What's the punishment?
If you fall asleep during The Wizard of Oz.
I was watching the Wizard of oz on TCM and I got comfortable on my bed watching. I laid down and at the part where Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and the tin woodsman meet the cowardly lion I fell asleep.
I woke during the next TCM program, something about MGM

I am surprised that you can sleep through the singing and screeching

I love both the original film and the black version.

The punishment is that you must now re-post this in the "I Want to be Underwhelmed—Vernal Equinox edition" thread where it belongs.

The first time I did cocaine was when I was 13 and walked in on my brother snorting a line in the bathroom during the annual airing of Wizard of Oz. The movie was exquisite!
Every viewing since then has been a let down.
OP, you have now sullied your ability to experience this great movie. You’re kind of a loser like me. I’m eating cheesecake for breakfast, btw.

That's nothing. I fell asleep during The Guns of Navarrone, in the theater!

I always fall asleep in recliners in movie theaters regardless if I have an interest in the film. Always.

Never cared for this movie. I didn't like Pinocchio either.

When I was a kid I fell asleep every time I saw it. I wasn’t even interested enough to ask if she ever made it home. It wasn’t until high school that I ever watched it in its entirety.

Does anybody remember the disco called Emerald City, in the old Latin Casino, in Cherry Hill, NJ (right outside of Philly)?
Good times.

I was so tired that when I went to the theater to watch," Raiders of the Lost Ark," I fell asleep just after they were chased by the boulder and woke up just as the Nazis were opening the Ark. I have not seen the film in its entirety.

You'd have to pay me a considerable sum of money to sit through that shit.
It wasn't magical to me when I was a tot. Half a century on, much less so.

What's the punishment? Nothing as shaming as the response to your English skills:
Oh, dear.

Now, OP, you shut your gob and go feed those hogs before they worry themselves into anemia!
Oh, and here, can't work on an empty stomach.
Have some crullers.

I had to puke during 'Taxi Driver.' It wasn't because of the movie, however.
