[post redacted because independent.co.uk thinks that links to their ridiculous rag are a bad thing. Somebody might want to tell them how the internet works. Or not. We don't really care. They do suck though. Our advice is that you should not click on the link and whatever you do, don't read their truly terrible articles.]

University of Vermont Medical Center has 3000 on its waiting list for colonoscopy procedures, OP. Wanna rethink your GOP talking points?

OP must have brain cancer as her analysis of the article was asinine and inept. Lobotomy seems to be the only solution or maybe death?

[quote]Australia was found to have higher survival rates than other countries, while the UK on the whole had lower survival rates.

It's not the system that fails cancer patients since Australia has the same healthcare system as the UK.

In case you missed the news our NHS is severely underfunded, OP. The Conservative Party will do everything they can to dismantle and privatise the operation, in plain sight or otherwise. It's not fair to use the NHS in its current state as a point of reference. Do some fucking research, ya basic. x

In NY with expensive private insurance (900 a month from the un affordable care act) I would wait up to 8 hours WITH an appointment.

OP what is your fucking point?

by Anonymousreply 8December 16, 2019 11:34 AM

Wow, only six hours?

Eight hour wait to admitted into the ER with my dad, multiple times. I think the shortest wait we ever had was five hours, one time. Las Vegas.

" Six hour wants to see a doctor on average in waiting rooms?"

Here in America, You can waste 6 hours of your life trying to find out the status of your claim with our beloved insurance companies, being shuffled from one department to another.

What planet do you live on, OP? It's not earth because the shitfest that is known as Medical Care, Inc. in the US doesn't have the slightest resemblance to the bullshit you're trying to peddle.
