Wife must be demanding it , isn’t he a Marin guy?

I love Chicago. I actually miss it. May need to visit again one of these days.

One floor is a giant closet and he’s getting it ready for Market Days.

This isn’t even a great building. You go outside and you’re on Chicago Avenue, which connects North Michigan Avenue to the Red Line subway and is filled with riffraff.

Yes, he's mostly Marin. His wife is from Chicago so it makes sense.

ILM in Marin is gorgeous-it's so large, it has its own fire station, and the library is a rotunda with those sliding stairs to the shelves, furnished arts & crafts style.

Not even Old Town. Or Gold Coast. Or Lincoln Park. Buck would never have lived on Chicago Avenue.

That is a concrete structure. Not steel. How the fuck can it be so tall yet not disintegrate?

by Anonymousreply 10April 28, 2024 1:30 AM

Quite a bit taller than also-concrete Trump Tower.
