Has Anyone Been to the Citifield Chinese Lightshow?

Unless it is mobbed, it will probably seem quite creepy and sad, as here.

There are a lot of Chinese people in NY, especially Queens. Maybe they will like it. It’s definitely got an Asian flavor to the lights.

Let's see... Citifield....Queens.... I wish there was some way we could find out where these places are. Especially if the posted links might tell us...

It's strangely static looking. Even the ferriis wheel thing is completely still. No flashing, turning or blinking lights. Nothing suggesting movement.

I went to the "Moonlight Forest" Chinese-style lantern show at the Los Angeles County Arboretum, in Arcadia.

I really liked it! There was about a mile of light-strewn paths, with big set pieces on the lawns. It was ridiculous, tasteless, cracked-out, bizarre, and great fun! And even though it was drizzling, there were plenty of people there, not all Chinese. I'd happily go to another lantern show like it, because I like things that are colorful and weird.
