Viva used to be a regular on Merv Griffin's show when he was based in NYC. I was a kid but I clearly remember her being a frequent guest, she always sounded drugged out of her mind. My parents watched Merv every day. I would always turn to my mom and ask "Is that woman drunk or does she have a mental illness?" I was young and not aware of drugs, I assumed she was drunk. Nico was also a guest on Merv's show.

Viva with Patti Smith. Patti was always trying to latch on to some famous person or even a semi-famous one, can't stand Patti. What a fucking poseur.
