Well, bitches, at least she has the support of more public figures than her husband and father. Now if she can just land that coveted Stevie Nicks endorsement while the moon is in Saturn I'm sure she'll stand a chance in Iowa.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | December 10, 2019 12:04 PM |
Bitch fell for fake news just yesterday. You really want someone like that as president?

That fake news seems like it could be only about a month away from being real news, R6.
Which is why we need Marianne in the White House.

You're thinking of Tulsi.

I wonder how her books sales are doing since all this began?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 10, 2019 12:20 PM |
I'd love for her to get one totally strange endorsement from some minor celebrity like Chrissy Metz.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 10, 2019 12:46 PM |
Oh, honey, there ain't nothing "minor" about Chrissy Metz.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 10, 2019 12:49 PM |
Bless her heart.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 10, 2019 12:50 PM |
Chrissy Metz was my go-to for a frauish C-lister that I and Dataloungers would know.
Should've realized there was a fat joke there.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 10, 2019 12:55 PM |
Chrissy strikes me as a Bernie Gal. I bet she supports Medicare for All. God knows she'd probably bankrupt it though.

Do you think Marianne orders the taco salad when she goes to a Mexican restaurant?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 13, 2019 6:02 AM |
She used to have a large gay fallowing during the AIDS crisis in the 90's, now its mostly single old Fraus.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 13, 2019 6:13 AM |
R26 Didn't she say AIDS could be cured from the power of positive thinking?
The DCCC needs to tighten up these debate qualifications and kick Marianne, Tulsi, and Yang to the curb. This shit is too serious to waste time on these three flakes.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 13, 2019 6:20 AM |
Not in those exact words R27, she did a lot for the gay community back then including starting Project Angel Food and numerous fundraisers for people with AIDS. But her over all spiritual answer is basically the same, once we all heal ourselves and treat each other with love, we will solve all the worlds problems. Nice but not exactly the new drug therapy that saved everyone life when people were dropping like flys.

by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 14, 2019 10:05 PM |
Tulsi = Russian Spy
We should just call her Natasha at this point.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 14, 2019 10:14 PM |
She managed not to make a complete fool of herself.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 15, 2019 12:19 AM |
Marianne is only doing it to be relevant again and sell books people. Everyone can see that. Even her fans conceded a long time ago there is not a chance in hell she could win.
My ex was really into her back in popular day with the gay men. They kind of left her after the light went on with the Segorne Weaver thing. She has been bouncing around the country ever since. Her background is very patch even after she become Marianne Williamson. Mystery who the father is of her child, going broke after writing a million dollar book, drug use, former actress. But while I am sort of throwing some deserved shade, deep down she does not seem like an evil person or a religious charlatan. She really believes that stuff and in HER mind she is doing all she can to help the world.

The same is true of any candidate who isn't Biden/Bernie/Pete/Warren at this point. At least Marianne just wants a show on the Own Network, I suspect some of the other candidates running are plants.
At this point it's time for them to drop out.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 15, 2019 11:48 AM |
Tulsi is defiantly a plant. But no one likes her so, her days are numbered. She definitely does not have the Aloha spirit of all the people I have met from Hawaii over the years. More like a Russian Fembot.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 15, 2019 12:16 PM |
Tulsi won't be at the next debate. Who else should join her?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 15, 2019 4:53 PM |
I still think they should let Beto come to the debates as eye candy.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 15, 2019 5:15 PM |
Tulsi = third party pizza pie faced cunt
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 17, 2019 5:01 AM |
Candidates needed either 4% or greater support in at least four DNC-approved polls, either national polls or single-state polls
These guys are out of the debates, but have not dropped out of the race. Basically hanging on the coat tails of the top 5 at this point, their days are numbered with polling at 1 or 2 percent:
Cory Booker, New Jersey senator
Julián Castro, former Housing and Urban Development secretary
Michael Bennet, Colorado senator
Tulsi Gabbard, Hawaii representative
John Delaney, former Maryland representative
Marianne Williamson, author
Deval Patrick, former Massachusetts governor
Michael Bloomberg, billionaire former New York City mayor
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 17, 2019 9:44 AM |
Who are the top five?
There's more like a top four: Biden/Bernie/Pete/Warren. Steyer is polling in fifth behind them but he's way behind.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 17, 2019 10:56 AM |
There is no fifth. There's the top four and a bunch low-polling hangers on.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 17, 2019 11:09 AM |
Oh, wait. It's Andrew Yang who's in fifth. He's a joke candidate, again, not helpful for 2020.
If you're not polling in double digits it's time to drop out and has been for a long time now.
And Steyer and Bloomberg shouldn't even be allowed to keep running at this point. All they're doing is making the party look bad for 2020.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 17, 2019 2:07 PM |
Who doesn't love a tired old meme still being dragged out?
by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 17, 2019 2:08 PM |
We're going to find out in twenty years time that the Yang campaign was actually rigged by the Chinese Communism Party, aren't we?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 17, 2019 5:32 PM |
Some of those 1% candidates exist only to undermine the serious candidates.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 17, 2019 9:12 PM |
Cory Booker must be going to drop out soon. There can't be that much longer left on Rosario's contract.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 17, 2019 9:13 PM |
There's another debate this week... And I think they STILL have super low requirements and so all the hangers-on will be there.
Except Tulsi... because eh...

by Anonymous | reply 59 | December 21, 2019 9:12 PM |
Amy Kuntbuchar is polling at 2%.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 22, 2019 11:18 AM |
Klobuchar is only popular in Flyoverstan. Cant see progressives or the black vote making her number one at all.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | December 22, 2019 11:22 AM |
I miss her at the debates.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 22, 2019 11:28 AM |
Amy has little to no ground game outside of Iowa (and Minnesota). I have no idea what she intends to do in New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, California... is she does really well in Iowa. Scramble in a matter of weeks and hope for the best?
by Anonymous | reply 63 | December 22, 2019 11:32 AM |
Marianne dose not belong in a Presidential debate, her forum is the mystical world of nondenominational prayer and crystals.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | December 22, 2019 11:34 AM |
[quote]Klobuchar is only popular in Flyoverstan. Cant see progressives or the black vote making her number one at all.
The black vote isn’t important. The moderate white voters in “Flyoverstan” are. See 2016.
The blacks didn’t turn out for Hillary and neither did the white Rust Belt voters. She would have won, though, if those white moderates in WI, MI, and PA have voted for her instead of Trump.
Amy can win those voters.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | December 22, 2019 11:35 AM |
Explain why Amy is polling at 2% then. No one really cares for her. There is a lot more than just the black vote missing. That line that Amy uses about winning ( which by the way reminds me of Trump) only worked because they were all from the same people in her area. She has no appeal to the rest of America which is far more diverse not just race, but in political philosophy and belief systems.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | December 22, 2019 11:56 AM |
Good luck trying to win the nomination without the black vote, the progressive vote, the gay vote...
The only 'blocks' she can count on are the bulldyke vote and the office bully vote.

R67 Significant overlap between those two voting blocks...

Funny you say that, the one really bulldyke I know is all over the Marianne things. She wants someone who "inspires" her. She's also a Jewish life coach and Realtor. I know right?

I wonder who she'll endorse, if anyone, BTW.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | January 11, 2020 10:11 AM |
Does Oprah still have the pull with the Fraus anymore? I know she still did with Obama but seems like she has faded into the background the last decade. Yes, I know she is one of the richest woman in America, not what I am talking about though.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | January 12, 2020 8:03 AM |
If you mean does her endorsement swing the way anyone votes... I'd say no. Even at the peak of her reach she couldn't do that.
Her 2008 endorsement was interesting because it signaled to Hillary that it wasn't her turn and that she and certain other non-white folx in the media wouldn't be going along with her attempt at a coronation or an attempt to run a campaign whining about muhsoggynee.
Did the weight she lent to Obama matter? Among voters, no, I don't think so. They were going to vote for him anyway, which was the right choice. Things like endorsements and experience are things only the media focus on. Primary and general voters don't care: see Trump.
