Zac Efron was so cute when he first got famous. I used to like Rob Lowe back in the early 80's, I like a slim guy with a pretty face and longish dark hair. I realize you can't stay looking like an 18 year old twin forever but it is a crying shame how Efron has ruined his looks.

Efron's face was changed by the hormones he took (or is still taken). Plus he has body dysmorphia and he's been fucking with the shape of his face with further implants and fillers.

Notice how Gosling is wearing his hair tousled now instead of slicked back. He knows slicked back it will really show off those chipmunk cheeks.

While Efron certainly looks different, the photos they’re comparing him with are from his High School Musical days. He’s older now. His BMI is probably higher than what it used to be. I think he looks the short, early middle aged gentleman that he is now.

Theres only been a handful of very handsome/pretty stars...Rob Lowe, Brad, Bedford, Newman, heyday Cruise, Ryan Reynolds, Christopher Reeve, Henry Cavill, Robert Taylor, William Holden, Monty Clift: a lot of them rely on sex appeal, or a likeability quality...and today, their muscular body...thats why someone like Paul Mescal is a movie star, he has it...the X factor...not many main Movie stars were or are pretty or could be models. One who is so goodlooking but stardom eludes him is James Marsden...why?

Possible Gosling has had a reaction to his filler. He looks especially swollen. His body was quite fit on SNL this spring, so it's not weight gain in the face. I thought there was a big movement away from filler and back to lifts, resurfacing, and judicious botox. If you need volumes then it seems implants are better than filler.

his plastic surgery and body building gave him valid “good looking” leading man looks that lasted about 10 years. but it seems time is up. i preferred his OG looks. but im not a hollywood producer or the mass movie audience with its milquetoast taste.

R80 Well, in truth, how do we know that the mass movie audience doesn't also like his original looks? I think in Hollywood (where I've never worked, I'm just guessing) they do this stuff for each other, thinking it's what the mass audience wants. Personally I like an actor to look real. Gosling was never (to me) a big beauty, anyway - but cute - so why his OG looks weren't good enough doesn't make sense. I don't know if this post makes a lot of sense either.
