Meghan Markle misses all the BRF Christmas events

What else they were expecting when they allowed Harry to marry this Trash.
She is worse that Diana
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 16, 2019 4:54 AM |
R1. Diana was the best thing that ever happened to the British royal family. Markle doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Diana.

No fan of Meghan, but didn't William miss Christmas festivities for a couple of years when they spent Xmas with Kate's parents. So what's the problem here?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 16, 2019 5:39 AM |
Much ado about dark skin, apparently. All this fuss made by people who hate democracy and love to suck on some privileged assholes' assholes..
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 16, 2019 5:47 AM |
Poor old queen.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 16, 2019 5:48 AM |
I also wonder why Megan and Harry are castigated for missing xmas with the queen when William and Kate did the same for several years spending xmas with the Middletons. And the Middletons live in England, Will and Kate could easily charter a jet and visit both families. Where as Megan and Harry have to fly to another country to see her mom on the holidays- much more understandable. I just don't get the double-standard. Hell Prince Charles had to publicly shame Kate and William just to spend time with his grandkids. Yet Megan and Harry are the worst ever. So stupid
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 16, 2019 5:49 AM |
[quote] Hell Prince Charles had to publicly shame Kate and William just to spend time with his grandkids
Get real.
Charles could have made time to see the Cambridge kids whenever he wanted. His nose was out of joint because Catherine was close to her parents and they spent more time together with the young kids. It seems much more likely that most young mothers would want their own mother and father around.
Pictures of Catherine's mother with George out and about look entirely natural as granny outings. I know that Charles was very close to the Queen Mum, but given the formal nature of their lives, could anyone picture similar pictures of little Charles with his granny? I think the closeness of the Middleton family unit was a very attractive picture to William.

[quote]I also wonder why Megan and Harry are castigated for missing xmas with the queen when William and Kate did the same for several years spending xmas with the Middletons.
R14 Because Wills and Kate didn't spent the previous 9 months behaving like spoiled children savaging the hands that feed them. Megs and Ginger don't want to pay prices for their deplorable actions and utterances. THAT'S why they are being castigated and rightly so.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 16, 2019 6:08 AM |
I have a theory about this.
Meghan is a well known feminist / female advocate.
Before she even knew Harry, she was traveling the world, speaking on women's rights and women's issues.
I'm thinking that after learning about Prince Andrew's Epstein connection, she decided that she wanted no part of being around him.
It kind of makes sense. Any woman with half a brain (so that would exclude Kate) would be disgusted by Andrew's behavior and his past.
Especially for Meghan, it's either put up, or shut up. And she has decided to put up - meaning, she is refusing to be around him in any sort of social setting.
For those who might say, "well she doesn't have to speak to him," um... yeah she does. If he's there, she has to speak to him. The BRF wouldn't tolerate her snubbing him in person.
So what she has chosen to do, makes the most sense. She's just going to stay away from him.
Will it piss off Harry's family? Probably. But at least she doesn't have to be associated with Andrew, in any capacity.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 16, 2019 6:55 AM |
She gets her kicks exerting her power over Harry by making him turn his back on his family. Many people have spouses/partners like that.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 16, 2019 7:29 AM |
R17. Markle's decision not to spend the time with the BRF was decided and planned long before the Andrew blow-up interview. Markle has been in social gathering with Andrew before this. Her decision not to spend her time in the UK was made long ago. She doesn't want to be there because no one asks her if she's doing okay.
I'm not saying she doesn't have a right to see her own mother on a holiday, but she has made it quite clear she doesn't want to be with her husband's family because they don't kiss her arse.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 16, 2019 7:39 AM |
While Markle is in the U.S., is she going to see her father even for a private afternoon so he can say hello to his daughter and meet his son-in-law and grandson? What the fuck is wrong with Harry that he isn't demanding that they see the father? Or is Markle going to ghost her father for the rest of his life. Markle has ice water running through her veins. Her father didn't commit murder. He made a mistake. And so did she. Doesn't she think she should see him at least once before she heads back to the U.K.?

by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 16, 2019 7:52 AM |
I hope the whole family have a good Christmas but especially The Queen. Its been another annus horribilis for her.
I wonder if the Queen and Philip appreciate Fergie so staunchly defending their son and will invite her over? If so she'll be beside herself with glee.
Of course, the maids can expect to find Fergs passed out under some Christmas tree come Boxing Day morning. They should be smart and put a GPS tracker on her so she's easier to find.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 16, 2019 8:11 AM |
Megan thought she would be the STAR of the brf and they said "No dear, you have to be as dull as us." She's pissed.

Meghan would have been eclipsed anyway. Charlotte and George are doing their first Christmas walk. All eyes will be on them - and Meghan certainly won't take a backseat to children.

by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 16, 2019 1:09 PM |
The difference is the Queen's age. She may not be here next year. When William and Kate missed Christmas, the Queen was much younger, and they were still extremely close by, so they could still partake in Boxing Day. Everything Meghan has in terms of her current celebrity is thanks to the Queen's grace and favor - her title and her HRH of which she reminds the world of ever Instagram post, her free home, the renovations for that home and her allowance. She spurned Balmoral in August - Baby Archie was too young to go to Scotland but not France on Uncle Elton's private jet) - now the Christmas lunch at Buck House and Christmas Day. It appears like a slap in the face from an ungrateful brat.

If George and Lottie are doing the Christmas walk then I'm even more surprised Megs is MIA. Her m.o. would be to not only do the walk but bring Archie along also and have SS working overtime driving the narrative that they are teaching Archie duty and responsibility from an early age, no slacking off for years for their son.
She must have something bigger up her sleeve...

I love how you're all so knowledgable about the Royal Family yet you think they spend Christmas at Buckingham Palace.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 16, 2019 3:18 PM |
Who said the RF spends Christmas at Buckingham? The Queen holds her Christmas lunch there and shuffles up to Sandringham.
I'm not sure why people are equating the Cambridges decision to spend Christmas with the Middletons to the Sussexs' decision to decamp to the U.S. during the holiday season. The Cambs spent Xmas with the MIddletons at Anmer Hall on the Sandringham estate, a short drive to Queen's holiday residence and spent the following day with the queen, right? How is a one day absence comparable six week sojourn across the Atlantic?
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 16, 2019 5:52 PM |
[quote] ...Sussexs' decision to decamp to the U.S. during the holiday season.
I don't think anyone knows where the Sussex family are. I doubt they are camping out in Doria's guest room. I wonder if they are in LA at all? Or the USA at all?
With all the cash being paid out by the tabs, someone must know where they are. And Sparkle loves the camera, so we most likely will get some pictures.

Visit your father. Make it private. Give him two hours of joy to see his grandson. Harry, demand to meet your father-in-law. The two of you...stop being such bitches.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 16, 2019 6:29 PM |
The Cambridges only spent two Christmases away from Sandringham. Once in 2012 when Kate was pregnant with George and was dealing with severe morning sickness and again in 2016. As other posters have noted, they were in good stead with the rest of the family. No one knows why Harry and Meghan are not attending any of the Christmas festivities this season but no reason puts them in a particularly favorable light considering their shenanigans this year.
Just today (on the day that William and Kate's TV special with Mary Berry premieres), Meghan's mouthpiece Omid published a letter from the UK-based African Women Lawyers' Association that states that Meghan is "owed an apology" for her poor treatment at the hands of the media. So those who think that Meghan has been chastened and will come back from this break ready to buckle down are sorely mistaken. She's doubling down. Thank good the media and the public have seemingly mostly lost interest in her and Harry.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | December 16, 2019 6:42 PM |
R49-The Queen always celebrates a Christmas luncheon at Buckingham Palace the week before the 25th. It's for extended family. So yes, one of the Christmas celebrations does indeed take place at Buck House.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 16, 2019 6:42 PM |
She's not exactly to the family she never had elevating her to HRH status and global fame, is she?
by Anonymous | reply 57 | December 16, 2019 6:43 PM |
R55-I don't get these weird letters of support. The only thing they seem to accomplish is to make Meghan more loathed. People don't like being told how to think. And these chastising letters are accomplishing exactly the opposite of their intended purpose.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | December 16, 2019 6:45 PM |
You people are completely insane. Here in the UK you'd have to look REALLY hard to find any mention of these people. Why are you so obsessed by these people even British people don't really care about? Harry and Meghan are so far down the line of succession they're completely irrelevant.

Wasn't he seeing a much younger woman who had young daughters, and then suddenly no more on that?

It's funny how everyone suddenly forgot and dropped Will and Kate's "Duke and Duchess Dolittle" monikers as soon as Megan came on the scene. Kate couldn't even give a speech before Megan came on and gave her some solid competition. Now suddenly they are so hands-on and Kate is an English rose yadda yadda yadda. It's so transparent.

Yes, it's more than apparent. Even Diana who assessed herself as "thick as a short plank." However, it seems she deployed her "ignorance" as a tool. The palace did try to help her out with her intellectual deficits as it seems she was tutored in English Literature lessons from an Eton (or was it Oxford) professor. Can you imagine otherwise, the 20-21 year old Diana beside some old important diplomat trying to bring Spandau Ballet into the conversation? What if she brought up Barbara Cartland type discussions with the foreign dignitaries she escorted then at State Dinners? It was practically her only repertoire.
What does it mean for his fate for life? Being stuck as a mark by an accomplished American Narcissist?
