Painfully unfunny. Worse even than SCRUBS. WHO watches this?
Brooklyn Nine-Nine

I do. It started off a little rough but it became a very good sitcom. You have issues OP.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 21, 2014 9:16 PM |
I like it. Best new sitcom for the 2013-14 season
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 21, 2014 9:19 PM |
I always thought Andy Samberg was cute in a kind of goofy Jewishy way, and had BDF, but the scene with him wearing a pair of Speedos makes me think there is no there there

Horrible dumb show.
Give Terry Crews his own show--but he has to be naked for at least ten minutes an episode.
Talk about sex on a stick! You probably all have seen him many times but don't know who he is.
Learn his name. He is the perfect man.

r4, you know the DL only has love for AWGs.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 22, 2014 3:29 AM |
Me! Andre Braugher is hilarious.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 22, 2014 3:32 AM |
I agree R4, he's the one who should have been in the speedo. S-t-u-d.
I like the show and I can honestly say I wasn't all that crazy about Andy Samberg when he was on SNL.
But there are some fun characters and it amuses me. I also like "The Mindy Project" for the same reason and am glad it is getting another season.
"Dads" OTOH, was a complete load of crap. An absolutely [italic]unwatchable[/italic] show.
I am forever out of step. Shows I think are dumb, stay on for years - shows I enjoy are inevitably cancelled. I'm a jinx, I tell ya.

stinky linky at r3
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 22, 2014 3:35 AM |
Andre Braugher is hysterical in it. And yes, Terry is beyond hot. It can be silly, but it IS a sitcom.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 22, 2014 3:36 AM |
i just watch it for terry crews. mmhmmm sexual choocolalte
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 22, 2014 3:40 AM |
Oh Terry Crews...please do some nude photos somewhere...you have so many fans...you are handsome and a good actor too...also you are very funny...enjoy you in all of your work
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 22, 2014 3:58 AM |
I saw every episode, and am glad it has been renewed.
It takes a little time to find its rhythm and it will never be a big hit, but I enjoy its mix of quirky and realistic.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 22, 2014 4:27 AM |
i want nudes from crewes too. he would make a good Luke Cage. he has the guns and the buns.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 22, 2014 4:32 AM |
I love it! It's from the producers of Parks & Rec, but I feel that it's even better - has a mix of really distinctive characters that reminds me of classics like Taxi and Cheers (and, yeah, Barney Miller).
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 22, 2014 4:05 PM |
It's fun, and like a lot of sitcoms, it took a few episodes for them to figure out what works and what doesn't.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 22, 2014 6:48 PM |
I thought I would watch for Andy Samberg, but I am actually watching for Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, and the rest of the cast. They are brilliant on this show.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 22, 2014 7:57 PM |
It really found its feet about 2/3 of the way through the first season, and episodes 18 onwards were really funny. I hope they keep that up for Season 2.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 22, 2014 8:04 PM |
It's Parks and Recreation but with cops instead. I still watch it though.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 22, 2014 8:34 PM |

Because he dislikes a TV show you enjoy? *Someone* has issues all right ...
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 22, 2014 8:37 PM |
I like that the head cops are two black men, one of whom (the boss) is openly gay. There are also two Latina cops, with distinctly different personalities. It's such a rarity to see more than one person of color on a show, especially when they aren't written as stereotypes, that it's hard not to like it just for going there.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 22, 2014 10:33 PM |
Terry Crews has a new show
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 13, 2014 4:05 PM |
I agree R21, the nonchalant way the cast of characters is incredibly diverse is great. And it makes sense, we are taking about police officers in NYC. These days that means tons of diversity.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 13, 2014 4:08 PM |
Has some really funny moments.
I love Andre B. in anything.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 13, 2014 4:08 PM |
R21 The best example of this kind of diversity is Sleepy Hollow, which is a very fun show.
Thanks for giving me an excuse to post a pic of Tom Mison.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 13, 2014 4:11 PM |
Has anyone seen Andy in Cockoo? He looks really good. Dirty, but hot.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 13, 2014 4:12 PM |
R21 is correct. It's great to see a NY-based sitcom that isn't stocked solely with white people.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 13, 2014 5:46 PM |
I enjoy it and think it is funny.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 14, 2014 12:59 PM |
I laughed watching every single episode. It's a great show.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | May 14, 2014 8:09 PM |
It took a few episodes, but it's grown on me and I like the characters and storylines, looking forward to the next season.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 14, 2014 10:07 PM |
Dump this. Unfunny.
Resurrect ENLISTED and RAISING HOPE.
Add Terry Crews to either one or better yet give him his own show, with plenty of shirtless scenes in workout shorts.

Bump
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 24, 2014 10:34 PM |
Filipino Bieber? I love this show.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 11, 2015 1:36 AM |
R31, while I wish they would bring Enlisted and Raising Hope back... Brooklyn Nine-Nine is fun too.
And I really, really hate to admit it, but I seriously want to fuck Andy Samberg.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 11, 2015 1:43 AM |
Wasn't it renewed?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 18, 2015 2:44 PM |
Get behind me, R34. His ass is mine.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 18, 2015 2:59 PM |
B99 was renewed, yes R35. I'm glad, I've really come to love this show.

Proving once again that fame is an aphrodisiac
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 18, 2015 3:10 PM |
But Scrubs had the hot janitor and the hot black guy in it.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 18, 2015 3:43 PM |
Loved Scrubs but cannot stand Samberg.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 18, 2015 4:09 PM |
Andre Braugher killed it in the last scene in the season finale.
I love Kyra Sedgwick's occasional visits as his nemesis, too.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 18, 2015 5:30 PM |
It's a fun show.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 18, 2015 5:34 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 43 | January 18, 2018 3:11 AM |
Consistently funny. Not much depth, but sometimes you want something light and frothy. And, god help me, Andy Samberg can be sexy.
