It's obvious Cruise chose Miles Teller so he wouldn't have to compete with a hot young male star. Glen Powell is probably the likeable pretty puppy of the movie who ends up getting killed and everyone is sad.

It's so weird this is a sequel to a film from 35 years ago. It would be as if in the same year "Top Gun" was released (1985) they had a sequel to "All About Eve" with Bette Davis: "All About Eve II: Channing."

It is a huge movie. They are spending over $200 million on it. It will be massive. Like it could easily earn $1 billion. The studio is counting on it having a floor of $700 million worldwide or it wouldnt be worth the investment.

Im sorry you arent excited about the movie. Thats cool. Not every movie is for every moviegoer. I am psyched. And i dont get excited too often anymore about upcoming films. For lots of people this is like going to see a new Star Wars movie. And it will be huge with the military and in flyover country.
