Notice on the Gallup poll where McCain made gains, his numbers jumped with men. Women not so much, women not so impressed. I keep reading on certain blogs: She's one hot babe! I will vote for her to be the next POTUS. She's hot! I think men are voting with their dicks. Go female voters! yes. OP, let's say we have the "opposite" of what happend in 2000. That would be that McCain won both the popular and electoral vote (as Gore did in 2000). In order to do what the repubs did in 2000, the dems would have to have enough control in one of the states that McCain won narrowly, and then disrupt the count. This would be the point at which the Supreme Court would step in. However, in 2008, the Supreme Court would end up making the appropriate decision and return the case to the state, where the votes would be counted and McCain would end up winning. Does anyone want to own up to the the fact that UNLESS there is a war going on, many young people join the military because for the simple lack of any motivation, cash, or grades to go to college and because they don't have any idea of what to do with themselves other wise. I am annoyed at the idea that the only TYPE of service that is valid is military. I am infuriated that the Republicans have once againg steered this debate into a "guns and ammo" issue. That is if your not pointing a gun- you're really not doing anything valuable for this country. Fuck them I only regret that Obama was not more forceful about slamming the Republicans for insulting community service. Fuck Gulianni, fuck Palin and & Fuck McCain for allowing these people to insult everyone out there who did more for their own neighborhood, schools, churches, and community when the government didn't give a shit. Tickets to a monster truck rally? The many polls which report numbers daily mystify me. Who are they polling? I've never been personally contacted for a poll or asked my opinion. Do the pollsters actually contact people? If so, how are they selected? Or are the numbers simply fabricated? Scarlett Joahnsson said that kissing him in Match Point was horrible. Try to fit in one of those walking tours of the East End - I think people have mentioned the Ripper tours etc. That part of London has lots of fascinating history too, and it makes a change from royalty.
