True. U.S.C. seems to have scandal after scandal. What the fuck?

by Anonymousreply 2April 18, 2024 12:50 AM

We have no such scandals with our Gamecocks!

Apparently, the girl’s parents were also dirt bags. Both their kids ended up entangled with this freak (Puliafito.) He was plying them both with drugs.

Sarah was set to start college in Texas but then her mother insisted she move with the parents to California? That’s weird.

Yet the dirtbag parents swooped back in when there was a settlement to be had from U.S.C.

This would have never happened at Hudson University.

At Hudson University she would have been murdered within 20 minutes of enrolling

He was a very, very, very bad med school Dean. The recruitment of Dr. Aisen was much less salacious, but also quite scandalous and might have set back Alzheimer’s research.

R9, the podcast discusses the poaching from UCSD. Overall, U.S.C. has always had a shady reputation. I don’t understand how they think this kind of behavior will help them, regardless of how much research funding it brings to U.S.C.

The part they can’t really say out loud— but the book and podcast dance around it— is the cultural reasons (both institutional culture and background of USC’s leadership members) you see things like this at U.S.C.
