I never heard of this show until today.
The woman in bed it should have been our LUCY. Ron Howard was just two years away from Happy Days so he didn't need this forgettable show. I guess Henry Fonda was a bit hard up to have to lower himself to appear in a sitcom.

Darleen Carr was in EVERYTHING on ABC in the 70's. She and Kay Lenz.
The Smith Family was pretty boring. I think Fonda played a former detective, and in one ep creepy Henry Jones was threatning his family because Fonda had sent him to prison.
