Have you been to "Casa Kimberly?"

It looks lovely. I can see why they enjoyed Puerto Vallarta so much.

Puerto Vallarta wasn't much of a town when they went there for the first time to film "The Night of the Iguana.' They brought the tourism with them, and the toursm is what made the town a city.

Allegedly, Liz followed Burton to Puerto Vallarta because she didn’t want to leave him alone with Ava Gardner. As it turned out, Ava preferred to run around with the cabana boys.

by Anonymousreply 16May 1, 2024 2:31 AM

R16, There was also 18-year-old Sue Lyon to worry about.

by Anonymousreply 26May 1, 2024 2:28 PM

Which one of you bitches wrote this?

[quote] The wrap-around terrace, completely secluded, has its own pool and Jacuzzi, and offers panoramic views of the sparkling waters of Banderas Bay and the majestic Sierra Madre mountains, just as Taylor and Burton would have seen them. Over the magnificent Mexican Colonial style bed, a Swarovski crystal chandelier illuminates the hand-painted winged cherubim gracing an elegant dome.

Barbra Streisand's son, Jason Gould, visited the house last month. Jason appears to love Puerto Vallarta:

"Visited Liz and Dick’s old house (Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton that is) which is now a restaurant and hotel here in magical Puerto Vallarta."

The house was a pit stop on this season of The Amazing Race, but they didn’t go inside, which was kind of lame.

by Anonymousreply 31May 1, 2024 8:13 PM

R31, I saw that! I thought it was lame that they didn't engage the house in some way.
