Masks on campus protestors
Masked and hooded mobs have an unhappy history in the US. Many find them intimidating due both to this history and to the suggestion that the people wearing masks are seeking to avoid any accountability for participating in the political actions they are taking.
The counter-argument that technology makes it possible to identify people and to reveal their identities to social media which can lead to harassment.
Should you be publicly protesting for a cause if you are unwilling to accept some blowback?

If I understand your concern it’s that you are not going to do any fucking protesting but you are concerned about what those wear who are protesting?
REMF
Wearing masks while protesting goes back 100s of years in a variety of countries.

I have protested in the past (including during Trump) and I may again. Your assumptions are wrong.
Masks may make sense if you are opposing an authoritarian government with a secret police that will kill dissidents, but not on a US college campus.

Then don’t wear one if you show up and protest. And just for the record when and where did you protest trump? Were police involved and was anyone arrested? Did you risk being thrown out of school?
It’s not your fight you are not showing up you are just a concerned remf bystander watching other people do shit.

Turnabout is fair play as the protestors are harassing others.
