part, considered average when we were teenagers. They grew up and came into their own.

by Anonymousreply 22February 8, 2015 6:57 AM

I come from rugged country. "Gay" wasn't in our vocabularies. People were surprisingly liberal in their politics. Back then, it wasn't such a big surprise, however. Most of the townspeople were highly educated, and were very tolerant of anyone different. Some went to universities like Harvard.

There were quite a few extra-ordinarily good-looking guys and gals. Mostly whites. It would be five years before I learned about homosexuality. We were wary of being labeled as such, back in those days.

Just about all of the hot guys have had success in life.

by Anonymousreply 23February 8, 2015 7:23 AM

It was me, actually. And yes, I'm sure. No question about that. I had to date. Ugh. No one knew I was gay, pretty odd because I worried it was obvious, but everyone has been amazed when they found out/figured it out later.

I went on to max college, did some grad school. Got a low-level job and rose rapidly to a substantial position. Kept very little touch with my high school classmates, though I've learned most knew of my success. None knew what a whore I was.

Got fed up with my company and quit a month after my 40th birthday. Haven't worked a minute since. I'll be 70 next month. Hot? Until 50, yes. Now I look like total shit.

by Anonymousreply 24February 8, 2015 7:34 AM

He moved to Los Angeles, got married, had a series of low paying jobs and got laid off a lot.

by Anonymousreply 25February 8, 2015 7:46 AM

The drugged out handsome hippie in my class, who ran over and killed a little girl in his junior year, eventually joined the marines and then graduated from Wesleyan in Ct.

by Anonymousreply 26February 8, 2015 7:47 AM

Wow, R24, that means you were born in 1945. If you think about it, when you were born, people who were 70 that year were born in 1875. That's just a total mindfuck for a millenial like myself who barely remembers the 90s. But when you were born or a small child (like me in the '90s) there were still people alive who were born just ten years after the Civil War -- or even avid the conflict (if they were in their 80s or 90s).

by Anonymousreply 27February 8, 2015 7:53 AM

Hottest guy was one of the drama club guys. Tall, Italian, beautifull eyes, hot body. I was too afraid to even talk to him. He has been working on a cruise ship doing something in entertainment since after high school. He lost his looks by about 35, and now at 50 looks like a sickly old man and has a better than everyone attitude.

Hottest girl was this really tall, bookworm, glasses wearing girl. There was just something about her that you couldn't stop looking at her. She was painfully shy but her and I became friends over books. She disappeared after college. Moved away and no one really heard from her. Never came back for reunions. I wrote a few times but our letters slowly ended. Saw her last year when her mother died and she came back home. Shes even more beautiful, still painfully shy and still with a book in her purse. I googled her and found out she's outrageously successful.

by Anonymousreply 28February 8, 2015 7:55 AM

Private prep school that regularly makes the top ten lists.

Hottest guy who was an Olympic level decathlete is now the development director there.

Hottest girl became a lawyer, had serious mental health issues and flamed out, and now writes poetry when she isn't downing psychotropics by the handful

I became a medical school professor and was never hot.

We're all turning 53 this year.

by Anonymousreply 29February 8, 2015 10:17 AM

Sounds cliche-ish but true...

The hottest guy, Jay, went on to become a Navy Topgun pilot. He came to the reunion in uniform and I could have cum in my pants. He was every bit as hot as in high school.

The hottest girl, Laura, went to Europe and became a ski pro. She, too, kept her good looks and was gorgeous at the reunion.

Interestingly, Jay and Laura both were single.

by Anonymousreply 30February 8, 2015 10:32 AM

He became an engineer. Wife, three daughters. He's still friends with my brother. He kind of turned into his dad, looks wise. Balding, but still handsome. But man was I hot for him when we were in school - he was the perfect jock. If I was meeting him for the first time today, I wouldn't think anything of him.

by Anonymousreply 31February 8, 2015 10:39 AM

That's the funny thing with DL, you all are so old. It's good to have that perspective.

Hottest guy in my class is now a doctor - orthopedic surgeon. Didn't think he was all that smart, but he went to a US med school. Started losing his hair in his mid 20s and while he's not fat, he's not one of those handsome bald guys

Hottest girl married a guy who seems to do okay- lawyer at small firm. They live in a nice burb but not one of the really posh ones. She does some kind of PT sales job from home.

Agree that what makes someone hot at 17 doesn't always translate at 35. Often the hot guys in high school hit puberty early. The guys who barely shaved back then often came into their own in their 20s and have the advantage of looking young now that they are mid-30s

Lots of Hollywood heartthrobs fit that pattern-- they could play teens at 25 but look great at 40

by Anonymousreply 32February 8, 2015 10:42 AM

R28, I'd kill to see a photo of her. Who does she look like, and what job is she so successful in?

by Anonymousreply 33February 8, 2015 10:50 AM

Died in fight over a very stupid argument.

by Anonymousreply 34February 8, 2015 10:57 AM

The hottest guy has had several trophy wives, has run several nutritional supplement scams, and has fucked up his face with plastic surgery.

by Anonymousreply 35February 8, 2015 11:04 AM

This thread is depressing.

by Anonymousreply 36February 8, 2015 11:07 AM

The hottest guy did NOT age well at all. In high school he was a pouty-lipped football player with gorgeous blue eyes, high cheekbones, a shaved head and muscular body. He was in a bunch of remedial classes, so we never ever crossed paths except for the brief moment I played football freshman year. He's now in his early 30s, bald, slightly overweight and workimg at a Ford plant.

I still remember the day I was standing behind him at the water fountain (unaware it was him) and he turned around, looked me in the eyes, cracked a smile and said "Sorry" because he bumped into me!

The second hottest guy (a close tie for first) became a doctor! He was taller and smarter than the hottest guy, so a lot of the girls and gay guys seemed to prefer him...I thought he was a douchebag though. I was friends with his cousin, who was easily the least popular person in our class (she was fat and overweight...but I had a Mother Teresa complex.)

by Anonymousreply 37February 8, 2015 11:15 AM

Fat AND overweight, eh? Well she was lucky to have such a generous friend!

by Anonymousreply 38February 8, 2015 11:21 AM

Do you suppose these "hottest people from high school" regard themselves that way?

by Anonymousreply 39February 8, 2015 11:24 AM

r21 you went to school with kyle richards???

by Anonymousreply 40February 8, 2015 11:27 AM

Sorry, she was fat and OBNOXIOUS...occasionally downright mean.

by Anonymousreply 41February 8, 2015 11:31 AM

R27 -- hold onto your hat.

My father was born before WWI (b. 1913, war declared in 1914) and his father, my grandfather, was born 12 years after the Civil War (1877).

In fact all four of my grandparents were born in the late 1800s (1877, 1890, 1891, & 1897).

by Anonymousreply 42February 8, 2015 11:33 AM

Got into drugs...tipped over a couple of tombstones...twenty five years later he works at IHOP in Des Moines.

by Anonymousreply 43February 8, 2015 11:42 AM

I've got another one that will blow r27's mindhole: my great-grandma lived until I was almost 14 years old. She was born in the late 1800s, and was lucid when she died. She had many great-grandkids and some great-great grandkids in her lifetime.

I have some of her dad's photos and letters from the late 1800s when he was a dapper bachelor. She said that "people were nicer to each other" in her youth.

by Anonymousreply 44February 8, 2015 11:46 AM

R42/R44 that's impressive. My grandparents were born in 1940/1941 and parents in 1965/1968, so they're mere babes by comparison. We had a close family friend we lovingly called "Auntie" Phyllis and she died 4 years ago at age 100 (b. 1911). I used to love talking to her about her childhood/teens in the 1910s/1920s. She said her father had a car that needed to be cranked to get it started, and she said someone played the organ/piano at the movies, which were silent. She didn't seem to have an opinion of Rudolph Valentino, who died when she was 15 in 1926. I asked her about him because I wanted to know if teen girls went gaga over handsome movie stars then, too. I didn't ask her about the 1930s of '40s because I didn't care about her twenties and beyond. (I was only 17 when she died.)

Another thing that blew my mind was that President John Tyler (b. 1790) who was president in the early 1840s (twenty years BEFORE the Civil War) still has two living grandsons! They're both in their eighties and it will be such a travesty when they pass. I mean, imagine having a grandfather who was born the same year George Washington became president!!!

by Anonymousreply 45February 8, 2015 12:10 PM

Of the hottest guys, one is an executive with a credit card company and the other is an international relations advisor for the government.

Of the hottest girls, one is a teacher trainer and university lecturer, the other markets an energy drink for a living.

by Anonymousreply 46February 8, 2015 12:18 PM

I got one for ya. My father was 70 when I was born in 1956.

by Anonymousreply 47February 8, 2015 1:52 PM

Most them have really good jobs now. My school had strict rules about grades. So, good looks plus intelligence = guaranteed success.

by Anonymousreply 48February 8, 2015 1:56 PM

Well no horseless carriage for your dad's baby buns, r47.

by Anonymousreply 49February 8, 2015 2:10 PM

R18, I'm sorry to hear you've had it so hard. I hope things get easier for you.

by Anonymousreply 50February 8, 2015 2:46 PM

the mayor of a town near where i live

by Anonymousreply 51February 8, 2015 2:52 PM

I don't know. I left and never looked back.

by Anonymousreply 52February 8, 2015 2:53 PM

The one everyone else considered the hottest acted like a complete idiot (he won "Biggest Airhead" in the yearbook), but even so he created some sort of patent on an anti-perspirant for people who sweat too much, and made a lot of money. He gives money to the Tea Party and to attack ads against Democrat candidates. He's still handsome.

The one I thought was the hottest was a male prostitute in high school. He never went to college, and reputedly did a little bit of porn (though I've never seen it) and contracted the HIV virus and died at 26 of AIDS.

by Anonymousreply 53February 8, 2015 2:57 PM

We're you happy that he died of AIDS, R53?

by Anonymousreply 54February 8, 2015 3:04 PM

Why would I be happy he died, r54?

Are you a crazy person?

by Anonymousreply 55February 8, 2015 3:14 PM

What was his porn name, R53?

by Anonymousreply 56February 8, 2015 3:23 PM

I never knew, r56. (And I'm not giving out his real name.) I just heard he had done a few porn scenes.

by Anonymousreply 57February 8, 2015 3:25 PM

I didn't ask for his real name, R57.

by Anonymousreply 58February 8, 2015 3:28 PM

You didn't know his porn name, R57? That's convenient. And, I asked if you were you happy he died of AIDS was because this is Datalounge.

by Anonymousreply 59February 8, 2015 3:31 PM

How long did your father live, R47?

by Anonymousreply 60February 8, 2015 3:32 PM

He was the captain of the football team and we were supposed to think he was the hottest. I never did; he was way too white bread.

His mother told my mother the parish priest advised them not to send him out of town to college. They did anyway, because he had a football scholarship and his father wanted to see him become a football star. He was kicked out of school his second semester and he later served time for stalking and voyeurism.

by Anonymousreply 61February 8, 2015 3:43 PM

I dated a guy in college who all the other guys lusted after, though I researched the matter throughly and never found out why. He was crazy. He called me out-of-the-blue one day, maybe fifteen years after we last spoke. This was before the internet, so I don't know how he found me.

I didn't mention that he caught me packing for a trip to Amsterdam the next day. I thought that would be rude to mention, but I'll tell you, DL. It was 8 or 9 pm and I was very distracted and uninterested. He blathered on about his life and asked me nothing about mine. He became a therapist in the San Francisco Bay Area. I couldn't believe he was offering that kind of help to other people when he clearly sounded "off'. He was justifying his life, or bragging, or just trying to convince me that he was successful, when I just didn't care.

Although, I did care enough to wonder where my next call was. Ten or fifteen years later, I missed the oddity of it. So, I interneted him, and found that he died "suddenly" at age 41. I guess that means drugs, which makes sense. Too bad.

by Anonymousreply 62February 8, 2015 3:44 PM

Doing great here, thanks, OP. And I'm still hot, by all accounts!

by Anonymousreply 63February 8, 2015 3:49 PM

Remembered that we did have a super hot non-white guy. He moved to the neighborhood a year before graduation and never became a real part of the social order. Light eyes, great body, some kind of middle eastern background. Kind of a dick. Shot himself around 24.

by Anonymousreply 64February 8, 2015 3:54 PM

The president of my class in junior high school in Sarasota FL was Paul Rubenfeld, AKA Paul Rebens, AKA Pee Wee Herman. He was an over achiever who you knew would be somebody when he grew up. Also, the girls loved him.

by Anonymousreply 65February 8, 2015 3:55 PM

He's a castrati, frau food and none the wiser.

by Anonymousreply 66February 8, 2015 3:57 PM

There was this black guy at my first job. Not High School, but we were still young. He designed submarines. He was a former merchant marine, with great posture, and blue eyes. Just stunning. He left there, and is still doing something with Engineering and ships at another firm, God bless him.

by Anonymousreply 67February 8, 2015 3:58 PM

Like R3 but my guy isn't successful.

Terry O'Leary was tall, blond blue eyed and had a six-pack before it became trendy. He also had the biggest dick I've ever seen.

Everyone wanted to fuck him, including the young female geography teacher who some days was very inappropriate with him.

I saw him a few years back and his occasional pot smoking became a full blown drug addiction.

He's missing a lot of teeth, he's lost a lot of hair and gained a lot of weight.

He's been on welfare for years and lives with his grandfather on his farm.

The hottest girl is still thin and pretty but she's one of those annoying FB mommies who loves to brag about herself and her children and sadly seems to have never grown up.

She was proud that her 12 year old daughter had five different boys asking her to the school graduation dance and told her to make sure she picks the most popular boy.

by Anonymousreply 68February 8, 2015 4:03 PM

This guy was voted most handsome. And he WAS beautiful...like Brad Pitt circa "Thelma and Louise". We weren't super close, but we were friendly. I had a huge crush on him.

He is married with kids and I think has a pretty decent job, but I did hear he was brought up on some sexual harassment charges a while back.

On Facebook, he doesn't look great, but they must be old pictures. I ran into him about a month ago and he was HOT. Clearly been working out. He told me I looked better than I did in high school.

I would have blown him right there in his truck if he'd asked.

by Anonymousreply 69February 8, 2015 4:06 PM

R69, you remind me I had a dream about Brad Pitt last night. He was pictured in a DL OP, and his skin had definite yellow-beige tinges.

by Anonymousreply 70February 8, 2015 4:10 PM

She was Homecoming Queen, a fashion model, and a genuinely beautiful person inside and out. But at the age of 50 her scumbag husband, Martin, murdered her. Her name was Michele Marie Somers. R.I.P. Michele...

by Anonymousreply 71February 8, 2015 4:17 PM

The hottest guy was a baseball star in HS, who was recruited into the minors after college, but didn't get far. He lives in the Denver burbs now, coaching...ta dah! HS baseball.

The hottest chick was the head of the majorette squad, & she really was a nice person to everyone. She married another classmate, who did well for himself. They live in an upper middle class burb in CT, with several kids. She's a stay at home frau, does book club, yoga, all that.

I was almost more impressed with the nerdy nobody-ever-looked-at-me HS kids, who grew into their looks & success. It sucks to peak at 18.

by Anonymousreply 72February 8, 2015 4:22 PM

The hottest girl was also the smartest. She is now in med school.

by Anonymousreply 73February 8, 2015 4:22 PM

there was an awfully dreamy, artsy, handsome dude...he was a skater and - surprise - a huge pot head. met him 15 years later: still a pot head. he's nice enough, just didn't actually go anywhere because he was too baked all the time.

the hottest girl was a real sweetheart. she comes from a very nice (and rich) family, very smart - and was literally just nice to everybody. she lost her georgeous blonde mane due to alopecia, but she took it very well. still nice, still attractive. found herself a nice dude (very furry, they joke about how he has enough hair for the both of them).

by Anonymousreply 74February 8, 2015 4:45 PM

R409, I meant actually fat, not Hollywood fat.

by Anonymousreply 75February 8, 2015 9:11 PM

Grew a huge beard and became a hippie vagrant.

by Anonymousreply 76February 8, 2015 9:19 PM

I like R73.

by Anonymousreply 77February 8, 2015 10:53 PM

Insurance salesman.

by Anonymousreply 78February 8, 2015 10:55 PM

R62, you thoughtless asshole, he was probably just trying to connect. You sound like a real jerk to me. That he thought you were human...big mistake.

by Anonymousreply 79February 8, 2015 10:58 PM

R63 who are you talking to? R62's post merely says "Insurance salesman."

by Anonymousreply 80February 8, 2015 11:04 PM

I'm sitting at home posting on DL. Thanks for your concern op :).

by Anonymousreply 81February 8, 2015 11:06 PM

He was hot and hunky. Good grades. Student leader. Class President. He ended up in a sort of dead-end job. He owns a chain of funeral homes.

by Anonymousreply 82February 8, 2015 11:10 PM

r82 Whats his name? He might have employed my father.

by Anonymousreply 83February 8, 2015 11:13 PM

Became Mr. Universe, then came out as gay and was in the National Enquirer. Now lives in Hawaii.

by Anonymousreply 84February 8, 2015 11:23 PM

Yes, R79, he obviously was "just trying to connect". He reached out to someone who had concluded 15 years earlier that their relationship was no good; and did nothing but frenetically talk about himself, without so much as asking if I was free to talk, which only reminded me of his drug-fueled hysteronics and why I didn't want a relationship with him in the first place.

That you, R79, would accuse someone else of being "a real jerk", is terribly ironic.

by Anonymousreply 85February 8, 2015 11:24 PM

Ha-ha, R82 made a funny!

by Anonymousreply 86February 8, 2015 11:25 PM

professional ax murderer

by Anonymousreply 87February 8, 2015 11:26 PM

damn r87 you must be old as fuck going to high school with lizzie borden and all.

by Anonymousreply 88February 8, 2015 11:39 PM

Guy: Football star, smart...now divorced no kids, plugging along at car sales

Girl: Never was into cheerleading, but was head mat maid in high school. Married and is an RN.

by Anonymousreply 89February 9, 2015 12:23 AM

He's a landlord. His face is still beautiful but he has become a tub of lard like most of us.

by Anonymousreply 90February 9, 2015 12:28 AM

I've tried looking up the hottest guy from my high school over the years, and I can't find a thing on him. It leads me to believe he either became fat and ugly and/or didn't do shit with his life.

by Anonymousreply 91February 9, 2015 12:29 AM

Mine is a high powered lawyer. And he's still hot in his 50s.

by Anonymousreply 92February 9, 2015 12:35 AM

[quote] Agree that what makes someone hot at 17 doesn't always translate at 35. Often the hot guys in high school hit puberty early. The guys who barely shaved back then often came into their own in their 20s and have the advantage of looking young now that they are mid-30s Lots of Hollywood heartthrobs fit that pattern-- they could play teens at 25 but look great at 40

This.Agree with you R32 - my nieces and nephews live nearby and I see it with their friends - the ones who hit puberty early are "hot" in high school but will peak physically and the ones who look like little boys and girls will be the hot 30 year olds.

by Anonymousreply 93February 9, 2015 12:36 AM

Interestingly straight hot guys don't tend to know how to keep their looks as they age (or maybe just don't care).

Some don't realize that all the attention they got because they were so good looking. Friends who were striking thought everyone's lives were the same as theirs

One interesting case was a great looking, all-American kid I knew in high school. Years later I ran into him. He was a medical resident, but he told me that he turned his life around after getting heavily into drugs while in college and afterwards. His face showed it. That handsome face looked leathery, and he was only a bit over 30.

by Anonymousreply 94February 9, 2015 12:50 AM

Star football player two years a head of me - I used to love seeing him in the lockerroom, body to die for and big hanging dick...that he didn't care who looked at it.

Found him from a mutual friend connection on facebook - still hot as fuck but a right wing nut job.

by Anonymousreply 95February 9, 2015 12:53 AM

He married Donatella Versace. This pic is probably from early 1990s, when he was in his mid-30s, and closer to what he looked like in high school. The other pics on the internet are mostly from the last few years, and, well, he's pushing 60.

The other guy who was hot as hell, still looks really good for being in his late 50s. He went on to run restaurants in Florida. His son was a minor actor in Hollywood, now doing mostly writing and production.

by Anonymousreply 97February 9, 2015 3:16 AM

Not the hottest, but without a doubt the smartest. He was a genius who went off to MIT, but he was just as comfortable with James Joyce as he was with science or engineering.

20 years later he's back home running a little business in his garage (what used to be his parents' house) working on small engines, lawn mowers and snow blowers, and I've heard that next to his diploma from MIT you'll find diplomas from things like the Worldwide Detective School.

by Anonymousreply 98February 9, 2015 3:51 AM

Then: He was hot as hell. Baseball. Tiny waist, big pecs, big schlong. Now: Fat, bald, drunk, divorced.

by Anonymousreply 99February 9, 2015 4:38 AM

R27 I have thought about it. My mom's great grandparents were still alive when she was born. They were both born the year Queen Victoria ascended the throne. All 4 of my great-grandparents were born before the Civil War began. Gadzooks.

by Anonymousreply 100February 9, 2015 6:36 AM

Don't know, don't care.

by Anonymousreply 101February 9, 2015 6:41 AM

You have eight great-grandparents in total. Do you know about the other four?

Six of my eight great-grandparents were born before the Civil War, too! The other two were born during the war. I'm 54, though. My parents were born late in their parents lives, as was I. I do enjoy the oddity of this, a little.

by Anonymousreply 103February 9, 2015 3:49 PM

Do people really still think about high school? I graduated 30 years ago and it NEVER even crosses my mind. I wouldn't know what happened to any of them. My life began after HS.

by Anonymousreply 104February 9, 2015 3:50 PM

[quote] R104: Do people really still think about high school? ... My life began after HS.

No, except that my twin sister does, as she still lives in our mid-sized hometown. I wound-up reconnecting with HS aquaintences through her and Facebook. These people are now simply strangers who shared a common school, but there is no harm in me being FB friends with them. I NEVER communicate with them on a personal basis. My life also began after HS.

by Anonymousreply 105February 9, 2015 3:56 PM

Actually I have no idea who the hottest guy or girl in my class was but the class ahead of me, I remember one guy who was extremely hot. I honestly don't know what became of him except I thought, he became an insurance salesman. I'm sure he is successful.

by Anonymousreply 106February 9, 2015 4:30 PM

I did have a secret (of course) crush on this kid in junior high. He was a year behind me, and probably literally didn't know I existed. I friended him on Facebook recently and he accepted, though probably thinking "WTF"?. That's a bit of a disappointment, though. He's about 53 now and looks it, in other words, no longer adorably cute. And he's so boring that I have no idea what he does or how he turned out.

by Anonymousreply 107February 9, 2015 4:58 PM

I'm 49 and all my grandparents were born prior to 1900. My paternal grandfather was too old to WWI!

Here's a before and after pic of the hottest guy in my all boys Catholic high school. He was a jock and had an incredible body. He's a big fat mess now.

49? Going on 69?

by Anonymousreply 109February 10, 2015 3:45 PM

I can't think of a single hot person in my high school. This thread made me go browse through some Twitters and Facebooks and holy shit are all these people insane. One guy posts 2-4 pics of himself a day, working out. He looks repulsive. Another guy thinks he's an "otherkin" and has the spirit of a female dragon living within him. Another guy has dyed his beard blue but did such a bad job a bunch of his face skin is blue, too. One dude looks like an egg.

So many inspirational quotes and articles about fibromyalgia and pictures of kittens.

I can't tell you how many 42 and 43 year olds look like they're moments from retirement. People in classes ahead of mine are just now having kids. They're 45 years old!

There are a few cool people mixed in. One lady is this gorgeous dyke railing against anti-vax fraus. Another is a professor who looks like he's doing really well. But mostly, everyone is a complete mess, and I am beyond depressed.

by Anonymousreply 110February 10, 2015 4:22 PM

I didn't have crushes on any of the boys at my high school. But the guy who was voted best looking (name was Pete) was a nice guy with a very nice face. He kind of had hair like James Spader's character in Pretty in Pink (it was the mid-80s). Pete was nice but not very smart. He started working in construction right out of high school. When I was back from college in my senior year, I saw him out at a bar. He had become fat already. Still a good looking face, but my friend I was with told me he had become a raging alcoholic. He hit the bar every night after work, got drunk, and walked (stumbled?) to his home nearby. My friend said he still got laid a lot off his reputation as the high school stud. I remember he was sitting at the bar with a glass and a pitcher of beer. My friend said the pitcher was his and he was probably on his third or fourth by then. Shit, if I ever drank that much I'd die of alcohol poisoning!

Next time I heard about him (never actually saw him again) was 10 years later in my early 30s after talking to the same friend (she ALWAYS had the gossip on everyone). Apparently he was still working construction and had aged terribly. Those hard labor jobs out in the elements really age a person. He had gained even more weight. The word was due to all the drinking, his former status as hot stud had diminished because he had performance problems in the bedroom. He had married and divorced by then. His wife dumped him because of his erectile dysfunction problems.

It's really sad. He was one of those popular guys who was nice to everyone. He wasn't mean and didn't get into bullying or any of that stuff. He would even tell his friends to lay off the poor kids who got picked on all the time. I'm not sure what happened to him since my 30s because I lost touch with my friend the gossip. I hope he turned his life around, but in the town where I grew up anyone who stayed basically went out to the bars to drink. That's still all there is to do.

by Anonymousreply 111February 10, 2015 4:28 PM

Hottest guy is one of the most successful money managers in the US. He's 48, balding and paunchy. I saw him at our 30th and he was kind of a dick, but he was always a nice kid in high school.

Hottest girl went to junior college and is now married to a very prominent attorney and is very active in her city's social scene. She still looks gorgeous, even better than when she was a kid.

by Anonymousreply 112February 10, 2015 4:35 PM

I crushed on a few guys in my class and the class before me.

They've all become fat, boring Republicans that didn't stray more than 10 miles from where they grew up.

I grew up in Tulsa. I left 25 years ago and now when I google anybody only three people have ever showed up online. I don't know what happened to my entire high school. They just twilight zoned.

But since they were cruel and phobic, I'm fine with them being nonexistent, although I do google a name that I recall, every so often out of curiosity. I would like to know something.

by Anonymousreply 118March 14, 2015 2:35 AM

Let's see: I worked in the state capitol building for 17 years as a legislative aide and then went on to a series of very odd jobs, one of which landed me in the center of the worst political scandal in my state's history.

But seriously, none of the guys in my small-town high school class were much hotter than I was, although I still beat off to the images of some of them with longer dicks than mine naked in the locker room.

I haven't seen any of those erstwhile studs in forty years, and they are probably all bald, fat and disgusting now.

by Anonymousreply 119March 14, 2015 3:04 AM

My old GF in high school was so beautiful and talented. She went to Yale, where I could not join her as I am of limited intelligence.

She is now a psychobabble-spouting yoga and spirituality "therapist" with a certificate from a dubious diploma mill. She is also an internet charlatan who hits up everyone she knows for $$ on Kickstarter for hare-brained "startups." Occasionally I see righteous posts and letters from her agitating for Palestinian rights (she's Jewish) and laws allowing dogs to roam free off the leash.

I try not to think of her much but it upsets me that such a brilliant woman with a great education has turned into a New Age crank.

by Anonymousreply 120March 14, 2015 2:32 PM

I don't remember who the hottest guy in my HS class was. The hottest guy I remember from HS was a year younger, and even though his last name is extremely unusual, I have never been able to find him on the internet. Not even an obituary. He's one of a very few who weren't named John Smith I haven't been able to track down.

by Anonymousreply 121March 14, 2015 2:40 PM

I will never forget the one time I saw him in the locker room, naked. About 16, perfect body white white skin, muscular (but that was before high school kids lifted weights generally), black hair white straight teeth, perfect slightly oversized ass. No body hair. Male model face. In senior high it was mothers appreciation day and all the football players got to parade their mothers across the gymnasium floor. His mother weighed probably 240 lbs, had on a house dress/mumu, was ugly, and they were from the wrong side of town. Ron had no male friends that I ever really saw. He liked cars. I found out 20 years later at a high school reunion he was also a very early bloomer.... as one of the country club ladies with an eye for high school jocks use to have her boys over on the weekday afternoons for a romp. Ron was one of the two in our class she picked. We lived in a very blue collar factory town and either you were upper middle class or your dad worked on the assembly line. Assembly line for Ron s dad They lived in practically a shack. I heard about 7 years after hgih school he got stabbed in a drug deal gone bad and was subsequently a recluse and wouldnt got out in public for at least a decade. Had one kid, wife a nurse. He got a divorce. I moved back to my home state about 3 years ago. I read on line he had 2 dUIs The third time the cops found him flat on his face in the post office parking lot dead drunk passed out. He had abrasions to his face. He had several occasions where he was in jail. Finally about 2 years ago it all came to a head and the police were involved in an incident again and I think he killed himself when they were forcing the door open to arrest him for public intoxication. The guy was utter perfection in every way as a teenager. It makes you wonder why he chose that path? My guess is its because he didnt escape from our hometown and he was never very well employed..........the thing that is causing our huge overdose problem to this day nationwide but particularly effects the middle west s rust belt, unemployment of underemployment . So utterly beautiful, so horrible an ending.

by Anonymousreply 122June 11, 2018 1:18 AM

The hottest girl died a few years ago. Her obituary was so vague I’m inclime to think it was because of a drug overdose.

by Anonymousreply 123June 11, 2018 1:26 AM

He became a doctor, married well, had beautiful kids. Success story.

by Anonymousreply 124June 11, 2018 1:29 AM

The hottest girl at my school was also the smartest girl as well.

She was kind of a bitch then (arrogant and cruel) but the last time I ran into her (it was completely random and not even where we grew up) in DC she was incredibly sweet and had mellowed out. Apparently the first few years after school straightened her out thanks to some personal tragedies. She seemed genuinely happy to see me.

She's a doctor who married another doctor and they have two kids and do a lot of aid work overseas. She's also still beautiful.

The hottest guy in my school joined the military, worked his way up to becoming a high ranking official and left to start a security firm which is very successful. He's no longer beautiful but he seems to do well financially. I didn't even recognize him when he friended me on Facebook.

by Anonymousreply 125June 11, 2018 1:45 AM

He eventually married a woman as beautiful as him. He was the only person I felt complete, unconditional love from. He was killed in the WTC. I think of him everyday.

by Anonymousreply 126June 11, 2018 1:58 AM

She was prom queen. Just stunning. At the 10 year reunion, she came with her meh lawyer husband. She was sadly a tub of lard after three kids.

The hottest guy is still my type— hairy, Italian looking. Sadly I can’t remember his name for the life of me so can’t look him up. The second hottest guy became a Hollywood lawyer and still looks pretty good on Facebook.

by Anonymousreply 127June 11, 2018 2:08 AM

Amazing looks. Dark hair. Electric blue eyes. QB football team. Princeton. His father committed suicide our freshman year of college. He then became successful, published psychiatrist. But bald now. And pudgy. A very nice guy too

by Anonymousreply 128June 11, 2018 2:30 AM

He joined the Marines and went to war, I don't know what happened to him.

by Anonymousreply 129June 11, 2018 2:37 AM

Funny. I love this thread. My 40th high school reunion is happening this month. I really can’t remember much of my hs experience or the hot guys. I’ve moved far away and I’m not going, but I am a bit curious how people turned out. I grew up in a middle class suburb and I had to get out of there as fast as I could. And I. Guessing that, although I don’t look amazing, I’m in the top 20%. In high school I was definitely in the bottom 20%.

by Anonymousreply 130June 11, 2018 2:47 AM

He’s a fat ass who owns a video store. Who the hell rents movies from a video store these days?

by Anonymousreply 131June 11, 2018 3:03 AM

As a gay kid, high school was a time of survival strategies and avoiding creeps who might knock books out of my hand or keep varying the routes I walked home each day so I didn't really have time or consider any of those people "hot". I live in another state now and am retired and doing OK; it gives me a kick to read the obituaries from the newspaper back where I'm from originally and discover that another one of those assholes died and that I can dance on their graves (or piss on them). One who was a particular jerk and whom some of the teachers considered a discipline problem died in his early 50s of Lou Gehrig's disease. When I read that I chuckled and thought "couldn't have happened to a worse asshole".

by Anonymousreply 132June 11, 2018 3:10 AM

Also the hottest guy, who became a successful doctor, he dated my sister. He was captain of the soccer team, he was super charming, and he was horse hung.

by Anonymousreply 133June 11, 2018 3:15 AM

The rich-relationed hometown queen married into what she needed, with a guarantee of company and haven for the elderly.

by Anonymousreply 134June 11, 2018 3:31 AM

3 1/2 years after OP posted this and I STILL don't care what anyone from my high school class did with their lives.

by Anonymousreply 135June 11, 2018 3:43 AM

I grew up in a wealthy Dallas neighborhood where it was routine for kids to get new BMW’s, Lexus, or Mercedes on their 16th birthdays.

There was a girl, who came from a middle class family but she was stunning. I mean, just gorgeous. She knew she was hot, and acted like Paris Hilton despite driving an old Acura.

The last time I saw her on Facebook, she was a manager at a low end consignment store, married to a blue collar guy with a son, and significantly larger than her skinny frame in highschool. She has also lost her looks.

It was surprising to see because again, based on her looks and attitude at 18, she could have easily married into a very prominent, rich Dallas family.

The hottest guy I met while working at Hollister after I graduated from highschool. He looked like the guys you’d see on the front of an A&F bag. Tan, white, super confident, popular, but from a middle class background. He’s now fat and unremarkable looking.

I was admittedly below average looking in highschool, but now at 32, routinely called very handsome. I also look much younger than my actual age and am frequently assumed to be a college student. I am glad that I’ve peaked later than a lot of my peers.

by Anonymousreply 136June 11, 2018 4:00 AM

We dated for several years after high school (he wasn’t out in HS and had several girlfriends, but came out right after graduating). We’re still in touch. He looks just as good 20 years later and works in a non profit. But he has a massive ego and a “better than you” attitude to match.

I was considered hot-ish in high school, but after 20 years of gym and healthy living I can say I look better than anyone I graduated with.

by Anonymousreply 137June 11, 2018 6:45 AM

He's wealthy, and lives in a very wealthy town (Stillwater, MN) with his large family. He contributes heavily to superconservative Minnesota PACs and anti-Democrat ads. The rumor is that he has a large cutout of Ronald Reagan in his bedroom that he talks to every day. I am not making that up.

by Anonymousreply 138June 11, 2018 6:59 AM

The people I knew personally, the ones who were very smart and extremely attractive, ended up with lousy lives. Some, despite going to good colleges, became epic failures (drugs, alcohol) and others completely lost their looks in their 30s.

The high school, in general, produced many extremely talented people who ended up as famous fashion designers, directors, fashion models, photographers, actors and actresses. The high school was very prestigious in it's day. It's in Manhattan. Not sure if it's still open, what with the government now cutting back on the arts and other areas of creativity.

Tell me, R140, how do you manage to type? I would think the eye issues alone would stop a 94 year old such as yourself from posting.

by Anonymousreply 143June 11, 2018 8:41 AM

Went to University, dropped out after three months when it was revealed he was working as a male escort. Married the first gullible frau that came his way, got her pregnant twice-over, left her about five years ago to indulge his love of cock with our former PE teacher (who himself was charged - but not convicted - with paedophilia). A *really* swell guy who knew which boys in school were gay and bullied us relentlessly, even going as far as raping one of my classmates on a school trip to Vienna.

by Anonymousreply 144June 11, 2018 8:42 AM

Oh, I'm not 94. I am not yet 38! I don't require glasses.

by Anonymousreply 145June 11, 2018 8:49 AM

She was the girl that everyone thought was going to make it, including me Was in all the school productions and did some local modelling/theatre gigs. Ended out divorced and a part -time social worker in a coastal town. She was a bit of a bitch to me - we had similar features and people would ask if we were brother and sister, to which she would always recoil in exaggerated horror. She didn't have a terrible life bit it was a come down from someone who used to practice her Oscar acceptance speech on us at lunchtimes.

by Anonymousreply 146June 11, 2018 8:55 AM

R142 - yes hopefully he did snap out of it and managed to find a better life and some hapiness for himself.

by Anonymousreply 147June 11, 2018 8:57 AM

R145, I'm confused. R140 posted a picture of Betty Becall in response to a question about good looking people in high school. Becall was born in 1924, same year as my mom. If you went to high school with Becall, you would be 94 years old.

So, may be I missed something?

They have done long term studies on attractiveness and success. Not a surprise but the better looking you are the more breaks you get in life. So a large percentage became CEOs of big companies, or other power positions where the person in charge is easy to look at. Easier for them to get attention and easier for them to get someone to sign on the dotted line. Not the kind that start up companies, more of a figure head type that grift from company to company with no real skills but get paid more money each time they move. On the low end they go into things like real estate. But even then, the very successful ones tend to be good looking.

by Anonymousreply 151June 11, 2018 9:23 AM

I have never been able to find online the hottest guy I went to high school with. And he had a very uncommon last name. I have been able to narrow down where his brother and sister ended up, but not Michael. Never Michael. Not even at Find a Grave.

by Anonymousreply 152June 11, 2018 10:49 AM

One of the most beautiful guys in my high school moved to NYC and started out as a model there. He was very good looking in high school but became incredibly hot after his move to NYC. And of course he (and I) were both gay, He put his hard-earned college major to work and has become tremendously successful as a spokesperson in a certain field on one of television's home shopping networks. He is still very, very handsome...keeps his body and face in great shape...and is beloved by millions of his viewers....Especially the fraus and eldergays. Anyone who watches this home shopping network knows who he is. He/we turn 65 this year and we both have kept up our looks (he more than me) at this somewhat advanced age...kept up with our high school friends...and kept up with each other as we both are still good friends today.

by Anonymousreply 153June 11, 2018 12:56 PM

Became a baseball coach. Married the head cheerleader - who became an athletic director at a high school. Obsessed with his kids sports prowess (he was a star athlete). Stayed in the same town. Second hottest became a car mechanic.

Only really successful ones were not good looking - which seems like an anomaly here. Maybe because my school was sports obsessed. The smart kids in my classes were all considered serious nerds. Strangely I was the only “cool” one because I was somewhat good looking and worked reaalllly hard to fit in to cover my gayness. Other than one hedge fund manager and a few doctors, I’m probably one of the most successful and one of only about 5-6 of 700 who moved to a big city. 80% stayed in or near our hometown - which seems like the ultimate tragedy. Most of the smart kids moved (a little farther) away.

by Anonymousreply 154June 11, 2018 2:36 PM

R136 shout out to Hollister! I snagged a job there on my 17th birthday. Was a dream for a young gay guy to be around hotties every day. Plus, you could “recruit” the sexy customers that came into the store by asking them to apply for a job as a model (front house sales associate). They were always flattered. My male mangers looked like Corbin Fisher models; recent college grads with more looks than brains. No plus sized or dark colored clothes. I loved it!

The hottest guy at my school was names Tyler. He was gorgeous from middle school into high school. He was in the top 5% of the class and went on to become a doctor of physical therapy. His beautiful hair is receding a bit but he’s still fuckable. He stays fit with 6 pack abs, according to recent Instagram pictures. He also worked at hollister which is why I wanted the job, loved hearing his stories about fucking classmates. All in all, he was kind to everyone, he had friends in every type of social groups, but hung out with the weather popular crowd.

I was second tier popular. I wasn’t close with Tyler’s group but typically sat with them and received party invites. Being popular was about coming from a middle to upper middle class background and taking AP classes. So everyone has a degree and is gainfully employee. Lots of doctors and engineers. Not bad for a public school from a small Midwest city.

by Anonymousreply 155June 11, 2018 3:29 PM

Damn r144. One part of me is shock while the other part of me is intrigued. Did you ever bites your classmate. Seems like a wasted opportunity if you didn’t give him a go.

by Anonymousreply 156June 11, 2018 3:32 PM

[quote]found that he died "suddenly" at age 41. I guess that means drugs, which makes sense.

Sounds like he was reaching out for a touch stone to me, R62. Since when do therapists and the like, stop being human to you? Especially with the workloads they have. Dying suddenly to me means: heart attack, stroke, aneurysm, suicide, car crash...

by Anonymousreply 157June 11, 2018 3:44 PM

There were two thousand graduates in my hs year. Hottest person, I don’t know. We didn’t do proms, cheerleaders, team captain type American school things, so it was a much different school experience. I joined many different activities, so knew nearly everyone. No one socialized after school hours much, I never dated, so can’t answer the question after all that in retrospect.

In middle school, just the hormonal crushes. Never reciprocated. A guy I mooned over didn’t seem as bright as I thought he was as kids. He got married, popped some kids, became obese, and looks 25 years older than he should. That gray hair probably got him seniors’ discounts since he was forty. Sad.

2000 kids and no one socialized after school? Where did you go to school r158? Are you sure your classmates didn’t leave you out of their after school activities?

by Anonymousreply 159June 11, 2018 3:56 PM

Um, I probably was the hottest. Prettiest for sure.

by Anonymousreply 160June 11, 2018 4:02 PM

Out hottest was football captain, 6 ft and stunning. Bright too, went to the Ivy league on full scholarship. He's currently a successful wealthy doctor on LI, married to the cousin of an A-list actress we all discuss here on DL. Cute kids. Decent guy too - not hyper friendly, but unfailingly polite to everyone, never unpleasant.

Not everything's wine and roses, his sister committed suicide a few years ago and his mom recently died after a long cancer fight. Pics online show he's very happy with his family and kids, most of his posts are about them and in the end that's what matters I guess.

by Anonymousreply 161June 11, 2018 4:15 PM

R156 - I never touched him. He despised me - he actively tried to get me on my own several times at school to punch me on the arms or chest, you know, places where the bruising wouldn't show, and often threatened to kill me or other stuff. He stopped picking on me once I pretended to have recorded him on a dictaphone (remember those, kids?!) The dumb fucker didn't even bother to check. Either way though, I moved away when I was seventeen and left school shortly afterwards.

The disgusting thing though is that he and his boyfriend (the former PE teacher) set up home in the town we grew up in, and actually tried to get custody of his children from his fuckwit ex-wife (I say fuckwit because there is no way she didn't know what he was up to or who he was with during the times he wasn't at home) which only failed because one of the teacher's victims came forward, went to the local social services and told them. I feel sad for the kids though - they're no longer living with the mother, but have been adopted by a family who live quite some distance from the arsehole and his kiddy-fiddling boyfriend.

As for the classmate he raped: that guy left school, joined the police and is doing rather well with his life. Recently got married to his (long-suffering) long-standing boyfriend. At least some good came out of the shithole I went to school in!

by Anonymousreply 162June 11, 2018 5:20 PM

All the hotties in my high school have turned into toads my HS maintains a website for alumni some have posted pictures the smart ones have not.

by Anonymousreply 163June 11, 2018 5:25 PM

Married his high-school sweetheart, went to RISD, became an architect and slept with more women than I have men. And I have not been idle...

His marriage, unsurprisingly, fell apart after 15 years or so when his wife got sick of his shit and started sleeping around herself. He was bummed, he told me, to have been replaced by a man named "Daryl." He is now single and living in what can only be described as reduced circumstances, probably exacerbated by just having finished paying for the last of his three daughters' college tuition bill and then their weddings. Despite this, he's still got his looks - he's the local version of Richard Gere - the guy who just never lost it. He is still, at 66 or so, very easy on the eyes. He's a genuinely nice guy, too, but one who could not keep his dick in his pants, especially when every woman in three states was trying to get it out of his pants.

I wasn't surprised. His father was also an architect who was always fucking around on his long-suffering wife but people didn't split up then the way they do now.

by Anonymousreply 164June 11, 2018 5:36 PM

Hottest guy, captain of the football team, gorgeous and really nice. He never accomplished much after high school. Sadly drank himself to death a few years ago. Last time I saw the hottest girl, she still had the same hairdo and was wearing the same makeup she wore in high school (1976). Guess she never got over it.

by Anonymousreply 165June 11, 2018 5:39 PM

We're still friends. He's married with kids and works for the UN, stationed in Croatia. Awesome guy. He was personally scouted by Calvin Klein on a Manhattan elevator at the age of 16, which made him an instant legend in our high school. CK asked him to walk one of his shows. My friend - "John" - wouldn't have told anyone but his girlfriend at the time was with him and she spread that shit fast. He turned down that offer as well as others, which is too bad - he looked just like that Polo model Matt Norklun.

Anyway, he was always humble and smart. He got a full ride to USC and now works overtime trying to make the world a better place. It's funny though - most his close friends later in life were and are gay men.

by Anonymousreply 166June 11, 2018 5:48 PM

Who I thought was the hottest—he legiitimately resembled Tyrone Power—went on to get an MBA, became a financial adviser. Married with two kids. Desperately unhappy. Hit on me a year before their first kid was born and many times thereafter.

Who people often thought was the hottest (prom king and all that) became a whole lot of nothin’.

by Anonymousreply 167June 11, 2018 5:53 PM

Exactly, r36.

I can't decide what's more depressing -- all these hotties that met grisly, tragic endings or the success stories.

by Anonymousreply 168June 11, 2018 5:56 PM

Lost his looks at 22, still parities hard (he’s 29 this year) and I’m fairly sure he got involved with some insurance fraud. He cheated on his girlfriend a year or so ago with a (female) friend of mine. He was awful then and seems awful now, I’m glad I haven’t seen him in years. He got away with so much shit because he was hot and even teachers wanted to fuck him

by Anonymousreply 169June 11, 2018 6:03 PM

Got full ride to Harvard and was expelled his second year to for cheating

by Anonymousreply 170June 11, 2018 6:06 PM

I went to an all boys high school. There were a couple of hot guys in my class. Now in their mid-fifties, there are at least two guys who are still hot. One is tall, slim, and blond. The other guy is wiry and dark-haired. He's gay too. There are several guys in my class, who later came out. The guy I had the hots for was a year ahead of me. Shoulder length brown hair with a beard. He was muscular, and he wore tight jeans. Beautiful butt and nice package! I had many jerk-off sessions fantasizing about him. Googled him a few years ago. He's a surgeon in Massachusetts. He's bald and pudgy. Damn!!

In college, I lived in an on-campus apartment one year with 4 other guys. Three of us have come out since then. And I suspect one other guy (who's married to a woman) may be closeted. At the last reunion that I saw my gay former roommates, we reminisced about the time wasted in the closet, and laughed about how wild it could have been!

by Anonymousreply 171June 11, 2018 6:15 PM

Mine became a professional hockey player and fuck boy.

by Anonymousreply 172June 11, 2018 6:18 PM

R4, my response would read exactly like yours. Handsome guy, extremely successful in corporate America. Wealthy; I don't know if he's straight/gay. Lives in California now.

by Anonymousreply 173June 11, 2018 6:21 PM

He became a nurse. No, it's not John. Now married to an average-looking, chubby frau with a kid. He still looks pretty good tbh.

by Anonymousreply 174June 11, 2018 6:37 PM

Well, the fact that any of you were smitten with Hollister shows that you're all a bunch of tacky trash anyway, r155.

Too broke to even be Abercrombie basic bitches!

by Anonymousreply 175June 11, 2018 6:52 PM

Depressing thread.

by Anonymousreply 176June 11, 2018 6:56 PM

Makes up bodies for the family funeral business, and is very rich.

by Anonymousreply 177June 11, 2018 7:06 PM

The soccer players from my hs have aged well, certainly better than the football players, at least to judge from what I've seen at reunions. I just googled the one I thought was hottest and he's still hanging in there looks-wise (we're in our early 50s now); lives in New Jersey and has some sort of job, blonde wife who's starting to look at bit mannish (whereas I remember her as more of a stunner) and a few kids.

The one I was most enthralled by in the locker room seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Had a perfect muscular smooth body in high school—looked incredible in white jockeys—thick dark head of hair. No idea what happened to him. Then again I didn't really know anything more about him in hs; he wasn't in any of my classes and didn't go to any of my previous schools. I don't even remember how I learned his name.

by Anonymousreply 178June 11, 2018 7:14 PM

My partner would always talk about his first boyfriend and how he was the hottest guy in high school. While they knew each other in high school, they didn't start dating until college. They had lost touch after a terrible breakup two years into the relationship.

Anyway, since I've known my partner, he would bring up the first bf from time to time. He said he would never google him because he still carries some pain around and doesn't want it to flare up.

Well, I googled him and found a bald pudge with an arrest record. He had become a doctor but got arrested for something (couldn't tell from the internet) and lost his license. I haven't shown my partner yet, but it no longer bothers me when he brings up his first.

by Anonymousreply 179June 11, 2018 7:24 PM

One of the most beautiful men at my high school had a gorgeously muscled body, wavy shiny black hair, and a nice hairy chest. He would strut around in the gym locker room with just his underwear on.

Two years after high school, I saw him selling vacuum cleaner parts at a store.

by Anonymousreply 180June 11, 2018 7:26 PM

All the hot high school guys are now middle-aged, unrecognizable, overweight guys. The same applies to all the *pretty girls* in high school. It seems they got married, had kids, then let themselves go.

The OK looking kids look better now in middle-age (as well as the gay guys who kept the weight off).

by Anonymousreply 181June 11, 2018 7:31 PM

R144 here - I was yapping to my boyfriend about the hottest guy in his school and he said that the hottest guy in his school got married to a gold-digger who fucked him, his brother, his father and his grandfather too. She would have sunk her claws into the uncle but "sadly" she ended up getting arrested for fraud or some white-collar crap like that. The boyfriend refers to her as the Brighton Bike. Bitchy.

by Anonymousreply 182June 11, 2018 7:31 PM

The most beautiful guy at my high school married well and disappeared with his rich wife.

[quote] He’s a fat ass who owns a video store. Who the hell rents movies from a video store these days?

Nobody except a few old people. Most of his "customers" probably go straight to the back of his "store", where shenanigans must take place (card games or drug sales or shit like that)

by Anonymousreply 184June 11, 2018 7:47 PM

[quote] went to the Ivy league on full scholarship.

By which you mean Penn or Cornell, no?

by Anonymousreply 185June 11, 2018 7:53 PM

I will not use my graduating class, but the one a year ahead of me - because he was basically the sexiest guy around (or I thought so then). Dirty blond, green eyes, tall and muscular with one of the biggest, roundest, plumpest asses that I had ever seen. And I saw plenty in the locker room - his package up front was just as impressive. This stud was a wide receiver (no pun intended) on the football team and also ran track with me. Naked, he was pretty much any man or women's wet dream back then. We were not friends by any means but were friendly and ran in some of the same "sports circles" socially. My school was private and pretty expensive and he came from a wealthy family and drove a fancy pickup. I think that he received a minor football scholarship to play for some small school in Georgia. I went to a different college and forgot about most of the people from my past, but when catching up with an old school friend years later - heard trough the grapevine that he was causing trouble and had been expelled. Fast forward 15 years and I randomly googled his name - which immediately pulled up a handful of pics on mugshots.com (and other similar sites). He still looked gorgeous but the mugshots were from way back and he must have still been around 19, 20, 21 years old then. Turns that he was kicked off the football team for drunken disorder or whatnot (a college newsletter mentioned it) and a couple of years later he had multiple arrests due to drug dealing. Clearly he was expelled before ever earning a degree. Now his address is listed in a rural area outside of the city that we grew up. I have no idea what he looks like now as he seems to have no social media presence. That is probably a good thing - I prefer to remember the gorgeous stud that he used to be back then.

by Anonymousreply 186June 11, 2018 8:31 PM

I answered above for the guy in my h.s. other people considered the hottest.

The guy I considered the hottest was gay and had a fantastic natural body. (He didn't work out--he was just naturally muscular, the way some guys are) He started working as a prostitute picking up guys in the bathroom of our local mall and sucking their dicks for a few bucks, and then he graduated to working on an hourly rate for johns staying in hotels downtown.

He tried to be friends with me (we both had sizeable roles in the musical), but I was very straight-laced then and mostly rebuffed him. We knew the other was gay, but at that stage we were completely different: I was still a virgin, and he had been getting fucked by older guys for years. (I knew all this from a mutual friend.) I was a straight-A student and he had terrible grades; I was involved in school activities, and except for the musical, he was not.

He didn't go to college (as I did), but stayed in our city and got more involved with the gay scene downtown. He eventually ran off to Scottsdale, AZ to be part of a throuple. The two older men were rich and bought him a motorcycle. There were rumors he had gone from there to California and had done porn but I've never seen him in anything. if he was (though he would have used a pseudonym, so who knows). Before I was out of college he had moved back home and was diagnosed with HIV; he died of AIDS in 1989 at age 23.

Even though I thought he was hot, I never thought about doing anything with him because he was so sleazy. That just didn't appeal to me at that age, even though I thought he was attractive physically. Sometimes I wish I had been friendlier to him (I was never mean or rude to him, but I didn't take up his overtures to become better friends), but aside from being gay we had nothing in common.

by Anonymousreply 187June 11, 2018 8:34 PM

I have no idea, but I think she's probably very successful. She was pretty, ambitious and popular. Can't see someone like that not going far.

by Anonymousreply 188June 11, 2018 8:39 PM

R175 Abercrombie was considered better but you had to go an hour away to find one, When the Hollister opened up at the Mall it was sort of a big deal.

Now back to the topic at hand.

by Anonymousreply 189June 11, 2018 9:47 PM

Quarterback of the football team and one of the hottest guys I've ever seen. College and then Los Angeles to see if he could make it as an actor. Was a Production Assistant on a successful television show, had a few bit parts, including a couple of appearances on the show, but the camera really didn't love him and he never got a break.

Went into sales and was pretty successful in a small way, then left to form a tech startup with a couple of friends. It never really took off, so he's back in sales again. In his 50s and still pretty fit, although getting a bit jowly now and the features have coarsened a bit. Still a nice guy.

(No, I'm not a stalker; he and I were roommates in Los Angeles. I'm gay; he's straight.)

by Anonymousreply 190June 11, 2018 11:33 PM

I ran into the hottest guy in my high school just a few years ago. We were in the same group of friends all through high school and college. I moved to L.A. after college and when I came back for Christmas after the first year being gone, we all hung out. He got really drunk and I drove him home. He was not as drunk as he pretended to be. All the way home he kept saying "I bet I can get you hard." and would rub my leg. I grew a lot bolder in that year gone, having lost my gay cherry and finding my mojo so I said "are you sure you could handle that?" He looked at me funny and just rested his and on my leg. We go to his apartment so I parked and waited for him to get out. He looked at me funny again and said "I bet you want me to kiss you," and he sort of closed his eyes and opened his mouth and stuck his tongue out like a kid. I thought fuck it, I will never have this chance again, grabbed the back of his head and stuck my tongue down his throat. He was suprsied and sort of pulled away but I had a good firm grip on the back of his head and I felt him give into it, he went from tense to relaxed and I slid over and reclined the seat all in one move. We must have made out for a good 15 minutes. He was gone, the lust had taken control. We went to his apartment and I did things to that man he never knew existed. That was the last time I saw him in person for about 10 years. We are all friends on FB though and I know he got married and has a daughter. He is pretty successful, runs some sort of commercial real estate firm. Most of the friends get together every year but I can never make it out since i am on the west coast. One of my good friends sent me a message saying I should come next year, that Keith (the guy) has been asking about me making it. From his FB he still looks hot as fuck. I might have to go this year.

by Anonymousreply 191June 11, 2018 11:50 PM

r191 if you skip it next year, can I go in your place. He sounds like my kind of hookup.

by Anonymousreply 192June 12, 2018 12:44 AM

Neal was on the football team. Italian-American guy with dark skin and a darkly furry body. No body shame (and he shouldn't have): he was comfortable walking around the locker room naked. I helped tutor him, and he was always genuinely sweet and kind to me, a bespectacled, pimply, flabby guy. After graduation, I'd occasionally see him at some shop at the mall, and he'd always wave to me in recognition. I know that he married an older woman, and had a couple of kids, and got divorced. Somehow, he got into Scientology. When I've looked him up on FB, he has dark circles around his eyes, and looks really lost.

by Anonymousreply 193June 12, 2018 1:10 AM

Star receiver on the football team who played a couple seasons with the Patriots. Married now with a couple kids and still hot at 50. Also still an asshole.

by Anonymousreply 194June 12, 2018 1:11 AM

Post high school photos of some of these people!

by Anonymousreply 196June 12, 2018 3:29 AM

She married a hot rich guy, had two daughters, became an interior decorator. All the stuff you'd predict BUT then in her forties suddenly became a lesbian and has a butch girlfriend now.

by Anonymousreply 197June 12, 2018 4:45 AM

I was "lunch friends" with our homecoming queen (aka you made the cut to sit at a 10 person lunch table and then as a senior, you drove off campus together to grab fast food). She was quite self-important and had sex with at least 2 guys who I desperately wanted to put my dick inside. Both were hot as fuck but straight (and yes, part of our little group). Rather than applying for colleges, she enrolled at a local community college (GPA was not great anyway) alongside some of the hottest guys from my graduating class. I didn't keep in close touch with most classmates and left town to attend an out-of-state college. I heard that she quit community college after a year and went to work full time as a makeup saleslady for Dillards. Not long after she was arrested for being part of a fraudulent check cashing scheme that defrauded the store of 15K or so. I have no clue what happened to after that - but this thread has inspired me to google her.

I didn't think Harvard people became chiropractors, but they do...

by Anonymousreply 199June 12, 2018 5:30 AM

He got into a childish argument and was shot by a drug dealer when we were ~21. He was the type to argue and take it personal , idk why he was like that.

He wanted to fuck me but never approached me cuz I was notorious for being difficult. He was raised in an overly religious /homophobic household.

by Anonymousreply 200June 12, 2018 6:35 AM

He was unearthly beautiful: the face of a classic statue, with a true roman nose. Silken hair that moved in waves as he walked, and very high colour. Parents of both sexes used to come and watch him play football just for the sight of him: "Poetry in motion" as I hear one mother say. When he left school he developed into a hunky very handsome man, but of earthbound beauty. The remarkable traffic-stopping godly beauty he'd had as an 14-18 year old deserted him. Now a semi-recluse furniture restorer so I heard.

by Anonymousreply 201June 12, 2018 7:29 AM

r186, I wonder if his big, round, plump ass got deflated when he went to jail, especially by some big, raunchy guy named Bubba. It stands to reason that someone like him would either have to constantly fight or become someone's bitch.

by Anonymousreply 202June 12, 2018 8:14 AM

He inspired lust, but not originality in rhetoric, apparently.

by Anonymousreply 204June 12, 2018 8:29 AM

It sounds to me like many of these guys who were so good looking in high school, especially the jock types, eventually fell from their pedestals (often sooner than later), let themselves go and got ugly, got into drinking and/or drugs or died an early death. It must be that flying too near the sun can do that (ancient Greek myth of Daedalus and Icarus).

by Anonymousreply 205June 12, 2018 8:41 AM

He was just a nice guy, a really good person. Had gorgeous but vain/stupid women throwing themselves at him all his life but settled for a pretty and practical woman who is a great match for him. Became a very successful businessman. People would a;ways ask him while he was friends with "that fag" (me) but he always was on my side. He had two great looking kids and a amazingly handsome son - I'm the Godfather!

Put on weight. and now looks flushed a lot of the time. No longer dresses in a glamorous, casual way. But to me will always be the best looking guy in the room because he, after all these years, is still a a wise trusted confidante - my very own Jiminy Cricket.

by Anonymousreply 206June 12, 2018 10:58 AM

R206 very nice, thanks for sharing

by Anonymousreply 207June 12, 2018 2:17 PM

She was always unkind, mixed race Meghan Markle type, the teachers thought she was wonderful. She married a Harvard lawyer, has four beautiful children, got a law degree but doesn't work, just like she always wanted. Lives in a nice neighbourhood in Montreal. Put on some weight but doesn't care. Wears pearls now. Spends summers at the cottage.

by Anonymousreply 208June 12, 2018 4:00 PM

R202 - I thought the same thing. I have ZERO doubt that he was very popular in jail. His flawless body and gigantic butt back in those days would give any IG personal trainer or any ripped porn star a run for their money. Jail had to be particularly traumatic for a stud who was that gorgeous and fuckable.
