I have stated my boundries!

How was he, R2? Satisfying?

Alexi McCammond loves to bash the Democrats.
Plus her lip fillers look cheap.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 6, 2024 12:04 PM |
Alexi McCammond is annoying.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 6, 2024 12:13 PM |
Velshi is too, too much. He's over bearing and self-important, though he's smart and good on camera. I can only watch him for so long and then I have to change the channel.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 6, 2024 12:25 PM |
Alexi always blaming the Democrats, not the party that is actually taking rights away.
Why do the Democrats have to clean up the Republicans mess? Jonathan Martin too blaming Biden for not reaching out. Always siding with Republicans because they are the scoop, their drama helps get them famous for their stories.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 6, 2024 1:50 PM |
R7 Me, too. A few years ago I used to really enjoy his shows when he hosted. I learned a lot from the info he gave and the conversations he had with guests. Suddenly, he was everywhere in the past year and I've gotten Velshi fatigue. I watch for about 15 minutes then change the channel.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 6, 2024 1:56 PM |
Alexi Ex-Axios, is a cunt.
A pretty cunt but a cunt,
She joins the ranks of the Elise Jordans of MSNBC as cunting with the best of the anti-Democrats, anti-Bidens.
Where was Alicia Menendez this morning?
They need more Heidi Przybyla commentary.

She hosted "Washington Week" on PBS for 2 years. She's more qualified than some of the others to be an anchor.

Is Yamiche Alcindor on the Ozempic diet yet ?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 6, 2024 7:37 PM |
Yes, R17, and not surprisingly her PBS contract was not renewed.
Yamiche has a voice and delivery made for silent films of yore. She speaks too fast, is thick-tongued and, as I stated above, is prone to panting for breath.

Asshole Joe Scarborough accuses Israel of deliberate starvation of Gaza. Compares to Stalin.
MSNBC Morning Joe 4/5/24 6:17 am EDT
JOE SCARBOROUGH: It is increasingly looking like Benjamin Netanyahu had a plan to force famine on the Palestinian people, on the Gazan people, to amp up the pressure on Hamas. Of course, it seems to me that the hostages aren't even secondary in his mind because, of course, and people say, well, Hamas could release hostages. Yeah, they could! They're terrorists! They're terrorists! And they're not going to release the hostages unless the conditions are right. Which the conditions most likely are a cease fire and the allowing of the worst terrorists to escape out of Gaza with their lives. But, but this whole idea that if we starve the Gazan people, that's going to somehow help Israel in the long run, that's going to help the hostages? No! It's hurting the hostages, it's hurting Israel.
And of course you're, you're starving women and children in Gaza, and as Katty said yesterday, they're now having to grind up dog food and cat food and, and eat that, and, and drink salt water. I mean, it's savage conditions, and it's calculated.
And let me say, ๐ป๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ต๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, and somebody needs to ask me, why the hell the United States shouldn't intervene with a guy that has a 20% approval rating and knows that when the war is over, he could be going to jail.

R23 I agree. I've been saying that for a while now. I wish it were just Symone / Steele.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 7, 2024 1:39 PM |
That's surprising, because Alicia was really great filling in for Nicolle Wallace. I guess the format makes a difference.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 7, 2024 1:44 PM |
Plus how do Congress People take Alicia Menendez seriously when her dad, their colleague, is under indictment?
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 7, 2024 1:58 PM |
Alicia chooses not to compete with the two Negros. She would lose. So would Nicolle if she were on a three-person panel.
Alicia needs to be given back her American Voices show on the weekend, and they need to bring on a third Negro to The Weekend.
Or bring on an aggressive Latina, like Paola. Alicia chooses not to play.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 7, 2024 3:13 PM |
R26 They know how to separate the two. They are not being interviewed on a news show by her father, so they know there's a difference.

Yesterday I was listening to CNN and the reporter was treating the impeachment as real and discussing whether or not the House would convince 67 Senators to convict. Switched to MSNBC and they were (correctly) treating it as an empty political gesture doomed to fail

You also need 2/3rds of the House and 3/4 of the states to get rid of the Electoral College and neither of those is possible, so I donโt understand your focus on the Senate.

It's astounding how much Fox is like Russian state tv - here's Alex Jones crying on their Sean Hannity type host Vladimir Solovyov's show (in English - Vladimir lived in the US for years).
If you start at minute 17.30 on this video, Vladimir goes after the gays - and a bit later, our Alex is bawling his eyes out (to try to get the attention away from Vlad and onto himself!) At one point, he takes a swig of vodka, lol. Tears streaming down at minute 19 or so.
This video channel belong to a 26 year old Russian who fled when they had the mobilization because he didn't want to go to fight in Ukraine.

Michael Cohen is not untrustworthy considering the amount of evidence he corroborates and adds to, which is further corroborated.
You know, Like Sammy The Bull Gravano.
Contract killer who admitted to being a killer for the Gotti Family, and nobody doubted his recollections of his murders.
Cohen is talking about things that sent him to jail.
Cohen was a White Collar CONTRACTS killer.

Dasha Burns is the love child of Baghdad Bob and Tokyo Rose. This stripper dressed, fascist cunt has attacked Senator Fetterman (CVA) and President Biden (dementia) way ahead of the MSM in introducing the talking points direct from Faux News that they were not fit for office. Today, on Chris Jansing, her repetition of Twitler propaganda (without any hit of a challenge) was a bridge too far. She gleefully repeated a Trump/partisan attack on Biden (which originated with aptly named former Japanese PM Aso) as a feeble old man who will invariably lose in November. Please send this Pravda โjournalistโ to Faux, Newsmaxx, or OANN. Jaysus, WTF is wrong with Rashida Jones?

Lisa Rubin is an interesting vibe. She's very good and getting better, but you get the sense she's not the Joyce Vance/ Barb McQuaid/Sisters in Law type of gal. Hard to see her hanging with the other legal ladies bonding over apple-tinis. Easy to see her dominating every room and every conversation she's in without a moment of regret about it.
by Anonymous | reply 322 | April 26, 2024 12:28 PM |
Lisa Rubin is a working lawyer. The sisters in law are professors, a retiree, and a journalist who briefly practiced law. That's why the vibe is different McQuade and Vance are golden. Banks has been coasting on her reputation for years.
by Anonymous | reply 323 | April 26, 2024 12:33 PM |
r322, here. I get your point r323, and agree. I like all the women mentioned but it seems clear to me Lisa Rubin is poised to raise everyone's game. by Anonymous | reply 324 | April 26, 2024 12:42 PM |
I suppose because she's still a working lawyer, Lisa Rubin seems to give an immediacy to her court reporting that Ari and Katie, sitting in their MSNBC anchor chairs, simply lack.
On the panel show last night, Ari appeared completely sidelined by Lisa and pissed he even had to be there. Katie, at least, was far more invested in the conversation.
by Anonymous | reply 325 | April 26, 2024 1:07 PM |

But there are those who have real legitimate concerns about immigration, globalization, innovation, and what does that mean to their job and their familyโs future? You can see Lisa Rubin get very uncomfortable when she's on with Tristan Snell and he's spouting bullshit.
I don't know how they all manage to keep their cool when they're dealing with others who have gone off the reservation.
Though sometimes it seems as simple as stopping a conversation and concentrating on another guest, as Nicolle did last night after Frank Bruni spouted his "we shouldn't call them stupid" bullshit last night. Occupying buildings has almost always led to a police response and pretty serious discipline. There was a famous professional protester on video outside the building giving orders, so the idea that outsiders were involved is quite reasonable.
So what is he going on about? Does he think Columbia should have given up the building? Given in to the protestersโ demands?

Oh goodness just imagine the fuckery Joy Reid is gonna bring tonight.

by Anonymous | reply 525 | May 1, 2024 11:06 PM |
So Joy is in favor of breaking in and vandalizing buildings as long as it's a bunch of left wing freaks instead of MAGA extremists? Just because Republicans are hypocrites about this doesn't mean dumbasses like Joy and Chris have to follow suit.

The left sees looting, property destruction, violence, etc. as totally justifiable. See George Floyd riots.
by Anonymous | reply 527 | May 1, 2024 11:25 PM |
Remember Ammon Bundy taking over those wildlife centers as a protest over federal land rights in Oregon?
I guarantee that Bundy-esque individuals taking over a building on an Ivy league campus would inspire every editorial board and Blue Sky member to warn of imminent fascism and demand immediate SWAT team action. The whiplash from edgy "ACAB" messaging to "FEEL THE POWER OF THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT" would be amazing.
So much of this just comes down to the idea that, as this student puts it, "instigating radical change in both policy and public perceptions sometimes necessitates, and is historically tied to, disruptive and uncomfortable action." They truly believe that their cause merits an exemption from the rules and that the rules should be changed to accommodate them. And the support that they are getting from the faculty, staff, media, etc. is all just encouraging them in their misguided belief that they are heroes of the Fourth Turning.
I doubt even those arrested are going to learn any lesson other than this is awesome and it works because school administrators are, by and large, cowards.

by Anonymous | reply 531 | May 2, 2024 12:55 AM |
Alex opened with the NYPD video showing how prepared NYPD is for unlawful violence.
Wagner said some stupid shit about not showing a peaceful deescalation.
Hey, Alex, they successfully deescalated the CUNY Hamilton evacuation peacefully.
The NYPD video was a FAFO deterrent video.
Go back to Ms. Hilton to see if she got the arrest records and the desk tickets of the protestors, and cross-referenced them with the registered student body list. Now that would be investigative reporting.

I think whatโs behind this is the value placed on solidarity, since the left sees itself as a coalition of minorities and solidarity is a prime directive.
Most of the left doesnโt so much approve of looting or property destruction as much as they donโt want to criticize the people who are doing it. More like excusing rather than endorsing.

by Anonymous | reply 559 | May 3, 2024 12:42 PM |
Well she doesn't get under my skin because I simply don't watch her. Although I tuned in the other night just to see what was up and saw her wearing that 100 year old wedding schmata, trying to defend the criminals and antisemites who took over Columbia and remembered why she's a total joke.

The past comments were bad, but if she had owned up to them and said her views had evolved from what she was taught in church, Iโd have been satisfied. People do change their minds about gay rights. But the โI was hackedโ excuse was inexcusable.

I was a Joy fan until the siege of Israel and the Gaza war. Thanks for imputing racism to me and magically divining my skin color. When she referred to a guest from Jews for Justice in Palestine as her sister, I was done. She belongs on talk radio.
I listen to Ayman and I love Ali Velshi although I find his free speech coverage repetitive. Man is a kickass reporter.. Diverse perspectives on the Middle East are fine. Joy doesn't even try to present the news.

Alex Wagner is right behind Joy Reid as a massive bitter disappointment.
by Anonymous | reply 567 | May 3, 2024 2:10 PM |
I have stopped watching Chris Coughlin-Hayes and Alex Wagner due to their extreme support of Hamas and anti-semitism. I simply turn the channel when Joy starts yammering about Gaza. I do still find aspects of her show appealing.
by Anonymous | reply 568 | May 3, 2024 4:36 PM |
My dislike of Joy Ann Reid stems from the fact that she is a lying, gaudy, unpolished 21st century embodiment of the Sapphire stereotype and an embarrassment to the legions of dignified Black women professionals and laywomen who paved the way.
Maya Angelou's awareness "I am the hope and the dream of the slave," never resonated with Reid; now in her sixth decade, I doubt it ever will.

To everyone bellyaching about Joy's supposed homophobic comments forever ago on some old blog, GET OVER IT. Even if she did say those things, I think it's quite obvious the woman is a changed one. She has a gay kid, she consistently champions the LGBTQ cause on her show, has had a revolving door of LGBT guests over the years, and has proven herself as being an ally. That some of you give passes to some but continue to hold a smart, successful black woman's feet to the fire is not only telling, it's pathetic. Get a life.
