Well?

I picked financial stability but family/friends would have been my choice... not sex.

Buying ungodly amounts of overpriced technology. I'm going broke!

by Anonymousreply 8April 27, 2024 12:32 AM

When I was younger I thought financial stability would be my main concern as I aged. Now that I'm old, I'm fairly secure financially, but I worry about political instability...which is taking a toll on my mental health.

I tapped Financial Stability before I saw Health, but I think if one has financial stability it is far easier to attain everything else on the list.

I love how we’re all past sex and all about taking it out on others any way possible.

#1 Priority -Coffee in the morning, must drink coffee.

My very large pot of Trader Joes French Roast, Italian roast or Dark Roast coffee with a shot of expresso.

I'm not a nice person until I have coffee in the morning. Then I walk the dogs on the beach, and the cats tell at me.

I wouldn't say mental stability but I would say personal growth and development. I had childhood trauma that I only recognized and started working on rigorously in my early fifties, once I had not only the awareness of it but also the time and financial resources to do so. So that's been my big priority

Anal bleaching

Dilating my gash

^ you sad soul.

My diet is a huge focus. I spend a lot of time shopping and doing food prep. I'm still working full-time. Keeping my fridge & pantry stocked feels like a part-time job.

by Anonymousreply 24April 27, 2024 5:25 AM

As I neared retirement it was financial security that I prioritized. Post-retirement it was physical health. When my older brother was diagnosed with dementia - the same disease that took my mother - I began prioritizing mental health. And whenever I start thinking I'm losing my faculties, I come to DL to read some of the crazy shit you guys post here and realize I'm doing just fine.

Physical health.

R22 for the anal bleaching, do you use OxyClean or Clorox?

by Anonymousreply 27April 30, 2024 11:19 PM

R27 Neither, Soft Srub extra whiting

by Anonymousreply 28April 30, 2024 11:45 PM

I love my human family, but my pets give me 100% joy.

by Anonymousreply 31May 1, 2024 2:05 AM

To R31, I totally fucking agree with you on that, except for the "3am I have to pee& then the other dog wakes up".

by Anonymousreply 32May 1, 2024 2:10 AM

Financial stability & drinking. My Natural Light 30-packs have gone up at least $2 recently. Maybe $3. Outrageous!

by Anonymousreply 33May 1, 2024 2:10 AM

Natty Light....are u from Delco or South Jersey?

I rather drink a shot& PBR!!

by Anonymousreply 34May 1, 2024 2:18 AM

At 82, I'm still horney AF. Getting it on with my 70 year boy toy is Priority One.

by Anonymousreply 35May 1, 2024 2:24 AM

I have financial stability so I prioritize my pets.

by Anonymousreply 36May 1, 2024 2:33 AM

Physical Health, then sex. I still have plenty of drive - something comes with physical health, along with enhanced appearance and mental health

Food is a part of that there's a few foods I tend to avoid mainly cos I dont like the taste (mainly cured meats like ham, salami etc) and very sweet stuff, plus over sweetened sodas (Coke et al), otherwise I mainly just eat what I like in moderation and do a couple hours exercise a day.

Drinking is not a priority at all, I dont drink, and I am financially stable- not wealthy but enough to support a lifestyle that doesnt involve new cars or expensive designer clothes or anything much like that. I do travel a bit though

by Anonymousreply 37May 1, 2024 3:54 AM

Spirituality.

I worship matter.

My epiphany happened one day when I realized that the physical matter I was born into wasn’t made just for me.

When it sunk in that the Universe, Earth and my immediate surroundings were here billions of years before I was conceived and born and will be here billions of years after I die, I had a spiritual reality check.

Everything else falls into place.
