Bad Blood, a retelling of Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos. It was illuminating, gripping, and entertaining as hell.

“My Ex-Life” by Stephen McCauley. His first novel was the terrific “The Object of My Affection.” His novels have become a bit formulaic but he writes a good story and his gay protagonist always mirrors what’s happening in our culture.
