oh god, please no!

R1 Oh God, please yes!

Robert Reich is 0-1 in predicting Bernie wins.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 11, 2019 2:55 AM |
Seems like Rob is on to something. The polls, however cleverly skewed they might be by the 1%, show that Sanders and Warren aren’t going anywhere soon.
Biden seems to be safe(for now) but the other or done...
Just like Donald is dumb, done, Dumped, and dead, dear.

Warren could step down and throw her support to Bernie. That would put Bernie in the lead. But she's too selfish.

Reich was a relentless Hillary hater in 2016. You'd think seemingly smart people would know better than to fall to a complete fraud like Bernie Sanders! I despise him.

No way old man Bernie is elected.
It’s just not gonna happen.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 11, 2019 5:18 AM |
This is the ticket we need.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 11, 2019 5:29 AM |
That's a bunch of malarkey!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 11, 2019 5:50 AM |
He's a pandering fool, like the two candidates he's talking about. Says they'll win because this is an establishment vs. anti-establishment election. Bullcrap.
And if it is, that's why they'll LOSE.

the DNC will rig the vote against Bernie just like '16
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 11, 2019 5:56 AM |
No one wants a cranky old fart for president.

Very creepy graphics in OP but it fits with the idea of those two running the country.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 16, 2019 6:42 PM |
Just like Trump in 2016, I feel Warren/Sanders have voters who are motivated to vote.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 16, 2019 7:03 PM |
Race didn’t come up once in Reich’s discussion, but it pervades everywhere else.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 16, 2019 7:24 PM |
Exactly R15.
Warren and Sanders together have the "Obama" factor.
While their supporters separately may not like each other, there is at least a sometimes rabid, excitement there that Biden can't generate. They will come out to vote.

Sanders and Warren are WAY too far left for most Americans. How many times must this be repeated?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 16, 2019 7:47 PM |
The video addressed this R18.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 16, 2019 7:50 PM |
I agree, R17. If and when they join forces, they will be unbeatable!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 16, 2019 11:27 PM |
R18, that's what the media and people in power say. Bernie seems to connect more with the white voters in the crucial swing states more than the others (I'm not sure about Warren since those people tend to be misogynistic). People will want to overthrow the status quo. The Democratic establishment needs to listen to the people instead of their donors and I don't even like Bernie. I just want the GOP out.

R21 If they weren’t beholden to “big money”, they would’ve fully embraced Sanders and Warren by now.
Instead, they’re trying to force feed us Biden and Buttigieg whilst cleverly turning a blind eye to Bloomberg...
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 17, 2019 1:43 AM |
Go Bernie and Elizabeth!

R22, "Instead, they’re trying to force feed us Biden and Buttigieg whilst cleverly turning a blind eye to Bloomberg..."
WHILST? Puleaze. Go back to your bloomin' pub and stay out of our politics.

Bernie will win.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 18, 2019 12:03 AM |
Bernie and Liz are the best candidates we’ve got, that’s why.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 18, 2019 1:50 AM |
No Democrat is winning, so there’s that.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 18, 2019 1:53 AM |
Bernie Sanders is surging in California.

Who wouldn't vote for Meemaw and Peepaw?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 18, 2019 2:56 AM |
People still believe Bernie will win? My god. I like him a lot. But it's Biden and we just have to accept it. I know it sucks. But if we don't agree, it's the Idiot all over again. And then he will the emperor with clothes.

[quote]But it's Biden and we just have to accept it.
I hate to say it R31 but my first response to this was "we" don't have to accept anything.
However, that touches base on an issue that is the primary difference between Democrats and Republicans: we're never lock step. We don't always agree on things. We like it when people are heard. We will turn on each other if we think someone has done something wrong. It would be very odd for us to all gather behind one candidate or ideal. It's just not in our nature.
So while Biden might win I don't think it will be as clear cut as that. We'll find out soon enough.
And if he does win the primary he will be under scrutiny from not just the Republicans or the media but from us as well.

R32 So true.
